My first time at this little mom & Pop place… I have to say I was totally impressed with the amazing broasted chicken I had. Dont expect this to be like a fast food joint tho… It’s well worth the wait!

Being Filipino, I’m always looking to find good Filipino food away from home especially so I can support my brothers and sisters. Ambiance was your typical Filipino fast food joint, with a few mix matched tables and chairs with a tv showing TFC. Ordered the broaster chicken based on the reviews and it was just as delicious as everyone said. Skin was crispy not oily and the inside was very juicy. Also ordered the lechon kawali, crispy pata, shanghai lumpia and the sisig. Although just a party of two we over ordered with the intent of wanting to try many things. I guess they have a limited number of crispy pata so if you are craving this, go early. At first he told us they ran out but somehow he found another one and brought it to the table. Craving satisfied! Food was good overall but service was slow although very friendly. They also deliver to a few neighboring cities.

Holy mother of chicken! I was given a gift card to Valley Broasters and I am no stranger to trying new foods or restaurants. I ordered the 3 piece chicken which came with 1 side for just under 8 dollars. Huge portions and the chicken was honestly some of the juciest I had ever had. You’ll have to wait 15 or 20 minutes but I assure you the food is fresh and worth the wait. I cannot wait to come back and try their filipino menu.

Just tried for fist time and will definitely be back. Chicken was so juicy but not greasy at all. Can’t wait to go back, to try the Filipino menu.

Both service and quality are excellent! The chicken is irresistible and served extremely hot. A return trip is definitely in order.

The service was wonderful and friendly. The chicken was great but the sides could have definitely been better. I’m a mac n cheese snob so I am very hard to please, the noodles were a good texture but it needed to be cheesier. The coleslaw could have been creamier. I will definitely come back and try the Filipino food.

New Filipino Restaurant with genuine Broaster Chicken. Broasting is the combo of a pressure cooker and a deep fryer to cook chicken more evenly while absorbing less oil. Sounds awesome right? Well don’t get your hopes up, hyped up Chicken that only delivers with an underwhelming taste and while the skin was nice and crispy, the inside was not up to par with other Chicken joints. Atmosphere: definitely needs work, the place seems old and needs updated seating. While that could be overlooked, the main problem that I had was that the place didn’t seem like a clean environment. Floors don’t look like they’ve been cleaned for a while now and it didn’t seem like a brand new place that you would expect at a grand opening. Food: What you should get– the Cheesy Chicken Sandwich with home made chips. Not a Filipino dish but it was great and delicious. The home made chips could’ve been a bit more crispy but it was good. The sandwich was bomb! Chicken was seasoned nicely and covered in cheese! Don’t get: the dinuguan– left an after taste with it The dish that I actually ordered for myself was the FRIEDCHICKEN combo with rice. I was totally hyped and excited to eat it! 20min later… my excitement dwindled as it took them THAT long to make two pieces of chicken and rice. Crazy right? Anyway I thought I could overlook it after I took a bite of the chicken skin… delicious! Great seasoning and perfect crisp. Then I bit into the dark thigh meat… I don’t know how they cooked it but it tasted undercooked and looked pink. Weird since they advertise their cooking as being able to cook chicken thoroughly. Luckily the white meat that came with it was delicious. So as a side note… DON’T GETTHEIR Dark meat like I did, otherwise you might get disappointed. Maybe I will change my review if I ever come back… but it’s a bit of a drive from Kansas City. 40 min drive from KC. But if you’re willing to make the trek to the lone Filipino Restaurant close to Kansas City, it won’t hurt to try it. Who knows, you might end up having a better eating experience! *this review was written by a Filipino Unilocaler that grew up with his Mom’s awesome homecooking… so all Filipino Restaurants unfortunately get my harsh criticism… End of disclaimer regardless I hope this restaurant improves and does better since they are fellow Filipinos… I would like to wish them longevity and success in the future. #HappyEating

I went and loved everything about it. Being Filipino, I have an unconditional love for Pinoy food and have been without ever since I moved up to Kansas City. The food was as authentic & delicious as can be and everybody there was just as excited as I was that I found them!

There food wasn’t great and it was cold by the time we got it home, I live 5 minutes away. But it was cheap and had a nice staff, plus the owner came out to talk to us. It wasn’t that clean though, there was food all over the tables. Anyways, decent food, nice staff and a dirty restaurant.

The main thing I notice is that this place is NOT clean. There are only two tables and they were dirty. There is some crappy furniture set up in front of a TV in one corner with a dirty fan behind the couch plugged into a dirty orange extension cord. There’s a basketball throwing game in the other corner with some boxes of trash under it. This is the MOST uninviting place I’ve ever been. The employees seemed apathetic. The chicken was just OK. The onion rings were good, but we only got 4. There were no fountain drinks — canned soda and bottled water only. I think the manager came in while we were there and sat on the couch to watch TV. I would definitely NOT recommend this place.
