Tara’s Antiques Mall

Nice owners, great selections. Reasonable prices too.

I am an avid antiquer (I don’t think that’s a word) and purveyor of nostalgic items, and I loved this place. I took a trip to Goodlettesville specifically for the antique malls and Tara’s was the best shop I went to. My issue with most antique places is that they are not organized well, too cramped, have too much junk, and are overpriced. Tara’s, fortunately, did not fall into any of these traps. The store is quite spacious and set up well, and I didn’t look at anything and think to myself «why the heck is anyone selling this and who would buy it?» As far as prices go, Tara’s was also extremely reasonable. They have a great selection of furniture, clothing, décor, tools and gadgets spanning anywhere from Victorian American to the ‘70s that made my little sentimental heart beat fast. They also have the best selection of vintage postcards I’ve ever seen, including neat roadside postcards from the ‘60s and romantic Victorian postcards. If you love antiques, definitely check this place out!
