I went to three other stores looking for Windows to decorate and every other store just sat there and told me to look around and find them myself. Goodletsville antique mall welcomed me in, took me to the back of the store and showed me about 10 Windows after they were even closed. Amazing service with happy smiles. I will go back to them!

My wife and I have frequented this antique store for a about 3 years, purchasing pieces on occasion. Well as we walked in the door this past weekend, we overheard some short-haired middle-aged woman, gossiping to her co-worker, about somebody(s) in a negative way mentioning she thought they might be «Jesus freaks». Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, but it also comes with a price. She has the right to spew garbage within earshot of customers and, as a result, we have the right to not give them anymore of our business.

The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the beautiful showcase room, then the second thing is the friendly staff member greeting you from the counter. The new mall owners have done a wonderful job! Everything is organized and tidy with excellent selections of beautiful antiques, collectibles, primitive pieces and decorative items. I can leisurely walk around with ease through the booths with no pressure. Overall, one of the best antique stores I’ve visited.

This mall is AMAZING!!! As soon as you see the front window, you know you are not in a dusty, musty antique mall. You are in a luxurious antique STORE! Then, you reach the Pièce de résistance — THEANTIQUEMALL! There are rows and rows(and rows!) and booths and booths and more booths from antique collectors/dealers who have scanned locally, regionally and sometimes nationally to find unique, beautiful and, sometimes quirky, gems from the past. I guarantee — you will find exactly what you are looking for! Sure, there are booths of furniture, galore! But there are booths with vintage clothing, booths with vintage lamps and lamp shades, booths with old tools, booths with vintage jewelry, booths with vintage anything-to-do-with-cooking. Booths with rare books and vintage books of all kinds, booths with vintage videos, booths with vintage lace, curtains, tablecloths, and anything-fabric. You’ll find vintage knives, vintage glassware, vintage pottery. Kitschy, campy things like vintage lunchboxes, vintage plastic banks, Things that are funny and just make you smile like the complete set of those great juice glasses from«The Jetson’s» that I grew up with.(Showing my age.) And of course, a not-so-vintage Cockatiel who apparently responds to hearing women talking.(It chirps A LOT!) Dealers are pain-stakingly meticulous to make sure their booths are beautiful, current with new items and well-maintained. You won’t have to sift through a lot of stuff you don’t want just to find that one(or two or three) item(s) that will make your home a place that says«This says ME». You could literally spend hours visiting each booth. I walked around saying«I remember this from Granny’s house!» and«my mom used to have one of these!». Turns out, it wasn’t just«old stuff». They had utility, purpose and beauty. I found how and why they came into being and that they were in most homes — no matter how rich, average or poor the folks were. I saw things that gave me a glimpse of our history which are no longer in use. I had a brand new appreciation for my heritage and the generations of the past. The owners, Allen and Linda, know antiques inside and out. I learned enough from Linda on my first visit to hang with the Antiques Roadshow guys! Many dealers offer discounts on items in their booth. Sometimes, they mark every item in the whole booth down and some even offer layaway through the store. This store is a gem tucked away in a sweet, little community less than 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. Do yourself a favor and spend a day at the Goodlettsville Antique Mall!
