Awesome drinks. Great service. Fast and friendly. I’ve never disliked anything I’ve gotten here before. The portions are huge too

Blenders is a must! The best smoothies you could possibly try. The service is great, the staff is nice, and extremely efficient. With a line out the door, you won’t wait more than 5 minutes for your smoothie! My personal favorite is the Tropical Guava with extra strawberries, no ice. Also their bowls are amazing! In addition to everything you get one free supplement where as every other smoothie place charges for that.

Been to a few different Blenders locations, all solid. Real delicious quick and convenient smoothie place. You can grab a quick protein/energy bar as well. Service is always nice and fast. The story of the 3 guys who started the business is mounted on the wall of each locations. Interesting story! Cool to read while waiting a moment for your smoothie or juice to be made. Real local feel. Be back again.

Truthfully, I thought the smoothies were average and not memorable. My brother who attends UCSB loves this place and took us here. Good smooth but again, not spectacular.

****Update**** I was contacted by the owner who had taken the time to review the video footage of my visit and discuss with his employees what went wrong and how to handle allergies and order modifications with more concern. I appreciate the attention to making things right and will be returning to Blenders soon! ***************** Original review: Anybody who has lived in Santa Barbara longer than a week knows that Blenders in the Grass is a five-star joint. I’ve been coming to blenders since 1999 and I’ve never had as bad of an experience as I had today at this location. Granted I had a big order, but the cashier girl got it right: I had two full-size drinks split into small cups, and another full-size drink. I had a bowl split into two, and another bowl not split. The total order was $ 28, and again, the cashier got it all right. She put in all our modifications into the system: the drink splits and no honey or granola or sorbet in the bowls. The only thing she had to tell the team verbally was the honey thing — everything else was on the ticket. The team member who finished up the drinks first of all did not split the two drinks that should have been. I corrected him. Then he split the one that should not have been. I corrected him. At this point, it’s still a five-star job. Blenders are amazing, and little slips like this are no problem. But then, the bowls. The first split bowl had granola on it. I corrected him. They made a new one. Still five stars. Blenders are amazing. Then the second bowl had granola on it. I corrected him. I stepped out of the store to help my kids with their drinks and when I came back in he gave me a «corrected» bowl. Halfway out the store again I looked in the bowl and found pieces of granola floating around. He had merely scooped off the top granola. I asked the guy if this happened and he said, «Well, yeah… Wait, is this an allergy problem?» «Uh, yeah!!» Now we’re down to one star. I don’t need to go into the danger of this thoughtless slip. Clearly, someone working in the food industry needs to be in tune with the importance of getting people’s orders right when allergies are concerned. This could’ve been bad, really bad. So, he made a new one. He drizzled honey all over it and handed it to me, apologizing. Dude, no sorbet, no granola, no honey. I corrected him. He made another one. I will of course keep going to Blenders. This was the mistake of one worker, not the management or business model. But the point of this is simple: Blenders, educate your personnel.

I’ve been going here since I was a child. Blenders is a staple smoothie shop of the Santa Barbara area. Quick and tasty, especially on those hot summer days, am I right? Prices seem to have slow drifted higher and higher over the years,. But still worth your money. Get yourself a 24oz styrofoam cup and check it out.

Locals’ favorite smoothie shop. Outlets all throughout the area. 50⁄50 and the banana are personal perennial favorites.

Yummy Tummy treat– they offer great additives like bee pollen, chia, immune booster, and protein powders. Never had a problem with this store. Consistency is important to me when it come to customer service+taste. Lastly they are very quick… This is my go to Blenders when getting off the pass.

Acai Berry Power blend smoothie thing rocked my socks. I like the texture of the blended ice. It’s not completely a smooth smoothie like Jamba Juice. It stays cooler for longer. The staff was very friendly. Supposedly the Kale Breeze and Pina Colada are awesome. Lots of drink options… I purchased a cookie and bran loaf slice. They were both SOOOOO delicious! I’ll be back!!!

All I can say is that I wish I could drink the strawberry colada every day of my life.

I’m a fan. I go here often. Two of my children have celiac disease(gluten free) and smoothies are one of their favorite things. For my money, this is the best place for a smoothie in Santa Barbara. The piña colada is a personal favorite.

Blenders in the Grass is a monolith of easily accessed, reasonably priced, yummy-mostly-healthy food. But I’m writing this review because the Calle Real location deserves a special shout out: I always notice on my way to work that they get the tired professionals, the soccer dads, and the angsty teenagers, yet they always serve with cheerfulness, energy, and a good attitude. Keep it up, guys!

Blenders in the grass is so much better than Jamba Juice. Tasty and filling and the employees are really nice.

Truthfully, I still like Jamba Juice’s blends better, but it is there when I want a fruit type smoothie and Jamba is not. Not much other selections and not all that different from Jamba.

Doesn’t even compare to Jamba. I love that you can get a 12 ounce now, though I loved getting one 16 ounce in college and sharing with the roommate. Every Blender I’ve ever had from here is so fresh, so tasty and just way more delicious than anything I’ve had from Jamba or the like. I always look forward to stopping in whenever I visit Santa Barbara area.

Stopped over here whilst leaving Santa Barbara today. Was looking for a healthy option for breakfast, and since we are in Cali… well, there isn’t generally a shortage of options… though, Anaheim sucked. Great place, friendly staff and fully vegan options. Comparable to Booster or Jugo Juice in Canada, but seems a little less processed and a lot more organic. I would definitely visit this chain again.

I really, really like this place. They have a great, creative selection of smoothies and fresh squeezed juices. What I really love though is that they are a LOCAL company, and they sell baked goods from other LOCAL businesses. Not that I’ve ever tried them though because the cookies and Rice Krispie treats are the size of a newborn baby and I’m on a life-long diet. They used to have this seriously cranky girl managing the place and back then it was not a lot of fun to go in there, especially early in the morning because home girl was obviously not a morning person. She has since been replaced by another manager and the place is a million times more pleasant to go into. I like it when I’m greeted by a smiling, energetic face at 7 in the morning as opposed to a grumpy guy or girl, it helps me get my day off to a good start. Also, even though they hire college students, they have great personalities and none of them ever seem to be suffering from«Stupid College Girl(or boy) Syndrome». Once a month they introduce new flavors and if there is one you fall in love with, you can still ask for it throughout the year, like peanut butter and jelly, pumpkin pie, lemon merigune, etc… What I don’t get though is why I have to pay an extra 0.50 to make my smoothie with soy when soy milk usually costs less than dairy. Oh well… Maybe one day all of man kind will work towards becoming dairy-free and I won’t have to pay that 0.50 extra. Yeah right.

Best damn smoothies I’ve had away from home. Screw Jamba, they have nothing on Blenders.
