I bought my mother the most beautiful hanging basket here. I asked for assistance from a staff member, explained that I was looking for something that could handle full sun and was drought resistant(my mother is notorious for forgetting to water plants). He helped me select a Ivy Geranium that was gorgeous. It was full and overflowing with flowers. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the plant($ 27). We are now about 6 weeks out from Mother’s Day and the plant still looks great!

Now that frost is gone I went looking for some greenery, herbs and flowers. Excellent stock, several greenhouses full of favourites and the prices quite reasonable. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and a cute baby! Not sure if they grow them there, but pretty sure not for sale. lol Even though it was early I found a perennial ready to bloom for mother’s day. Didn;t even look this trip, but next time I’ll update about Ice Cream.

Flowers, herbs, vegetables, and ice cream: the Devriendts have it all. The prices are reasonable and their greenhouses are a joy to look through — I always find well-cared for plants that I didn’t even know I needed. The family and their employees are friendly, and their ice cream business turns this garden shop into a summertime destination. So much better than going to a big box store — get your plants here, get your pots at Ace Hardware downtown, and keep your gardening local!

I have purchased perennials for my garden here for many years and have never been disappointed. My plants are happy and healthy and return year after year. They have a great ice cream stand as well!

Love Devriendt Farm. The family who runs it is great, and always well informed. I ask lots of gardening questions of them and they are always happy to help. Also– great veggies, local treats, and a yummy ice cream stand.

This is a terrific farmstand run by a terrific family. I’ve been buying from the Devrients since they moved to the big white farmhouse and their hard work has really paid off for them and their customers. I’ve never been disappointed with any plant or produce I’ve purchased there. Be sure to save time to grab an ice cream cone while you’re there!

The flowers are well-cared for and beautiful. I’ve only made one flower purchase here so far, but I was pleased by the price and quality! And the ice cream stand is great! Good variety of flavors, and the«kids» size is huge — for only about $ 2. The staff is friendly, and the seating area is clean and perfect for summer ice cream with the family. I’ll definitely be back this summer.

Went to see what they had for flowers. Green houses and quality of plants and flowers were GORGEOUS. Only down fall… price. :( Looking forward to trying the ice cream on a hot summer night.

When I lived in Brookline, I’d go over to Blakes in Milford and get a burger and some ice cream. Then they closed!!! I was devastated. All until I learned about Devriendt! I was so excited to have Blakes ice cream again, that I ordered the«Mullet» sundae. So. Good!!! It’s peanut butter fudge ice cream with whipped cream, hot fudge and Reese peanut butter cups. There was so much of I couldn’t finish it… but I will be back next time I’m in Goffstown :)

I should have written this in the Summer when we were here every day enjoying our daily ice cream concoctions but I was in a sugar haze. When you are accustomed to paying for ice cream at Cambridge, MA prices, this place is a fantastic find. The ice cream is delicious and they have all your standard flavors(my fave is pistachio) plus some local NH themed ones. They also make great sundaes — so many, these have their own menu. If you are watching your fat, they have soft serve and will dip in chocolate if you wish which forms a delicate shell coating over the soft serve. After you enjoy your ice cream, buy their sweet sweet corn picked that morning or tomatoes, zucchini, etc. They also have perennials and annuals for your garden. See why we come every day…

Went again this year back in July and still feel the same way. It was a little early but I was able to get tomatoes like I wanted to!!!

This farm stand is open year round which stocks potted plants, flowers, perennials, trees, mums, bulbs, soil, mulch, seeds, supplies, and more. I was impressed with the selection of plants in their greenhouses and the prices are reasonable. During the appropriate seasons, the farmstand has fresh fruits, vegetables, sweet corn, pumpkins, apples and more. During the holidays, they sell a good selection of Balsam Fir trees and wreaths. I also like stopping here when their seasonal ice cream stand is open, which sells Blake’s Ice Cream(hard or soft serve) treats including cones, dishes, sundaes, root beer floats, orange cow, frappes, parfaits, banana splits, razzles, cookiewiches, and cold drinks. Blake’s Ice Cream to take home by the pint, half quart or half gallon are available too. I enjoy their Special Sundaes($ 4.95 plus tax) including the Brownie, Smores, Strawberry Poundcake, and Maple Lovers. The Cookiewiches($ 1.95 plus tax) are very good too, which are made to order with choice of ice cream sandwiched between 2 chocolate chip cookies. Covered picnic table seating in front of the counter.
