Amazing food, unbeatable selection of healthy and organic products. I always find the most unordinary holistic stuff here that I can’t find anywhere else, I’m a diehard Wholefoods advocate me have been for a long time, and their customer service is impeccable. Additionally, this particular location(Glendale) also has veggies at their burrito bar that you can grill by the pound, I love being able to have them cook my fish and veggies then walk over to the sushi department and get my brown rice and have an amazing custom made dish!

I used to hate on this WF so bad. Maybe because I still remember my first visit here, with someone I’d rather forget. Ha. But regardless, I still find myself here pretty often. Especially now that I no longer work by the grand Pasadena store on Arroyo. This location always has parking though, and the hot/cold bars are pretty good. I usually end up here on lazy weekends when I need my French coffee and tofu scramble fix. It’s not my first(or second) choice, but it’s still WF so it can’t be that bad. Just $$$.

Best market, has everything I want and more a little small on the inside prefer to go during the week when it’s not as busy, employees were super helpful especially in the dairy section.

I went to Whole Foods yesterday and ordered a burger and waited for 15 minutes to get it and go pay for it at the registers. That’s when my time with Whole Foods went downhill. The manager named Susanna declined my virtual giftcard that I had obtained and told me it’s not valid. I argued that I had used it at this store before and that it should be honored if its a Whole Foods gift card that is applicable to be used at any store of theirs. But I was denied to use it and was sent out of the store. I’m unable to speak to anyone at corporate or HQ because they are incompetent to return calls or even PICKUPTHEIRCALLS! The store manager Linda told me they dont sell virtual giftcards and have the right to refuse any when they clearly sell them according to their website and terms and conditions. This is the worst service by far from any store I have went to. Gift cards shouldn’t be a problem at any store, especially if its issued by the store itself to the vendors.

How sad that such an establishment who constantly keeps up appearnaces and changes things around, has such a disgusting restroom for their patrons. I know this is a grocery store, but it’s sad such a small restroom is so disgusting. I now have to walk around your supermarket with someone else piss under my shoes, contaminating your floors. Appalling.

The dinner items are great as in Fresh hand crafted pizzas. These workers in pizza kitchen Take time and work with Absolute speed and skill Creating phenomenal pizzas. The store is great for salads, energy drinks Or juice bar. Lines where not bad for holiday But cashiers at other whole foods More upbeat … I say two thumbs up on pizzas and cold drimks!

I’ve been coming here since it changed from Mrs Gooches. 90% of the time I’m happy and leave as a satisfied customer. However today was one of those bad times, I even spoke with customer service who the guy couldn’t give two S***s to help me. It was such a silly thing too, but I ordered a pound of salmon and asked it to be cooked medium. I love that they cook fish here. So the guy says med rare or med well? I said no, medium. Medium is after med rare but before well done. I came back to check on it after 10 min and she said med rare? I said medium please. The girl who cooked it burned it. Not pleased. So like I said, I went to customer service and mentioned maybe the fish department needed some more info on cooking fish. He was like, maybe you explained it wrong. Well that went nowhere. I had already paid and left.

I took off a star for the lame parking lot. They are set up fine here. The store is easy to navigate through. I found what I wanted very quickly and the cashier was friendly and quick. I was pleasantly surprised being as it is so close to the holidays. I am glad I found what I wanted here.

Their food is pricy so you would atleast expect the quality to come along. All I got from that store ended up not being fresh, specially the organic eggplants, after I cut it and saw that were all bad, it went straight to the trash.

This is the first time I’ve shopped in this WF store since moving to Glendale. I went in specifically looking for items that I’ve grown accustomed to only finding at WF, but to my surprise this WF didn’t have any of them. When my wife and I lived in Chicago, up until this last Spring, our building was .25 miles away from both WF and Trader Joes. The WF near us was big and had everything, including their own full bakery and the best raw meat/poultry and prepared meats and burgers, with huge fresh selections. Not only does this location in Glendale fall short in those categories, but they also did not have tart frozen yogurt(no frozen yogurt at all of any kind), did not have the ginger water/concentrate that I loved buying once in a while, and I they did not have a good selection of preformed specialty burgers and no skirt steak either. There are a few other items that I would only buy from WF which this store didn’t have either. I doubt I will return… no reason.

Kind of expect more from Whole Foods. What happened to this market? Quality in cleaninest, organization, and foods are just so off. Maybe they should focus on what the locals want, delete the waste. Hot food area — be careful of flies. Suggestion indoor seating cause theres only 2 tables outside in a not so comfortable eating setting. This location will still have alot of items. Large parking lot.

I am going to say the staff is great, but hot food is totally not worth it. Went to Lassend today and their hot food is so much better. AND organic. Where as the food in the hot bar and salad bar isn’t. Also I used to love their cookie box with fresh cookies. But as it has been now a month that they’ve had their Halloween themed cookies in there. I now know they are definitely not fresh:(

The chicken in the hot food section is always extremely dry! So is the falafel. I’ve had the breakfast burrito that is in the hot food section and it was also extremely dry. I’m staying away from the hot food. I’ve had the sushi and I was happy with it.

All I can say is overpriced and overrated! If you go for lunch expect to spend close to 20 bucks for pre-made food.

Remodel turned this Whole Foods location into a SUPERMARKET!?! All that effort to resemble a down-market grocery? Used to have nice store-within-store for Heath, beauty, and gift items. No more! Endless aisles that don’t invite browsing. Appears they trimmed in entity as well. Items I used to come here for have disappeared… Salad bar not fairing well either. Looks like recipes have been rejiggered to control costs. Used to have lovely lush pre-made items. No more! Bathroom appalling! Not serviced in 3 hours. So sorry I wore good leather shoes in there. Expensive to toss, but how to clean? Won’t be back… Bottom line: loud jazzy soundtrack doesn’t make up for severely cheapening store experience.

This is by far one of the largest Whole Foods I have seen around. Certainly has the largest selection of fresh seafood and meats around. As such they are probably one of the busiest I have seen as well. There are constantly having turn over of cars so be careful as you walk around and as you back out! You don’t want to hit anyone while you’re trying to buy your specialty chocolate and fresh sea urchin. Yes, I said it fresh sea urchin. Where do you find things like that usually? No where… no where else except for THIS Whole Foods. They also have a great bread selection as well with my favorite being the French Brioche bread. Great for bread pudding and Kayang toast(Singaporeans you know what I’m talking about!). If you’re looking for pretty much any type of odd foods, your best chance is here at Whole Foods and if you give them advance warning I’m sure that they will be able to order it for you. I’d say the one down side is the fact that they don’t have their specialty burger patties that I am seeing so commonly over on the east coast Whole Foods stores. Seriously, if they had that they would complete themselves and be able to fight Rita the crazy lady.

Today I found a pubic hair on my smoked salmon collar you buy from the seafood section. It was embedded in the fish. it was not fish hair. pause…it was Human freaking pubic hair!!! Aghhhh!!! I’m never eating here again. I used to eat here almost everyday. I’m never I will shop here for groceries etc but never eating foods that have passed through hands here I don’t trust them anymore.

Service: Amazing, I have to say. I had many questions for certain ingredients or beverage, each worker helped me out with a smile and with many alternatives or answers. Food: Fresh but overpriced. Ambiance: Market with a farmer’s market kind of feel. Parking: Small parking lot with a lot of people walking around, so be careful. Always some idiot on his/her phone that jumps in front of a car.

This is a pretty large Whole Foods. Decided to get take out, so we browsed the many, many options they have — deli, salad bar, pizzas, Asian station, burgers, sushi, and on and on… We settled on a burger and fries, street tacos, and a cold Asian noodle dish. Overall, the quality and taste were underwhelming. That’s too bad, since their food looks amazing. However, they do have a pizza special on Thursdays, which includes select 16″ pizzas for only $ 10. And they have street tacos Tues/Sat for $ 1 each(warning — they are very tiny but tasty). We’ll come back to try a pizza. tip — we were looking for a particular liqueur to purchase. Sadly, we discovered that they do not carry any liqueurs or liquor. The closest Whole Foods that does is in Pasadena.
