One of my favorite chill spots in Glendale. Great drinks, great food, awesome bar staff(Jackie is awesome!)! Live music certain nights. Clean and a great vibe. Hit N miss as to being busy or not but no matter, you won’t be disappointed.

The happy hour here is wonderful from 12−7pm. They offer a good food menu and a 2 for 1 drink special at a great price I came here for lunch and had the nachos, my classmate had the hot dog and he was full and happy. If you’re not looking to spend too much and want to have a drink with good food come here for the happy hour.

Great bar and great food. I loved the atmosphere and the fact that they had TVs. Its a really nice spot on Brand for drinks, and food. They also have tall pitchers of beer you can share with friends.

Hello,… Sweat! Lol I love this place for a cold beer and the fries! I mentioned sweat press because the two times I’ve been here during summer and towards the end of it was hot! The ceiling fans and the big open windows didn’t help me. I love feeling the freeze breeze or a/c hitting my skin. I had none, so I felt like I got more sweaty in there(it was night too). The bar: Sticky menus not sure if it’s ever been cleaned. It’s a busy place! Know what you want and get that order down before happy hour ends! Ekk! Hurry! Beer! Beer right meow! Love the fries and it’s probably the only thing I was willing to try because the menu was sticky. I wasn’t sure if I was able to keep the fries down after I was a little grossed out by the menu. But, hey I had two beers and I felt a little dangerous. This is a guys hang out place and great for happy hour. Not for me, I felt like a damsel in distress but if you have enough beer you’ll probably be over it. Enjoy the happy hour! Cheers to beer!

This is one of my favorite local bars to go to! My friends and I always have a great time here and always get a tower(of beer, I’m a HEF kinda gal). If you ever stop by this place make sure to get a tower to share with your friends. I’m not sure which but some nights they do have live music and thats always fun! I love the environment here, no weirdos or anything, chill people coming out to get a beer. My friends did try their hot wings and fries and definitely did love it, they made sure I mentioned that on the review haha. I love the fact that this place is close to home and the service has always been great. Make sure to stop by when you get a chance!

Love love loved! Went in around 9 on a Thursday night and it was semi busy but the service was amazing. Each server that would pass by would ask us if we needed anything or more drinks. The drinks were amazing and the cajun chicken caesar wrap was to die for!

I think I found my new Burbank bar. Everyone is so inviting and make it known they want to know everyone who walks through the door. The floor manager instantly got himself acquainted with me and my party. It was great to feel so at home when it’s my first time here. Can’t wait to come back and not be in a hurry. Thanks Arthur!

There is literally no other reason to go anywhere else in Glendale for a beer. They have a daily happy hour which is really amazing honestly. Like 2 beers for $ 6?! Yes please!!! I mostly stick to Racer 5 or any other IPA.(Drink happy hour is from 12−7pm. And food happy hour is 12−4pm.) Drink happy hour consists of their beer selection and well drinks. Their specialty cocktails are not included in the deal. The food is pretty good. I’ve tried their seasoned fries(which are the best food munches!). Their quesadillas are pretty delicious too. I’m not a big fan of their chicken torta. It’s pretty much delicious bread with chopped up chicken and lettuce in it. I won’t be ordering that again. Their nachos are a hit or miss but it’s still worth it if you go during happy hour. They have a chalkboard that has their weekly specials. But seriously, there’s no reason to go to another bar besides here. The staff are super friendly and helpful when you ask questions and they will give you other options if your choice of drink is not available. Anyway, point is… stop reading this and head on over to Tavern on Brand. Trust me.

My friend and I met at Tavern on Brand to check out their Happy Hour. I liked the two for one deal on some of the beer. We both ordered the Allagash Blonde Ale and it was very good, so we ended ordering a second one. We ended up ordering two orders of the edamame because that was something to eat that didn’t contain lots of calories. It hit the spot. There is metered parking in front or a lot in back. You do have to walk all around the block to get to the parking. I would recommend walking with someone to your car if you park in back.

Came here randomly on a weeknight at midnight with a large group. Our server was super nice and accommodating. I had the touch down which had grey goose, St Germaine, mango mix, and lime. Pretty sugary drink but tasty. The place has a simple, dim ambiance. Clean and our service was on point.

Nice indoor bar. It gets quite hot at times. They typically have musicians come and sing covers. The staff is friendly. But expect a wait on drinks. Their stuff mozzarella sticks are great! Not greasy! *chorizo tacos are delicious! *taco Tuesday! *happy hour for beers! 2 for 6 $ gray variety *thursday special on a tower! It does get pretty loud so be aware. ^^

While searching for the latest happy hour spot to try in the Glendale area, thanks to Unilocal I found out about Tavern on Brand’s lengthy happy hour from 12PM to 7PMDAILY!!! My best friend and I ended up walking to the place(next to Alex Theater) and was impressed by the vast selection of draft beer(craft and non-craft) that were included in the happy hour menu. For $ 6, we got 2 beers instead of 1! To me, that feature would make me want to go for more beers especially if I decide to stay at the Tavern on Brand for a few hours and watch sport games on TV. Furthermore, the bacon wrapped shrimp with fries tasted crispy and delicious(despite of the hefty price), the ambiance was chill, and the service from the bartenders were excellent. They were friendly and attentive to their customers. Overall, Tavern on Brand is a MUST if you want to enjoy cheap draft beer with company during happy hour.

Joined friends for an after-party meet up here and it was a great spot. Comfortable atmosphere, accommodating(yet VERY busy) staff. We had a ginormous party and we were taken care of efficiently. I only had half of an 895(being a responsible driver, y’all) and snacked on what Unilocalers had suggested — garlic fries(I liked them, but didn’t love them. They use oil vs fresh garlic). Also ordered chicken tenders as they are our go-too for boozing nibbles but these were a bad choice… imagine soggy orange chicken minus the glaze. I heard the potato skins were killer though… next time. Four stars for their happy hour menu that I look forward to trying in the future(2 for $ 6 beers!) and, as I said before, for having great patience in serving large groups.

Definitely want to come back to this place! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy at all. Minus 1 star because we had our eye on some food that they had run out of(I don’t remember exactly what it was now). They have a great happy hour which we definitely took advantage of-even early on a Sunday! I love the look of the place-brick walls, open air in the front… my kind of place. We ordered shrimp wrapped in bacon with fries and it was superb. I’m sure on Friday and Saturday nights this place is packed; I would like to try it then as well as to just order food… looking forward to it!

This bar sits on a quiet area on the strip of Brand Blvd in Glendale. Some other popular restaurants across the street are BJs, Olive Garden, and CPK. The ambience here is pretty casual. They have a daily special menu for drinks everyday! The garlic fries here are superb! Carne Asada fries are on the top of my list at this joint! The quesadilla here is good too! This place is pretty popular! I come here during lunch hours and before they close(I know, i’m that last minute customer. LOL) and they’re packed! You might have to wait a bit in order to be seated! So try and come before 3 to 5! The first couple of times I came to this place, the service wasn’t as great. They’ve definitely improved over the past couple of visits within an eight month span! Not sure if they hired new workers or not but I like the attentiveness. Not many bars cater their attention to you, maybe because you get so drunk, they don’t want to deal with you. Idk lol Nonetheless, I recommend this bar to anyone out of town, in Glendale/Burbank/Eagle Rock area. Come one, come all!(: Enjoy their appetizers guys! Have a lovely day!(:

Garlic Fries Friendly customers Efficient service Plenty of games on the tv’s Plenty of Happy Hour and daily specials Yes! This bar/restaurant offers all of the above. Note: all seats were taken by 6. They were showing the Ducks vs. Anaheim(finals) and the Golden State Warriors vs. Rockets(finals). I’m assuming this is not the normal level of activity for a Wednesday.
