I just opened a smog check station a block down«ecoSmog» and I was looking where to eat and I saw sasoun bakery and thought I’ll try it out, Amazing Amazing food!!! But more importantly the lady working there was so sweet, very nice!!! I’m very happy to say that I am looking forward to having lunch here all the time!

I stumbled across this place when waiting to get my nails done a few doors down. I popped in for a quick visit and it looked like it was a very new place. There was an oven and cashier but no tables or anything and a lot of extra space. After waiting a few minutes, a lady popped out and she did not speak English well at all. I took a peek in the fresh fridge section and saw that they carry muhamara which I absolutely love. I have it at Arde’s in Burbank but have never found it in a store… Until now! It was extremely well priced especially since walnuts are so expensive. I bought a hummus and muhamara for a total of $ 3.50. Only had one of each otherwise I would have purchased more! We will definitely be back and hope they keep more than just one of each in stock!

I love this place!!! The best thing here is the spicy cheese boreg. It’s so good. Perfect hint of pepper. It’s absolutely delicious. Always baked fresh. They have a few locations but my favorite is the one in LA crescenta. The girl there is always sweet.

This bakery is delicious! We always order the cheese beoreks and the spicy cheese beoreks and they’re both great! I love how the dough isn’t too thick so it doesn’t overpower the flavor the of the cheese. It’s so yummy especially when its warmed up in their oven and the cheese is melted and the bread is a little crunchy — the best! The only thing I would say is that the beoreks are a bit overpriced but they’re so yummy. If only they reduced their prices a bit, I would be there EVERYDAY!

Sasoun bakery is great. My favorite is their cheese borek with red pepper. Their lahmejoon and manaeesh is really good too. Can’t go wrong with Sasoun bakery!

I love their lahmajun! for $ 1.00, you get a delicious Armenian«pizza». I wish they made it gigantic pizza size… I’d pay to see the biggest lahmajun ever baked. So fresh So yummy

The date cookies and their Lehmejoon are my favorites. I take a dozen Lehmejoon home usually. Fresh hot Zaatar bread right out of the oven in the morning with some hot tea from donut shop next door are heavenly together.

I can’t say enough about Sasoun. I love lahmajun. Love, love LOVE it. I try it most anywhere it’s on the menu, but Sasoun just does it right. The crusts are thin, papery, flaky and crunchy in just the right combination, and the lamb and tomato and spices of the topping complement the floury crunch perfectly. I could but 100 of them and just roll them up like cigars and down them in minutes. They’re THAT good. The mana2ish is also incredible, with soft pillowy dough covered in flavorful and delightfully sour za3tar. I will admit to the tahini bread being a LITTLE sweet for my taste, but it seems to sell like gangbusters, so that may just be me.
