Pretty DAMN good. My job ordered this yesterday as a catered lunch and it was spectacular. The secretary ordered two salads, one calamari and one Ceasar, zucchini fries, a long fried chicken sub(at least 3 ft) and miscellaneous sandwiches. The servings were just enough, the food was fresh and so very yummy. I have never had this place before but let me tell you our department LOVED it. This is so good that we are considering placing it as a regular catered lunch option.

I love this place!!! The food is amazing! I’ve loved everything I ever order from here. If you’re getting it delivered, be prepared to wait over an hour and pay more than most Italian restaurants, but you will not be disappointed! I’ve had several dishes. This is my favorite Italian food around! Worth the money and wait!

I waited until I ate here a few times before I wrote an actual review. I’ve passed by the restaurant about 1000 times while at stop and shop or driving down union tpke for work and never really paid attention to it until I recently tried it. The first time I came here I got a couple of slices and a chicken roll, it was fresh and tasted great. Then I came here for dinner with the family and ordered take out as well and the food was just as good and fresh. It seems hard to find consistent Italian food in the neighborhood lately and this place really does it well from my experience. You can find all of your typical Italian american food here so I’m sure it appeals to most. I can’t believe I’m going to say this but seriously order the broccoli with garlic side instead of pasta, no joke it’s amazing.

Great food reasonable prices. It’s located in the stop and shop complex on union turnpike. They have a public lot they share with other stores. The food and pizza are great. I have done take out and eat in, food is always good never disappoints. One of my favorite dishes is the balsamic grilled chicken with veggies. Their dinning room is nicely decorated and separated from the pizza part. The menu gives you lots of options to choose from and everything is freshly made.

Great food at an extremely affordable price. They turn over tables quickly and serve better quality food then most restaurants that charge 30%+ more. Everything is good from the pizza to the entrees. I use them often to cater small parties at my home, my guests are always happy and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the food served. Great local place to eat good, quickly and at a very reasonable price.

This place is a great staple of the neighborhood. You get quick service and good pizza and pasta dishes. They have a great selection of pizza toppings, as well. My favorite is the chicken caesar slice. Hubby usually gets the veggie slice. Regardless, their slices are VERY generously topped, which is the best part! The atmosphere is very nice — they have dark wooden furniture with modern, clean lines. They have 2 designated areas for a proper sit down dining experience, plus 1 designated area if you just want to wolf down a slice and run out. That set-up streamlines their operation and is very convenient. This place is consistently good and very delicious. I’m glad to have it in my Queens arsenal.

I am very picky when it comes to pizza. I go to one pizzeria(Lillian’s) when I want a standard Neapolitan thin slice. I have another go to pizzeria(Barosa) when I’m in the mood for a thick Sicilian slice and when I’m in the mood for a Grandma slice Pizza Classica is my place to go. I love their Grandma slice, square like a Sicilian slice but thin like a Neapolitan slice. Made with fresh mozzarella garlic and basil this Grandma is fantastic. I have tried their other pizza slices and I was not impressed. Their food is also quite good but when I crave a Grandma slice this is the place I go to.

We went in for a quick bite to eat for dinner during the week. This was the second time we’ve dined in. This time we ordered a few slices of pizza. My white slice was great, probably one of the best I’ve had and my hubby liked his food. He ordered a Sicilian slice and sausage roll. The guys behind the counter were nice, quick, and attentive. They always have good food whether it’s pizza, or their apps, and entrees. We love it!

A great slice! They have a good grandma slice and something called a grandpa slice which is a grandma with no garlic, but come on the garlic is the best part on the grandma slice. Plenty of seating in a newer building and also a more formal restaurant connected next door. Plenty of parking since it’s located in the complex by the parking garage.

One of my favorite pizza establishments in Queens, NY with traditional taste. A lot of places are making pizza and the NYC pizza taste has been lost due to GMO and cheap ingredients. Pizza Classico has maintained the same flavor that many places have fallen short on.

I have come to Pizza Classica about 3 times now because it is close, cozy, and convenient. I am not particularly impressed with their food, but they’re good enough to have regular customers. They offer a variety of pizzas and Italian-American dishes; pastas, eggplant parm, and fried calamari. Everything is pretty good, but definitely not the best I’ve ever had. I recommend their bread pudding dessert($ 7) and their white sangria($ 9).

I’ve been some pretty random places for pizza. A 20 minute walk from the subway in the Bronx, out by City Line(yes, that is a neighborhood) in Brooklyn, next to a gas station in Mount Vernon, etc. But a quality pizzeria literally underneath a Dress Barn? That’s another level. Pizza Classica is located in this random mini-mall in Forest Hills. The only reason I found this place is because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews here. It’s modern and well kept inside, with a long pizza counter along the right side with plenty of options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. After reviewing the options – including some great looking Sicilians – I ended up getting a Grandma slice. It could’ve been a bit crisper and there wasn’t much to the crust, but this was a good rendition of a newly-minted classic. The cheese was nice and fresh, and the lumpy tomatoes they used were flavorful as well. This wasn’t life-changing pizza but it was a very good slice served by people who give a shit. Kind of wish I tried a regular slice(my friends said it was good), but maybe next time. Definitely a good place to have in your neighborhood mini-mall.

I’d like to re-write my review for Pizza Classica and remove my previous reviews/updates because I felt like I didn’t give the guys here a fair shake. After looking back on my past reviews, I realized I was a bit unfair and overly nitpicking at the negative things. In all honesty, I’ve lived in Forest Hills for over 15 years and ever since Pizza Classica opened up, I was here from day one way before they expanded. Probably not as frequent as my sister when she lived here but I do come here often enough to say that they serve up good food. I’ve tried just about every pizza joint in our area and I’ve been coming to Pizza Classica the most out of all of them. Dani’s House of Pizza is good, they make a good crust but I truly hate driving through Kew Gardens’ shitty ass roads and then dealing with the hassle of looking for parking spot on a side street or on Lefferts Blvd. Nick’s pizza is floppy, Portofino’s is a jungle if you enter during the wrong time(kids from the catholic school across the street), and A&J is not even worth mentioning in my book. What I do and don’t like about Pizza Classica. Pros: The toppings are great. They really don’t cheap out on the customer when they request for toppings. Good cheese and good sauce. The sauce isn’t as sweet as Dani’s but it’s still a good sauce for sure. It’s nice and robust, it’s not too acidic or sweet. It hits the spot just right. After the renovations, they’ve created a great ambiance for a dine-in experience. Cons: The crust. I like the pizza but I just don’t like their crust. I find it too bready and soft. It’s not buttery or crispy. If it came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping, then that could probably change my mind but the crust for the way it is alone, it’s too soft and bland in my opinion. After coming to Pizza Classica for years and also shopping at Stop & Shop for years as well, I never used the coupons behind Stop & Shop’s receipt until recently! I always knew it was there, I just never thought of using it. A pal of mine also told me about their family special. I ordered it once and it’s well worth the price! Large pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks, salad, soda, garlic knots. You really get a lot for what you pay for, and on top of that, the coupon from Stop & Shop’s receipt still applies. It’s a deal you can’t refuse! Among the other things I’ve tried in here besides pizza are Linguini w/clam sauce, fried risotto balls, just about every specialty pizza they have on display, all of their rolls, steak sandwich, and more. Linguini w/clam sauce — Absolutely bangin’. This alone is worth coming for. The portion is reasonably large for it’s price and for the amount of clams it comes with! Like I said earlier, they do not cheap out on you when it comes to toppings! Fried rice balls — This stuff is fried crack. Asians love rice and fried stuff and they managed to bring the best of both worlds into one fried ball stuffed with rice and cheese. Crispy on the outside, mouth watering on the inside! Specialty pizzas — Grandma, buffalo, sicilian, and more. They’re all pretty good but it can get a little pricey when you get choosey and select too many different types of specialty pizzas for one meal. Chicken and Sausage rolls — Not a big fan of them and it doesn’t apply only to Pizza Classica. I find most rolls from most pizzerias to be dried out and bland. The good part about Pizza Classica, they give you a side of marinara for dipping which is really nice. Steak sandwich — I’ve ordered it once for my old man. He said he didn’t like it, I tried half of it and I agree. The bits of steaks in the sandwich were overcooked, dry and hard. Verdict — The top picks in my opinion if you want the best bang for your buck is their family special and their linguini w/clam sauce. That linguini w/clam sauce is dynamite! It beats every other linguini dish in Forest Hills and puts Portofino’s to shame for the price they charge for the portion they serve! The neighborhood seems to love PC and watching them grow over the years has been something amazing and special in this neighborhood. Several businesses in our area have closed and were replaced with Urgent care clinics while PC succeeded and expanded. My wife and I has chosen PC pretty much as our primary pizza stop and the service has improved significantly since the expansion.

This was my second time here. The first time I just grabbed a quick mushroom slice after shopping at A.C. Moore, which was delicious by the way. This time I actually sat down at a table in the back. First off, the place is clean and the service is great. The hostess and my waiter were both super friendly. My husband and I both ordered Panini’s. I ordered the grilled Lemon chicken with spinach, feta and I added avocado. My husband ordered the grilled steak, with mozzarella and sauteed onions. Both were delicious. Oh and we split a ceasar salad, which was also delicious. They are a little pricey as far as their entrees and pastas are concerned, but if it tastes anything as good as their Panini’s then I would splurge.

The restaurant is conveniently located in a plaza along with Stop & Shop, Petland, A.C. Moore and Chase Bank. Slices and rolls are displayed in the front. The dining area in the back was quaint and a fireplace display on the wall gave it a cozy feel. I usually devour the Buffalo Chicken slice and the Garlic Grandma slice. Both slices compliment each other. This time, I headed to the dining area and got the Avocado Salad including Penne alla Vodka with Grilled Chicken. The Avocado Salad was too plain and steep on the price of $ 12.95. The pasta blended nicely with the creamy sauce. The grilled chicken was sweet with balsamic flavor. Their garlic bread arrived warm and was great with the pasta. I would definitely come back for my favorite slices as mentioned and probably try the other pastas. The waitresses/waiters were friendly and accommodating as well.

The Quick: Pricey but fantastic Italian food that keeps you going back. The Details: Bring on the meats, cheese, and pasta– this restaurant serves real Italian restaurant that even my Nonna approves of. The pizza is fantastic with many different specialties slices and pies to fill any one’s desires. The chicken or veal entrees are also great… Almost everything has cheese and prosciutto, so you really cannot go wrong. We’ve never actually eaten at the restaurant but we order to go often and it always pleases even the most pickiest eater. The Damage: The entrees are very pricey. Each meat entrée was about $ 18– the portions are generous and it comes with Italian bread and a side of pasta(the marinara sauce is delicious). Between 5 people we ordered 4 entrees and paid $ 77 with tax(no tip, to go order).

Grandma pizza was great but if you don’t like garlic, I’d advise you not to get it. If you decide to sit down and dine, they have a similar version in the version of a mini pie. Calamari was good. A healthy serving. Mozz sticks are just mozz sticks. Had the lamb ragu fettuccine. If you like Earthy tasting ragu that’s homey and delicious, you should try it. Note the lamb is not minced. It’s almost like pulled lamb meat.
