I stopped in on Saturday afteroon with some friends for lunch. We all ordered drinks,(2 big apples, 1 sangria, and 1 mango margarita), all of the drinks tasted really good and were adequately strong, however, they are a bit expensive. In addition, we ordered some appetizers, I got the hummus, basil pesto hummus, and tzatiki with cucumubers, carrots, and pita bread. It tasted really good and was a decent portion. The bartender was really nice and split our checks(without any issues!). She was very approachable and helpful in terms of suggestions. I would suggest stopping in during happy hour!

If you don’t mind self service, this place is okay. We have spent countless weekends watching football here and have never had good service from the wait staff. We frequently take our empty glasses to the bar because the wait person just walks by ignoring them. And this is not an isolated incident– this happens every single time.

My coworker and I needed to find a place where the Cubs game was going to be playing. We ended coming here and we’re not disappointed. The game was playing on several TVs. :) And to our surprise, it was happy hour! Oh and on Tuesday’s its $ 1 burgers. We ended up at the perfect place for dinner. Our server was really nice. My burger was ok. My coworkers burger looked a lot better than mine. She ordered the buffalo blue. Overall, good atmosphere in WI during a Cubs game!

I like Bar Louie, I don’t get here too often but the portobello burger is my favorite go-to. Service is good, prices are decent, overall vibe is nice, I’m also a big fan of their balcony space. Kid friendly as well, wouldn’t hesitate to bring my siblings here at all.

This place is perfectly fine, but it is kind of a fancy stepped up applebees. It is a chain and I have never found anything that blows me away, but I am not disappointed. I never walk out of there thinking that the food was spectacular at any locations. I went for a later dinner with a friend. They didn’t have the best selection of liquor, but they had your standard big names(Like I said kinda like a applebees). I ordered the Chicken Nachos, and there was like 5 small cubes of chicken on the plate, so i was a little disappointed with that, but the rest of the toppings were pretty good. My friend and I couldn’t even finish the whole plate. We were a little concerned looking at our salt shaker and it looked like bugs were in there, but the waitress said it was pepper… seriously?! We weren’t convinced since none of the others had that(yes we looked at other tables) so we just didn’t use the shaker(but we didn’t need to). The service is pretty apathetic. Not friendly, but not rude… just kinda zombies.

This is a convenient location smack in the middle of Bayshore mall. With the mall comes tons of parking so that’s not an issue here. There’s a deal almost every day, we usually come for happy hour or on Tuesdays for $ 1 hamburgers. If it’s nice enough to sit outside we do, as you are on a balcony and can people watch below. The service is always on point and we are usually in and out and back to shopping without missing a beat. This location is right across the hall from the movie theater, making it a great place to eat before a movie. They have some healthy options, but even those don’t seem that healthy, hence the deduction of a star.

Luv their happy hour!!! Otherwise I think it’s a bit pricey($ 10 for a dbl tall absolute??? Huh??) Yup… come for happy hour. Half price«Martinis» and really good apps that I think are $ 5? Flat bread pizzas are pure awesomeness. 4 stars based solely on happy hour

Met a friend here on 7÷12÷15. I ordered the blackened fish tacos and was pleased. We chose balcony seating and it did not disappoint. Service was ok. We had to get the waitress’s attention a few times to order. The location is great as we were able to catch a movie across the hall when done with dinner.

I never understood why Bar Louie is so expensive for the amount of food you get. No disrespect to this location. Great service.

Truthfully, I have had a variety of different experiences here. The first time we came it was terrible service. It wasnt that busy and still we felt ignored for the most part. I practically had to jump up and down in front of the bar to get the bartender attention. Of course when we ordered a drink and than nachos she forgot about the nachos and by the time it was delivered it was cold. Nachos where still good but you know I have a feeling I would like them better hot. 2nd. time we came on the spur of the moment. We wanted to enjoy a nice warm day out on the patio. This time we had an awesome server who not only was attentive but knew all about the specialty drinks and made good suggestions. 3rd time we came. We met friends here from out of town. When we arrived it was off peak hours so it wasn’t busy. 6 of us grab a table. it took ages for a server to come out I mean literally one of us walked to the bar and asked for a waitress. If i had it my way we would have walked out and visited one of the many other bayshore establishments. Anyway waitress came out took our order. She was nice but not really engaging at all. No recommendations no suggestions. We got our drinks after we ordered in a timely matter but when they where all gone we had to wait an additonal 20 minutes before she even came back out to see if we wanted anything else. Too bad we where going to order food but honestly i think we all felt annoyed so we left after that and got food at Sprecher :) much better. So over all I feel like the service is exceedingly poor, the food is only ok(for what i have tried its your normal bar faire), and the place is rather expensive for what it is. If it wasnt for that 1 good waitress we had this place would be getting a 2 star review. Either way I have no desire to return.

Every time we come back to visit home, we usually make at least 1 stop to come to this Bar Louie location, either to meet up with friends or to just have a few drinks. Dollar burger night on Tuesdays is great. Yes, your burger ends up being more than a dollar, but the atmosphere is fun & the burgers are great. Wednesdays are also great, considering that’s when they have beer night. $ 1.25 domestic bottles(select) & $ 5.25 on signature martinis. I’m a martini girl, while my husband is a beer guy, so it works out well for us. Otherwise, their Mon-Fri, 4−7pm happy hour deals are great for apps. The last time we went, however, we were a little disappointed. The service was great and our waitress was attentive, the drinks were the problem. I had about 4 diva martinis and my husband had 5 jack & cokes, and we both didn’t even feel a buzz. My husband actually got a jack & coke that he swears had no alcohol in it, so he asked the waitress to make it a double and even that was weak. We didn’t go during happy hour, so we paid full price for the drinks, so it was a little frustrating. Our friends also mentioned that their drinks felt watered down. We’re not sticklers and we don’t need to be «drunk» to go out, but if I’m paying $ 10 for a martini, I expect it to taste like and be a martini, not just juice & ice. I can’t imagine they would water down their drinks purposefully. Perhaps I’ll just chalk it up to the economy. I guess it’s taken a toll on all of us.

I have always been a fan of the Bar Louie franchise. Food is consistent and the beer menu always has something I would love to enjoy. This was no different. Food was good, beers were plentiful and the waitress was really accommodating. My only complaint would be the background music was way too loud. It felt like I had to yell at my wife across the table.

Sorry this is my first review on Unilocal.#1 The host missed the fact that one of the three was pregnant she brought us to the high pub 4 round with stools. Then ran back to the front. We went back to the front to request a booth for comfort. It was a fun atmosphere, food was moderately over priced, that’s due to our expectation of warm freshly made fries with our sandwich and burgers. The fries are usually the first thing picked off the plate. If your basic French fry is too difficult to make right, you start your meal with doubts, Thank God the entrée saved the meal. Sending cold food back is just asking for bad karma. Stop offering fries that are made earlier in the day. It’s a big turn off. Sadly, McDonalds got you beat in that category. Food 2 Amb 3 Service 2 location 3 value 2

I usually wait until the 10th visit to put up a 5 star review since that will accurately assess my perfect score on an establishment. Great food and drink options with a laid back atmosphere and not too much noise are rare in this area. Bar Louie has it all: great deals — $ 1 burger Tuesday, $ 1 beer Wednesday, etc., great atmosphere, great crowd for sports games, and polite servers(mainly the stunningly beautiful and friendly Amber behind the bar). The mixed drinks are always on point. The beer selection is phenomenal. And the aforementioned dollar burgers are actually delicious(although toppings and sauce will run you extra). If you’ve never been here before, give it a try on a Tuesday and you will be hooked. I come here with friends for every Packers game since the crowd and staff members become family for 60 minutes.

I enjoy the atmosphere of Bar Louie. The drinks weren’t that great to me however. I ordered the non-alcoholic Blueberry mint lemonade and it was not the best. I reordered it without the mint and it just tasted like blueberry water. Also for their margaritas to be $ 10.00 they could be a bit better as well. The server we had seemed a bit busy.. . Perhaps adding another person to the staff would be great. Overall she was friendly and the food was great. I would recommend going on a Tuesday for $ 1 burger night.

I came here for dollar burger night because I know they have a portabella burger for me and 3 meat options for my boyfriend. Turns out they have a veggie patty, too, unlisted on the menu. As other reviewers have mentioned, the $ 1 burger includes just the burger and sparse lettuce. Everything else costs you extra: 75¢ for cheese, 50¢ for veggies, 25¢ for sauces. And you don’t get the deal unless you purchase a drink. Mine was about $ 3, and the pesto mayo made it pretty great. Everyone else’s burgers were so-so. My 20oz of miller lite cost me roughly $ 5.50, which was upsetting. I can’t imagine how much the other beers run. Overall, its fine, but it is definitely not worth the price outside of the specials.

What a great deal here during happy hour — Monday thru Friday. All wines are $ 4.25 per glass, $ 5.25 for martinis, ½ price appetizers, and flat breads! We happened to stumble across this and tried it out. 4 glasses of wine, 2 flatbreads(excellent), and a bruschetta plate — all for $ 34! We definitely will be back! Thanks, Kyle(our great waiter!)

I would never come here to actually eat(like for full-priced dinner), but the happy hour is outta this world!!! ~3 dollar beers, ~4 dollar glasses o wine and ~5 dollar martinis. That already appeals to practically anyone you;ve ever met(from wisconsin)!! I love a happy hour with food specials. It really warms my heart. They are good too! The flatbreads are fancy pizzas with good toppings– I always enjoy them. I’ve had better spinach artichoke dips before, but let’s get real, its melted cheese dip… hard to go wrong.

Is it me or do all the bartenders look like they worked at A&F back in their high school days? Drinking at Bar Louis is like deja vu. Ever.Single.Time. I can’t hate it because I obviously can’t stay away, but that doesn’t mean I love it either. I’ve started more nights with a BL’s happy hour than I’d care to admit. I’m a slut for a $ 5 martini.
