Starbucks

I come to this Starbucks whenever I’m in town visiting family. It’s convenient. Service varies. Some of the kids are very nice and efficient, some not so. Like several other reviews, the thing that always strikes me about this place is how dirty it is. The shelves are lined with stock and the condiments are always full, but the tables and the service area are a mess. I think some adult supervision would help. I’ll still come back because I like the coffee and the service is mostly good, but please wipe down a table once in a while.

Depending on the time of day you come here will determine how fast you will get your drinks. Today wasn’t a good day., came in for a caramel macchiato and it took about ten minutes. Still, not bad!
I got my fuel and I was good. I had the chicken artichoke panini and it was not good at all. Try it out and maybe you’ll like it. All I know is that it wasn’t for me

Do I write too many reviews of Starbucks?
Well, they’ve got us addicted to their quality (and highly caffeinated) coffee, but they are stunningly inefficient as a rule. If it weren’t for the promise of good cup of charged bean, I’d never frequent one again. Yet, shamefully, I do…
And this one is pretty okay! The staff is friendly and relatively efficient, although it rarely gets crowded enough to be an issue. There’s a moderate amount of seating, so you can get comfy if you’d like.
As for the product itself, it’s standard-​issue — which is why you go to Starbucks. If you can get in and out of a Starbucks at a reasonable pace, that’s what you’re looking for, and you can do so here.

been here a few times, went here for the halloween parade, memorial day so because of that always a busy times. lines very popular starbucks seems to get the lines done pretty quick. nice place to go in a small time to have a nice cup of coffee my fav is the java chip n the apple cider drink in the winter some times other times.

The people here are not friendly at all. I came to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee and the cashier gave me attitude because I gave her my order too quickly. My sandwich came out messy. There was cheese all over the paper bag. Maybe drop some of the attitude, people. It’s rude

The coffee and drinks are good here. The reason for 3 stars is the people that work there. They are not friendly! It’s coffee, people! Come on! Be happy! To work there.

This Starbucks is nothing special, but I’ve never walked into a Starbucks and been blown away. The drinks are good and as expected as long as the Barista hear’s you clearly. We had to have a drink remade because they sweetened one of our iced teas. No one was in a rush to make drinks even with an ever increasing line. Drinks are solid, service is slow but that’s just Starbucks in general.

Nice Starbucks in a quiet area. We came on a Saturday afternoon so there were just the usual high school girls and older couples sitting around relaxing. Nice people, nice place.

A very comfortable Glen Cove staple. Next door to the cinema. Plenty of nearby parking.

Ok I would like to start off w/​I love Starbucks coffee. But this particular store has a bunch of real winners working for them. I ordered my venti americano the guy that rang me up was an idiot. Couldn’t figure out how much change I should get back from $ 3.20 out of 10 dollar bill. I gave him a quarter and he replies uh I already rang up you up… He couldn’t figure out that he needed to give me back an extra dollar and a nickel. Sigh what is this world coming to?!

I’m not surprised by the good or bad reviews here as this location clearly has two tiers of customers.
I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks in a lot of cities and this is really the worst one I have ever been to. As reported by others, the place is a mess. The tables were all dirty and the staff person busily wadding more sweeteners into the already full containers was too busy to clear the dirty tables or wipe them down. But not to wander around holding a couple of paper napkins. Which he picked up rather than putting them in the trash bin. Which was overflowing.
The staff behind the counter were slow. They were, in fact, loud. As was the music. The counter staff also seemed to wander around a lot while people were waiting. They forgot to make my drink because they have a poor system of communicating tickets. Also, the person making things seemed really confused about how to make any drink except straight up coffee.
However, the staff seemed to know a lot of people by name. So, if you’re a regular or they like you, you seem to get concierge service. If they don’t know you, then, well… what did you order? why don’t we have your ticket? What?
I won’t be going back any time soon.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. This is by far the best Starbucks in the area. The employees are super friendly, WiFi is always up, and the drinks are made exactly as they should be.
I’m here a few times a week and have never had a poor experience. Maybe some people don’t understand that being a rude customer will get you a rude experience? Just a thought.

I’m shocked at the low rating of this location. I came here on one occasion while working on Long Island, and it was not a terrible, life-​altering visit. I ordered my coffee and pastry, and sat pleasantly by the window. I wasn’t the only seated guest, either. There were a few of us, and we all seemed to be enjoying our peace, quiet, and free WiFi.
The issues here seem to be about the staff, and while I can’t give the most educated review of them, I can say that they didn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth… at all.

It is only the starbuck’s coffee that pushes me through the door. The staff are slowand loud, and the place is a mess.

My coffee was prepared perfectly and the service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, this location gets uncomfortably crowded, so I wouldn’t hang around too often. I had one experience with clueless staff, but the baristas at my latest visit couldn’t have been better. Good location, too.
PS. Giving one star because the staff are somehow to blame for a customer having a bad day and caffeine withdrawal symptoms that result in the use of capslock is more than a little unfair.

I go to the Starbucks at Penn Station everyday and have zero problems but I come to the one in GC one day and they left a bad taste in my mouth. They didn’t want to honor the coupon I had which ok, fine I’ll go to another Starbucks but then when I ordered a grande hazelnut macchiato, I’m served a half empty caramel macciato which I didn’t discover until I was home. I kid you not half empty. Very disappointed, will be heading to Sea Cliff Starbucks for my coffee from now on.
