Chipotle Mexican Grill

I’ve been trying to put off writing a review for this location because I love chipotle and the company, but after the last few experiences I thought I would let everyone know. I place a lot of to go orders for this location because I work by this location and it’s easy to just pick it up. Every time I go inside to pick Up my order it’s either not done and I have to wait five minutes for them to finish or they make it way too early and it’s cold by the time I eat it. Don’t even bother going to store if you like their lettuce and cheese after 7 o’clock because they are ALWAYS out. They are also out of their soft served drinks but they will give you a refund on your drink if they don’t have the one you want. On the bright side of all of this, they do have friendly staff and will give you coupons if you are waiting too long for your to go order or they’ll give you a free drink.

Very unprofessional. We went in to get dinner and saw one of the male workers who had a beard not wearing a hair net while preparing and cutting food. They were out of guacamole which is understandable but not at 7:30 in the evening The staff was goofing around and weren’t listening to orders and also skipping people in line. Then when we went to go grab water and were not told that half the soda fountains were out of order including the water. Also the tables were very dirty no where to sit and eat.

With this location right by my house we eat here about once a week. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always courteous and quick. I once had to wait a few minutes for veggies to be grilled so they gave us free drinks! Excellent quality of service, reliably delicious food at a very reasonable price!

This is one of my favorite chipotle locations. They do a great job cooking the steak. Too many locations overcook their steak. They are always nice and courteous, and have taken care of me every time I go in.

Still Chipotle, they just never listen to what I’m saying. And it’s not hard to mess up a burrito when it’s set up like a line right? No. Not what it seems.

This chipotle was my saving grace yesterday! I went to my closest chipotle (location disclosed for the integrity of the establishment) and they were out of rice. I had never been so heartbroken. However, I got and my car and drove until I could find the next closest chipotle and this one was it! Not only was the service super friendly, it was also speedy quick and the ingredients were so fresh! Thank you chipotle for always being there when I need you!

Had the Chicken Burrito with white rice, pinto beans, salsa & sour cream. Quick service in the preparation of the food. Cashier pleasant. Presented my «Free» chips & guacamole coupon with purchase.
Burrito for $ 7.01 total with tax-​NO DRINK was a small size for the cost. Chips & Quac average tasting.
I would be happier going to Filiberto’s & getting a bigger burrito without the fillers for a better price. Sorry Chipotle: I’m just not a big fan.

The service here was great except at the register. Otherwise, the food is great and has a reasonable price.

At one point, I at there every day!
I always get a cheese Quesadilla with white rice and black beans. The staff is very customer-​friendly and work hard to make your experience enjoyable. They often have my order ready to go once I reach the counter.
Sometimes the lines can be long around meal times, but the people behind the counter can move them along pretty quickly.

So yummy! Never disappointing!!! And I love that they are open until 10 pm. The staff is always helpful and friendly! Thanks for always being some yummy!!!

July 27, 2015 around 11:30 a.m. This was our first time dining at this location and first time with my son who has many food allergies. I was very skeptical to try Chipotle but based from people I know who has allergies as well, they are highly recommended. And so we did… and we were not disappointed! As soon as I told the staff that my order for a person with allergies, they asked what allergies (that’s the best way to start) and told me what they are going to do which included wiping down the counter, washing hands, changing gloves and replacing the serving spoons with new ones. All the staff during this time were very aware and did not seem to mind the extra «task» they have to do. Thank you for not making this a traumatic (medical) experience for us. We will be back and I hope you don’t mind =)

How difficult is it to keep the drink machines loaded???
I took twice as long to finish my meal waiting for the iced tea container to be refilled which never happened. Other drink options were also empty. Then I had to put up with a totally unprofessional, obviously unqualified, manager who was shocked when I asked for a refund. It would have been nice had he at least apologized for his staff’s ineptitude. I guess it’s just too much to ask!

I am not one to normally complain about my food.
I work in the mall and used to visit chipotle quiet often. Flavors started to be inconsistent way too often, so I stopped going. I decided today to give it a try. I ordered a cheese quesadilla to go. I walk right up to the register and she asks, «just the chicken quesadilla?» I was a little frustrated, I prefer their quesadillas with no meat. I said, «actually, I had asked for just cheese but it’s fine.» She tells me she can tell him and have him remake it. I replied no it was fine, I just didn’t want to be charged for the meat. She charged me just for cheese.
While waiting for it to cook, I saw the same gentleman that made my food, playing with the rice. It looked like to me he was trying to see how big of a scoop of rice he could make. I’ve worked in the food industry. Not the smartest thing to do in front of people eating the food you’ve been playing with.
These are new kids since the last time I visited. I would just like them to know, and teach the employees making food to pay more attention. I did not see a manager around, or I would have spoken with them. I’m not mad, just think there needs to be a manager around to check on the guests, especially if someone has a concern made to the receptionist.

We typically go to the S Gilbert location and decided to give this one a try. We went on a Friday around lunch time and the line wasn’t awful and moved very quickly. The staff was pleasant and didn’t skimp on the portions. This location is very clean and had a great outdoor seating area that’s perfect for people watching since it’s around a shopping area. Needless to say, this is our new favorite location!

I give up! When I go in (between 5pm — 6pm) on a weekday it’s never a line BUT they don’t have white rice or they they are out of peppers and onions or chicken. They have a bald guy who works there who is rude. I won’t go back to this location, I come in as a customer who is real chill and polite and it’s no need to take your day out on me.

Where do I start? My love for Chipotle has been stronger than titanium is. Ever since I first took my bite into that juicy delicious burrito my life has been filled with happiness. I recently went to chipotle and ordered a burrito bowl with the heavenly chicken, black as night beans, brown rice that comes from the fields of dreams, along with amazing mild salsa, a touch of white cloud sour cream and the sweetest corn salsa, topped with the finely chopped green lettuce. I was in aw when I had this burrito bowl. Chipotle is not only cheap, but extremely filling. The portions could fill a hill giant. Thank you for always being there for me Chipotle. :)

Terrible service and handling of food at this location. We love chipotle and have given this location multiple chances. If this was the first or only location we would never go to Chipotle again. There are many locations nearby that are safer to eat at. DO NOT GO TO THIS location. Service manager Isaac and General manager Jessica are of little help.

Customer service was great. Everyone was doing their job the way it should be done. Price is reasonable and the food was fresh and tasty. We will be back.

Not real complaints about this place, though, I wish you could buy a half order. My husband and I always split one bowl as neither of us can eat a whole bowl. Not a big deal, but if I went by myself, then I would need to take leftovers home, which, in this heat, not good to leave food in the car if you have errands to run.
So prices is my only thing. You basically if you only got a bowl, you’d be spending in the $ 7 – 8 range. For families, this can get expensive, if you include drinks, add guacamole, and chips. But, that is a lot of food.
So, for our family of 5 today, we spent about $ 40, but that’s only because my husband and I shared, but the kids did not. Those little piggies. j/​k.
The place was pretty busy and it came in waves of busyness. They seemed to be fairly organized and we got through the line quickly as did the other people.
This place is located at the end of the San Tan Outside Mall by Barnes and Noble. We’ve been here a few times in the past year and they are consistently good. It had something for everyone, including my daughter’s vegetarian friend. Though, i think a vegetarian bowl or burrito should cost less than the meat ones or at least more less.
