Well ordered the strawberry coffee cheesecake and this is what they bring me… Thankfully they took it off our tab but I was still pretty disappointed considering this is the only thing I ordered.

I had country meal and it was ok. The chicken was little on my chicken and biscuits but the biscuits were huge. The bacon was good in all but the hash browns were over cooked. The best thing there was there scrambled eggs which was great. I find it hard for me to go back to that place.

I am definitely a fan of breakfast. Probably one of my favorite meals of the day. Every time I come here the actually get my meal right. Well, more than most anyway.
I like my eggs over medium and for some reason most cooks across the country have no idea what the difference between over easy and over medium is (slightly runny white compared to white fully cooked, how hard is that?). Pretty simple to me, but most get it wrong. Here, the get it right every time.
I would be much happier if they would get my has browns right every time. The quite often do, but not always. I like them crispy. I don’t want a light brown on one side and mush the rest of the way through (yea, I know. I’m picky about some things).
The service is always nice and fast as well as very helpful and the place has been clean every time I come in.

I have been a fan of this Perkins for many years. There are many reasons such as friendly people who always great you with a smile. The variety of food they serve includes everything from breakfast to appetizers to lunch items, the freshest
salads, wonderful chicken noodle soup, dinners of all kinds and wonderful bakery items.
On my most recent visit they took great
care of me and my server even brought me a drink refill to go!

The Perkins on Germantown Road is pretty good not a five star but OK. The blueberry multi grain pancake platter with turkey sausage and eggs is a pretty good choice. Everything was presentable the fruit was fresh the turkey sausage very tasty. The eggs and sausage were hot and freshly prepared. However, the pancakes were a little cold and also need to wipe off the syrup bottles and their handles. The service was great fast and efficient. Our server came over four times to take orders and check on how we were. The atmosphere is pleasant warm and inviting the restaurant dining area was clean and neat. But the bathrooms were super dirty that’s it.

Perkins is the place that has comfort food that you enjoy. Their interpretation of a Philly sandwich is spot on. Wish the brought back the Frisco Melt though. I don’t always drink coffee, but when I do, it helps their tables are stocked with flavored creamers. Their pies are a guilty treat, and wether you’re into breakfast, lunch or dinner, their dishes are good.

Great breakfast during the thanksgiving holidays. We ate their twice last week for breakfast. Ms. Donna provided great service and the food was prepared to our liking. We made a mistake and didn’t eat here on Friday morning. I will definitely visit again.

Have been multiple times and after a visit last week, I wanted to write a review about how much we enjoy going there. Staff was terrific. (I think our waitress was Mary and she was super.) Omelet, fruit salad cup, pancakes were all great. We had a fly bothering us that we didn’t like so I would suggest to management to deal with that.

I was thoroughly impressed! I visited this Perkins Easter Sunday morning… and they were BUSY! However, I was seated very quickly and within a couple of minutes I had been greeted by my waiter, Gary, who immediately took my drink order. As I looked around the restaurant, I realized that every employee in the restaurant was hustling, working hard, and speaking to the customers. Tables were cleared immediately. The managerial team was dressed very professional and had their team clicking. My order was taken within a few minutes and the wait for my food was less than ten minutes. When it arrived, it was just the right temperature. The brioche french toast was probably the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend this particular Perkins.

I mean… it is Perkins… My friend and I got a hankering for breakfast food at night.
This location served good food that was quick and hot. I got the chicken biscuits with eggs, hasbrowns and bacon. It was tasty. But even though the food was good, it is still just Perkins. It is exactly what you think it is.
If you want a good standard, stop on by.

While this is one of there better locations here I still only give it a four star review. What can you say, Its perkins. Good food nice place, but its just that, its perkins. Its a «that place is is good I will go back». Its not a dude you gotta go here place. Its your average good place to eat, thats it.

I agree with the other reviewers, this is definitely the best Perkins in the area. This is another one of those places I’ve been coming to since I moved to Memphis in 95, and the service and quality have not declined at all since then. It’s great news especially since several Perkins locations have closed, not just in Memphis but around the country.
In terms of chain places that make a big deal about their breakfast, they have the best freaking French Toast. Their pancakes are good too of course. I’ve been told they have good omelettes, but I hate eggs so I’ll have to take others’ word for it.
I also love their salads since they’re one of the few places that still has French dressing (hi, I’m still six I guess). Their veggies are good too, yummy carrots, green beans, corn…
The service here is also great. Everyone here is wonderful, but I always try to get Mona if I can. She’s so sweet.

Whenever I am feeling down and blue, I stop in for some of their yummy french toast and all is right with the world again. Or maybe its just my taste buds and my tummy that feels better but its so good, it feels like the world is brighter. :)

You would think a Perkins is a Perkins, but no. When I grew up in Buffalo they were all good, but not so in this area. I have since come to learn the Perkins in Collierville is independently owned, while the Perkins in Germantown (this review) is corporate owned. It appears this makes a difference.
We’ve tried both, and the Germantown Perkins is far superior. The food quality is always better, the service is FAR better. They even have more soft drink choices. Despite their menu it’s not «home cooking», but they do have a few tasty options. Their «Butterball Turkey Dinner» is one of my favorites, if you don’t want to make a Turkey at home it’s a nice choice.
While we don’t want Perkins often, we drive to the Germantown location when we do, and that says something. If you want Perkins good, this is the place to go in the area.
