Loving Paws – In Home Euthanasia Service

We sent our sweet Diesel on ahead of us on July 23^rd, 2015. He was a beautiful Great Dane, and my best friend. I was honored to love him for 12 years. From the first difficult phone call to Loving Paws, they were kind beyond words. They worked with us to schedule the most difficult emotional day of my life, and did it with compassion. Dr Westbrook was perfectly professional, sincere, and appropriately detached. She was present but allowed me and my family to feel almost alone with Diesel when he was lifted up and taken away by what I am sure were Angels. I will be forever grateful. Thank you for your services.

So glad we called Dr. Westbrook to put our little doggy to sleep; it made a heartbreaking time somewhat easier and a lot less stressful. Doing it at home was peaceful, calm and private –not rushed. There was no waiting for a vet in a waiting or exam room, no hearing other dogs barking or Unilocaling in the next room, no explaining to multiple people the reason for the visit as could happen in a vet’s office. I was able to hold my dog while I sat on the couch during the whole process; she will perform the procedure wherever is comfortable for you and your family. She gave him two injections and monitored him closely the whole time. She did not remove the body, as we opted for our own burial.
Dr.Westbrook is very kind and compassionate and she did whatever would make us all most comfortable. She has a great way with people and with dogs. I liked her immediately — even over the phone (by the way, she answered her own phone when I called initially to make the appt). We laughed a little and cried too. She reassured us about our decision that is was time. Before leaving, she made a pawprint impression for us to keep and answered all our questions. She was truly a blessing during this sad time.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Westbrook. Her compassion and professionalism made a very difficult day for our family go as smoothly as possible. She is so kind and so understanding. She really took her time and talked with me and my children about exactly what was going to happen. She also made clay paw prints for both of my children to keep to remember our cat Mojo. We really wanted our cat to pass at home and not a clinic and I am so glad I found her website. I feel so much better knowing Mojo got to pass away at home with us around him. I can’t thank her enough!
