Crystal Car Wash & Kwik Kar 10 Minute Oil Change

First of all this place is an absolute dump, the waiting area has been gutted and there’s probably 8 chairs max. When we pulled in we were greeted by the greeter, I told her I wanted the regular oasis wash and vacuum $ 17, she then proceeded to ask if I’d rather have the deluxe wash with tire shine $ 21, I said no thanks just regular wash. Then she asks cash or credit, I said credit, ok I can check you out right here, she pulls out a busted up phone with a swiper attached, she swipes it and asks if I would like a receipt, usually I say no, but this time I requested one, I look at the receipt and she went ahead and charged me the $ 21 wash, I said you charged me for the deluxe, I only wanted regular, she replied, oh I did, let me get the manager, she takes 2 steps turns around and said the manager won’t be able to do anything, I don’t make scenes but she knew by the look on my face I wasn’t happy. The other workers do decent work, but I will NEVER come back, I usually go to Mi-​T Fine and never have an issue. Save yourself and go to a more respectful establishment.

Great experience. Though this is now an Oasis car wash my paperwork still said Crystal car was but my CC receipt said Oasis. It was just a hair over $ 30 for an oil change and wash with tax. It was far and away more than my expectations for the price. Inside and out wash. I will definitely return.

do not go here and get your car washed, if you do, lock up your valuables. my wedding ring was stolen out of my ashtray by the thieves that work there.

I live down the street in Eastern Hills Country Club– and this was a quick, close alternative to the Hyndai dealership I usually use. I have been here before for oil change, car wash, and car detail with no difficulty. The car wash and maintenance people are very nice, friendly, and will be good to you.
The inside manager, however, will prevent me from ever coming back to this facility– no matter how close it is to my house.
In the waiting room, the chairs are FILTHY and there is mouse poop all over the back counters near the commercial posters.
When it was finally time for me to check out, I came up to the service counter, and the manager ran my credit card. It didn’t go through and so he kept swiping it– 4 times total– and I have the «error» rcpts. Then he was SO rude to me and said «your card isn’t working.» I gave him my debit card, which was same bank, and of course it was rejected since I knew my account was going to be frozen after the 4 swipes. I offered to pay by check but he told me he doesn’t take check and he isn’t giving me my car until I pay. I did not imply that I was going to pay him. The bill was only 52 $ and he was acting like I was going to stiff him! So I called my credit card 800 number and they told me they froze my card because it was swiped 4 times in a row. I repeated this to the manager and he said «No, it’s YOUR CARD.» So the credit card people said the initial swipe was a user error from Crystal CarWash and since it was swiped 4 more times (5 including my debit– same company) — they froze it as suspcious. Quite frankly, I’m glad they did and were paying attn! So the manager was SO mad at me because my card didn’t go through and starting taking other customers around me with all of my stuff out on the counter. I was trying to cover up my registration and car title and insurance card information that was all out on the counter but people started reaching over me while the cashier told them my card wasn’t working! (as in I did something incorrectly). My creditor stayed on the phone with me and issued an over-​ride for my card and the manager swiped it again and when it went through he said «SEE, It’s YOUR card NOT my machine.» I could not have gotten out of there soon enough.
While I was on the phone, on hold, waiting to be serviced, another woman came in after me with a pre-​paid debit/​mastercard (the kind you buy or get as gifts from the grocery store). She said she wanted to get a car wash but wanted to make sure she had enough money left on her card. He was SO rude to her and said «I don’t take these things» — «you don’t even have id or your name on it at all. you could have stolen this!» and told her to get out of there. The woman just stood there with her mouth open shocked and took her card and left. When she left, this manager sat there and was saying (to his friend next to him) how she was trying to pull a fast one over him and probably just stole someone’s card and wanted to see what she could get out of it.
I was so appaled at this behavior– This place has good deals, good prices, and the blue collar mechanics and car washers seem very nice (and very over-​worked). But this is not the professional, customer service (even minimal at the least) that I would want from a business. I was also embarrased at the way this man kept telling people «my card doesn’t work.»
Kudos to Bank of America Visa for putting a RED alert on a business mis-​use.
