Unless you are renting a condo, most hotels, and motels on the coast ask you not to cook crab in the rooms. With good reason, stuff can stink up a room for months.
$ 4.99 lb already cooked Dungeness crab,
Cooked that day, and probably only 30 minutes before you get it.
Doesn’t get much better, unless you got 2 dozen oysters like we did.
A must stop during crab season.

We wanted fresh crab during our stay on the Oregon coast and didn’t know where to go, so we asked a local at a coffee shop in Tillamook. He pointed us here. That day, the shop had fresh crab. Some were live, some cooked. The cooked crab was caught two days earlier — you can’t get fresher than that unless you catch it yourself! The price was the same for cooked vs live, so we opted for cooked and had them wrapped for our drive back to Cannon Beach. Best dinner I’d had in a while!
