We had such a great time here! We went on Valentine’s Day night and our bartender was phenomenal. Not only was she the bartender, but she was the cook, busser, server. She was efficient and kept everyone’s drinks filled and food plates delicious! We ordered the wings and cheesy fries and holy cow they were delicious! Such a great place for pool, drinks and bar food when you come from out of town. We will definitely be back next time we come out this way!

Well. The place was nearly empty, yet the waitress seemed flustered and unable to handle the«crowd» of approximately 8 people. She seemed almost annoyed that we entered and added to her stress.

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced! We walked in and were not greeted, the two women behind the bar looked at us multiple times but we’re too busy talking too bring us a menu or take our drink order. I went and ask for menus after about 15 min, we waited another 10 min after we had decided on our order and still no one had even greeted us or asked about our order! We got up and left and we will not come back! I also will let my friends know not to waste their time with this place! I would leave negative stars if possible!

They had a very fun band and the staff there was very friendly. I ordered a red beer on tap which tasted so bad I couldn’t drink it. I then ordered an IPA. Same thing. Clean your taps!!! I didn’t drink either. Maybe I’m a beer snob coming from the beer oasis of Eugene. I thought I might get sick if I had drank either.

The Ghost Hole is a friendly place located in Garibaldi. It’s also the only bar from Rockaway through Tillamook that’s open from midnight to 2:30am. So if you’re looking to go out, any day of the week, and your in Tillamook, Bay City, Garibaldi, Oceanside or Rockaway, this is the only bar open late. The staff’s all really nice, and super professional, the grill stays on pretty late. The Pork Rinds aren’t on the menu, but they’re really really good! Pear Whiskey! OMG. Nuff said about that, order a shot! Watchout for the male bartender though, I ordered a shot of that not to long ago and he added cran… why? I don’t know, but it’s not a shot once you go pouring juice in it, a fact he disagreed with. Anyway, all of the late night bartenders are a lot of fun. Foods great, a bit more upscale than most coastal bars. There’s kareoke a couple nights a week, Saturdays for sure. The best part in my opinion though is the backyard patio. There are water features, tables, it’s just beautiful! They don’t take orders out there, but you can smoke, so give and take there i guess. I don’t smoke so I’d rather they took orders ;). They could also really benefit from live music. The bar has a pool table, video poker machines and chalk that you can write on the walls with in the ladies room.

The bartender was hilarious, and he’s great! Love that guy… But DON’T ORDERPIZZA! WORSTPIZZAEVER. Imagine cardboard with a funky taste, bad sauce, bad toppings. Totinos pizza from grocery store still frozen, would be better. I feel bad about writing this, because the bartender was so cool, but that’s not pizza. We were starving, and couldn’t finish three slices. Sad. The box tasted better than the pizza. Go here for drinks and entertainment… Eat somewhere else.

Suppose it’s review time, stopped in last night 4÷10÷15 and it wasn’t too terribly busy. The Karaōke was in full swing and my bf got up and there and did his share. The KJ seemed like a really nice mellow guy. I really enjoyed burning a couple of hours here. Interesting and unique décor. Love when we find a place like this. Bartender was very friendly and on top of it(cute too) but I digress. BF had the burger, which I photographed and I had the fries with aujus dip(that comes with the French Dip.) One of the few place if not the only that is open late. At least until after midnight, which is plus in a small town. I really enjoyed that. Would come back again, food and entertainment good and just short walk from wherever you might be staying. Enjoy!

Friendly bar/grill right on the main drag. Had a very good fish sandwich with homemade potato salad while sitting outside on a large patio in the sun. Quite enjoyable and worth a return visit next time passing through.

There was some degree of snickering when your group rolled up to the ghost hole — I mean, come on, it’s called the«ghost hole» — but Ray can’t keep his shit together, even now, when you’re around other people. «Ghost hole,» he giggles, «fuckin’ ghost hole -« You’re pretty sure you saw some ears perk up, and the salty-looking locals at the bar don’t really seem like the types that would appreciate Ray’s kind of humor. The bartender doesn’t seem to mind though, as he walks your food order over to your table, balancing a fairly impressive number of fish and chips and burger baskets in his arms. It’s not the best burger, but you weren’t expecting the best — all you wanted was a place to sit down and relax after 4 hours of driving, and you know what? You found it. The burger is fine. The fries are also fine. The fish is also fine. You’re really pretty okay with everything, actually, and you glance around at the nautical decorations as Ray giggles his way through variations on the ‘ghost’ theme. «Ghost burger with ghost fries. Ghost basket. Haunted fish and chips!» Oh boy. Here comes a particularly big dude, wanders his way over to the table, leans in a little closer than you’d expect. Is this guy gonna be trouble? You’re going to kill Ray once you get him back in the car. «Hey. You all got any tattoos?» …what? You stare as Ray and the newcomer both extend their arms, revealing unreasonably similar vulture tattoos. How — is this really happening right now? Oh yes, of course, now Mister X and Ray are best friends. You take another swallow of beer and stare on in wonderment. «Have a good night,» he says, before sauntering on out the door. Yeah okay. This is the Ghost Hole.

Hadn’t been to this establishment for years because of bad food and service, but saw decent reviews, so we thought things can change. Thought we’d give it another try. The place was cleaned up. Décor was cute, kind of industrial, yet rustic. The waitress promptly took our drink order, then entrée order when she brought out our beers. Then, nothing… 45 minutes went by and she asked if we wanted the burgers brought out now or with the pizzas. There were 6 in our party(2 pizzas, 2 burgers, 1 side salad) Of course, we want all of our entrees at the same time! After 1 hour, the burgers arrived, the pizzas 10 minutes later, then the salad. No asking if we wanted more to drink, nothing. Burgers were over cooked, lettuce wilted, buns dry. Like they had been under a heat lamp. The pizzas… Frozen crust, metallic tasting sauce, greasy toppings. Again over cooked. Frozen microwave pizza from the grocery store must be better. The salad was wilted and dressing was watery blue cheese. The waitress never checked back, with only 4 other customers in the restaurant she obviously wasn’t too busy. We finally went up to the bar to pay($ 50 for 1 medium pizza, a side salad, and 2 beers. Really?). We will not return!

Absolutely not worth it. Rude to out of towners and it’s basically just a dive bar. Pass and go next door to Hook Line & Sinker.

Good food, full bar… no one under 21 allowed, which I really like. Typical bar inside, also had patio seating. The staff is limited, so you got to make things happen, but they do take care of you and get you your food fast. Burgers were good. Everything priced fair.

After spending much of the Fall season driving by this place, I was dying to get in and check it out. Me and my girl finally stopped in for some burgs n’ beer. The dark wood slats and cool«Ghost Hole» signage right in the heart of Garibaldi had piqued my interest for too long. There was a nice L-shaped bar and circular tables surrounding a few support beams in the middle of the room with people watching the game on one of the many TV’s hanging above. We chose a table over near the windows facing the street. They had some folding tables and chairs tucked back in the corner and a vacuum cleaner along with some other knick-knacks which were sort of a visual let-down at first. The food was great and service was great! The burger was served on a plate full of fries and other fixings with a knife straight down through the middle. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection on a doughy roll made right across the street at the local bakery. I had a nice, tall, cold draft accompanying my food as usual. There was just one little girl working behind the bar, but she was right on top of everyones service and constantly looking over to see if we needing anything. Well done on her part! This is a great place to warm up after a day out fishing on the bay or even if just passing through on your way along the coast.

I drove by the Ghost Hole last weekend and really wanted to go in, but alas, we were short on time. So, a week later, popping in was priority numbah one! Matt E and I decided to extend the Patio Tour to the Coast, and the Ghost Hole boasts an awesome one. They had a lovely garden patio, with a fountain, lovely flowers, a stage I assume is used for live music, and a BBQ. I’ll bet the Ghost Hole gets crackin’ at night, every booze hound in the town is probably there. I had the veggie burger(classic Gardenburger variety) and fries, Matt E had a real burger with super thick-cut pepper bacon and cheese. We were starving and sat and mowed down those burgers like it was our last meal on earth. The fries were awesome. The onion rings were not-so-good, but that’s ok. Noteworthy were the burger buns, and the waitress let us know they were from the bakery right up the street. Coupla burger plates, coupla brewskies, we were outta there for around $ 20. Really friendly people, too! Best non-food part of the meal was eavesdropping on the table behind us, peeps were planning what is sure to be an awesome swingers party, soundtrack to which was promised to be Peter Tosh, Keb Mo’, and Taj Mahal: HOT. Ghost Hole: facilitating burgers, pizza, and love connections at the coast since 1990-something…
