This place is so hidden its awesome though! Great place to come alone… if you’re not into the karaōke. Although its there if thats you’re cup of tea. The two ladies behind the bar are welcoming the two times I’ve been here even though I walked in looking nothing like a korean. Cons: They can’t make a great array of mixed drinks. Overall I say its a great place to come and have one or two drinks max… then it seems the scenario becomes a bit dull.

I pass by the place all the time on my way home from work. The sign is in Korean so I had no idea what it was, but from the outside it looks like a dive bar. After work on a Sunday evening I was feeling adventurous and thought I would check the place out. I walked in, and it turned out to be one of those famous/infamous hostess bars you hear things about. I was the only patron there, I guess they had just opened. The décor was nice and it was clean inside. It didn’t look at all like the dingy bar I was expecting it to be. They have karaōke with fully enclosed semi-private rooms(it’s all glass, half of which is tinted) on one side and a bar on the other. The music they played was mostly K-pop, but the girls told me they had English music too. There were two young girls working. They were fairly pretty and were dressed nicely. Nothing crazy like lingerie or bikini’s. I sat at the bar and had a couple beers. The girls were very welcoming and hospitable. I drink at the Viet lounges in the area from time to time, I got much better service at Rendezvous. The girls were very pleasant and much more willing to pay attention to you and socialize. The two bottles of Heineken I got were $ 8 each. I understand that’s to be expected from a place that’s trying to be upscale in the atmosphere and the level of service they provide. However, it still seems pretty steep considering the very same neighborhood is saturated with places where you can pay half the price or less without getting proportionately less service, quality of women, or atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience. I’m just not a fan of $ 8 for a very common bottled beer, but if you’re ever in the mood for table service I suggest you give the place a try. *Price I was quoted was $ 350 for a bottle of Crown Royal served with a fruit in one of the glass rooms
