Talk about a love/hate relationship with this place. I love the food here. They have one of the best Hue foods for catering. We love ordering all sorts of dishes for large parties. I hate the service here. We placed the order 1 week in advance. Then on the day of pickup, I called in 2 hours prior to remind them of the order and ask to have it made on time since we have to drive to San Diego. Of course they said yes it’ll be ready. Guess what? We had to wait an extra hour upon pickup because it wasn’t ready. They are late delivering each and everytime. *** Dearest Huong Giang, I bow down and accept your bad service! I will continue to order food from you and continue to be dissapointment by your false time promise each any everytime. I can’t live without your food, hence I will commit to the misery and sacrifice of having your food. I promise to love and hate you until there be a better. Sincerely, Fred

The rudest service I’ve ever encountered. I just can’t believe people can have a business and be this rude. Oh forget about pre ordering for a party. They will doodle a pointless note and hand it to you that makes u think that you’ve got it down for the party date. However they don’t keep any record for themselves that you’ve ordered it. This happened to me. When I came in on the day of the party they told me they are running out of cha hue and just like that no apology what so ever.

This place do not deserve a single star, if i could give them a thousand negative stars i TOTALLYWOULD!!! They think they’re so good they don’t need customers. My family came from San Jose and ordered 100 nem and 100 cha around 9:30. The man on the phone said we can pick up at 12. We came around 11:20 he said its not ready yet so we left and came back a little bit after 12. LORDANDBEHOLD he said to my parents in cold tone«dont have them and dont know when we’ll have them» NOTEVENANAPOLOGY. WHEREISYOURMANNER??? I’ve never seen anybody does business like this place. Soon enough nobody will come here becuz no matter how good your food here is ANDTHEYRENOT F**** AMAZING, food here is just at a 7/10, respect is still what keep your business in business. There was a lady at the store the same time with us, she called for a few orders for her party at 12, came twice and got the same rude response like us. Last words, this is the place that you do not want to come if you don’t like being treated like you’re begging for food. Hopefully there will soon be another place open for the same kind of food with better service so this place could close their doors with shame.

Cha the hue is pretty good. When you order a large quantity they had it frozen, so it’s good for going the distance with it. This is the place to buy if you travel to little Saigon.

I don’t expect great service from Vietnamese or any Asian places but they are flat out rude. When I called in to place my order i ignored the fact that they didn’t even let me finish my order and hung up without a bye or anything. Came in to pick up and the man just looked at me with no acknowledgement. I told him I was there to pick up and he turned his back on me. Another nice man in glasses helped me. In terms of food, the egg rolls were over cooked. I mean we’re talking about dark close to black. The Fish sauce was watered down. The mi xao was disgusting and bland. It’s like everything was just tossed together. We only ordered from them because of its popularity. So we wanted to give it a try. Not coming back.

Never order this) Egg roll Goi mit Hen suc banh trang Goi sua tom thit To be picked up att 4pm. Came there at 3:30pm, waited till 4:30pm to be pick up. People there gave some of my trays awayy to people who walk in. People who walk in gets their food trays much faster than people who ordered ahead of time. This might be the last time I order from here

LOOOOOVE coming to this place! Thing to ABSOLUTELY get is: Banh cuon thit nuong!!! A party tray size is $ 20 for twenty good sized rolls. Not feeling that hungry? Buy their $ 8 tray which is filled with the ENDS of the banh cuon thit nuong roll. Not as much meat, but it’s still very tasty. only drawback is that they dont give you that delicious sauce that usually comes with it. I guess you can buy it. Last time i tried to request it, and they just gave my nuoc mam… my Viet is horrible! ha Thit nuong is pork btw not beef. But it’s so deliciously seasonsed with sesame seeds, sesame oil, lemongrass, freen onions, and fried onions that it won’t matter what animal it came from! Workers here are mostly nice??? The men working the front def are! The ladies working the food… eh, not so much! Funny dudes though! If you don’t want partay size, go next door, they offer the full menu at meal portion sizes!

The chã óc is delicious. Nem is ok, not spicy & sour enough and too much pork skin. Cha oc is $ 1each, nem is $ 0.50 each

Good luck with getting your food in the time they say it will be ready. These guys are so disorganized with the orders. Phone ordered and pick up time is 20 mins, show up 35mins later so they have extra time and food not done. Must have gave my order to someone else and just started making it as I asked for it. Never again!

Rude rude rude! They are lucky my parents like their cha lua and nem chua for me to have to Ignore this type of behavior. I call them to order for pick up before we head back to the Bay Area and this guy who answers the phone is always in a hurry to hang up on me before I’m done asking him questions and it’s not a stupid question or anything it’s like– how much is my f;$&in order gonna cost and do you accept credit cards or only cash?!? He hangs up on me before I get a straight answer on my total so I can go to the bank and he’s all– you have called 3 times this morning, what do you want? Mind you the first time was to order, 2nd time was to add to the order and ask for my total $$ and cash credit question but he hung up on my and my 3rd time he says this crap! Ugh– per Stephanie Tanner(from Full House show for those who are not fans but I don’t know anyone who’s not a fan) «HOWRUDE!»

Horrible service, I have pre-ordered Cha Oc from them 2 days in advanced and told them that I will becoming to get it in two days. They took down my number incase anything would happen. So on the day I was supposed to go pick up my Cha Oc, they were closed for some reason. I have called their number that was provided on the window, but no one answered. They never gave me a call or a heads up, the next day I came in they said that they never took down my order or anything. They also never apologize or anything. Unbelievable and pathetic.

My favorite place to order quick bites for parties such as the egg rolls and he shrimp rolls. YUM! I always order the banh bot loc and cha hue here for family and for my freezer when I need some chewy banh bot loc goodness in my life or cha for my BBH.

I was supposed to pick up my food at 11. Arrived there around 11:03 and have to wait half fucking hour just for them to made it. Seriously, what is the purpose of call in forward to order. I wish I could give them 0 star!

If I were to rate the food it would be 5 stars but the service is so crappy that it went all the way down to 1 star. Employees ignore you and service other people first even when you came before them. They do not know how to organize lines or anything like that.

When you have a ginormous family like mine, you need a lot of food around… even if it’s not an official«party» but just a gathering. To supplement our spreads, we often order bulk Vietnamese dishes … the usuals like Banh Beo, Banh Bot Loc, Banh Uot, etc Huong Giang is a spot we often place orders with. Prices are fair and food is usually pretty good. But unfortunately, the last few times we’ve picked up dishes, I wasn’t too impressed. Just a few days ago, I braved the crazy drivers of Little Saigon to pick up a tray of Cha Oc(Vietnamese«ham» with periwinkle) on Christmas Eve. The place was PACKED! Absolutely bananas during the holidays so be sure to place your orders in advanced if you need it. The Cha Oc turned out to be rather bland and didn’t have the«bite/crunch» texture it should have. As for the periwinkle, it was nearly non-existent. I’ve also found that the«banh» have been a lot thicker and doughier than it should be. All in all, it’s convenient, but if you want party trays, I’d recommend Lien Hue instead.

My sister always orders the Banh uot thit nuong from here whenever we have a family party in San Diego. I only get to eat this during those times and never knew what it was called or that she got it from here lol. This time, the party was in Anaheim so she ordered more things and I got to try the banh nam too. You can taste the banana leaf in there, but I think I like the way my mom makes it more… But I haven’t had it in a while to compare. They have a lot of other items you can order, so I might try something at their restaurant when I’m in the area. For now, you can’t go wrong with the Banh cuon rolled up like a spring roll! Its delicious!

My go to place when I’m in Orange County and have a craving for bánh ít trn and bánh bt lc. I’m a huge fan of chewy foods and this place makes these two dishes really well, just the right chewyness and texture. Their nc mm(fish sauce) that it comes with is made well too. I’m usually pretty picky with my fish sauce and this place doesn’t make it too salty like most places do. Haven’t really tried the other dishes here so I can’t comment on those, but if you’re craving for either bánh ít trn and bánh bt lc, definitely recommend you give this place a try.

My mom was texting me while I was at work one day about her random cravings!!! The thing about Vietnamese food is that it isn’t difficult to make, but it can be quite time consuming. I told her I would pick her up some food on my way back and she told me to come her… because this is where her friend went(blah blah blah)… Apparently this is THEE spot Vietnamese families hit up for party trays! If this is your first time coming her, drive carefully. This parking lot is so horrible and the people who are in this plaza happen to be the worse amongst the worst of Westminster… no JK! I think the Bánh Bèo was a good price. It comes in a party tray: $ 20 for 100. I think the price is fair and it was the perfect amount for my family to share. I just didn’t really like the fish sauce that was included. I made my own at home :) My mom also asked me to get Bánh Bt Lc, so when I got there I asked for the«Bánh Bt Lc» … the guy I ordered it with gave me Bánh Lc Trn(meaning it’s naked). Since I didn’t see the version wrapped in banana leaves Bánh Lc Lá, I thought this was the only one they had… This was a really lucky mistake though because the Bánh Lc Trn was $ 26 for 100 whereas the Bánh Lc Lá was $ 50 for 100! WHAT A RIPOFF! Overall I would recommend this spot for their convenient party trays, but just be mindful of your order and the prices. I hear they often mess up your order =/

I basically came here for eggrolls since one of my friends rave about their cha gio hoa tien. A few things I notice about this place. 1) They are like warehouse production of snacks. It’s not a place that you can go it and say«4 eggrolls please». The guy almost didn’t to take my order because of Tet but another guy said OK. 2) There’s absolutely no English speaking at this place ATALL. I wanted to order 10 cha gio hoa tien and 10 cha gio tom cua instead of tempting to talk. I just grab a menu and write 10 and 10 on the corresponding number. The guy behind the counter looked at it and said«5 mi-nit». I assume he understood it. After waited for about 10 «mi-nit», the guy brought out two boxes of my order. Overall, the cha gio was just OK. But, they are cheap, 50 cents each.
