I had a hot stone of rice & oyster. I can say it’s «just caught» quality of the oysters, so fresh & so flavorful. One more thing that I love about this place is the wonderful service. The waitress can barely speak English but she’s so nice & friendly :)

The seafood pancake is a must have. I also like the omelet rice. Overall the food is above average Korean restaurants in town. I will be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Not sure why there’s not a lot of reviews on here. Place had a steady flow of customers, weren’t too busy. Went earlier today for dinner finally. Very small & cozy like a mom & pop store. So large crowds, stay away please or break up into smaller groups. The ladies are very kind and sweet. Had clean calming music which I thought was a nice touch. Ordered the stir fried spicy squid & beef soup(forgot the name). Was fairly delicious. Got medium spicy & it was just the perfect level. Portions are huge. Enough for two people. Side dishes are just okay. I’ve had better, but who cares, the actual food was good. Lol Would definitely recommend it! There’s usually only all you can eat kbbq and tofu restaurants around the area and not enough of these places that serve a variety of dishes! I needed a variety & they have it. Would definitely come back & probably try everything else on the menu. Yummmmm :)

The number they have listed is actually the one from their other place. This place is really nice! Their tables fit 4 people at a time so big parties probably won’t be the best. I have to say this place has the best kimbap! I always order it when I come here. The ramen ddukbokki is really good as well! Kinda spicy for me personally(but I’m a wimp anyways). It’s probably just the right amount if you love eating spicy! Their donkatsu is great as well! A pretty good amount for what you pay. Try out this place! You won’t be disappointed! Here’s the number(714) 638‑8751

Come here once every two weeks. Relaxing atmosphere. The service lady is very nice. Bibimbap and cold noodles are great. Have not tried other foods on the menu.

I love Korean food and I’m usually a picky eater but this place has taken my soul. I love their food: tteokbokki, cold noodle, bibimbap, and especially jajangmyun… Their side dishes have great seasoning and the kimchi isn’t bad. It’s a family business so expect to wait around 20 mins for the orders to be served.

They opened this location next to AR mart. The original one is located inside H Mart by Magnolia. But that one is spelled Dae Jang Gum on Unilocal and this one is spelled Dae Jang Kum. Either way, can’t beat the food here. Kinda sad that I’ve had such mediocre Korean food in Garden Grove and have been disappointed many times. So since this location opened up, I’ve been coming at least once a week. I like trying new things but each time, I find myself here again and again. They have a very extensive menu of korean dishes. Nothing out of the ordinary and they don’t specialize in any particular thing but they do everything well. And they are always clean and consistent. The service is great by any standard. By Asian standards, it’s phenomenal. The server is this lady who is always there and her service makes you feel like you are visiting a friend’s house and she is that super nice mom that loves to serve. If I go with a big party, we get a bunch of stuff and share. And everything is always just right. The side dishes also get rotated so it you won’t get tired of the same thing. The décor is as simple as they get but it’s a small place with only 8 tables with 4 seats each. So stop stuffing your face with 20 lbs of brisket and be advebturous a d try some legit Korean food. Right across the street you have Morangak which is good but way overpriced with crazy long waits. For a quick bite with a small group can’t beat Dae Jang Kum. Also they had the wisdom to name it after my all time favorite K-Drama of all time.
