tiny rolls and frozen fish. Not impressed. A waste of 14 dollars… The service was bad too. So disapointed.

Located in the food courts inside of the AR Supermarket. Picture menu so just tell the lady what number you want! What I got: Salmon Teriyaki Bento($ 11): comes with a piece of salmon teriyaki, 5 piece California Roll, 3 piece assorted sushi, salad, rice, and miso soup. Everything actually tasted pretty good. California Roll was good. The sushi was actually cut pretty thick. I actually enjoyed the salad, loved the dressing! Miso soup was average, but then we spilled it on the table… Service: Lady seemed confused when we wanted the salmon bento… I guess people don’t usually order that? Food came out pretty quick though. Water dispenser is right next to the cashier too!

I found this place while going to the market and was just looking for something quick to eat. I tried their sashimi bowl special and I loved it. You will have a piece of sashimi for almost every bite. It also comes with rice, miso soup and sides. Now I get it at least once a week. The lady who works there is very nice.

Inside the A. R. Supermarket, Korea Plaza, in the food court. The food court is to the right of the entrance. I have to learn that any Korean sushi place makes their«poki bowl» as a salad. I’ve been fooled too many times now. And«vegetables» are code word for lettuce. Their sushi roll, the double double, with ahi and salmon layered on top of a tempura shrimp filled roll is tasty. The fish was cut really thin, I’d hope for a little more sushi, bigger slices of salmon and ahi. And the fish was a bit wet, like it was previously frozen and thawed out. And for the poki salad, the fish was a tough and not as easy to chew as raw fish that I’ve had before. They also give you miso soup and some pickled vegetables for free with your order. I still have to give Ocean Sushi 2 stars due to the lack of quality of the fish and that nothing impressed me.

I got the sashimi bowl… I love sashimi bowls… however, half of my sashimi bits in this bowl was frozen, or rather, they were thawing. Not cool at all. So very sad. The price was awesome so I thought I’d be able to come here ALL the time but that would not be the case.

Enjoyed the spicy udon, but the cold noodles was pleasing to the eye but not very impressive to the taste buds(bland). the chicken teryikai bento was a good deal(price wise) for the amout of food but nothing special really.

For a place located in a Korean market, it’s good. Not THAT good though. Everyone said it’s good for the price? What in the world are they talking about? The price is almost like regular sushi but half the flavor! People on Unilocal must be some ballers. haha. Overall the sushi was okay, too much rice. The udon noodles were good, but then again I love udon noodles anywhere. I like them here, I like them there. I like them at a fair, I like them in bel-air. I like them. okay you get the point! It’s not even a place I would eat for a quick bite? Sushi came after the udon noodles? Thought sushi was suppose to be quicker? What the. Oh well. I was full. That’s all that matters. -, —

Hidden Gem Great place for a quick sushi fix. It is in the Airang Supermarket which is odd but pretty common in Korean markets, kind of like a food court for a mall. Ocean has this sashimi salad special which is pretty cheap for a heaping of salad with diced sashimi on top along with the spicy seasoning/dressing. Also on the menu item for us was a spicy tuna roll which wasn’t great but wasn’t bad at all. One of the best things about eating here is because it is a Korean based restaurant and gives sides along with your meal. Will be going again!

Ocean Sushi is located inside of Airiang Supermarket, at the food court. I think the prices and quality of the food are great here! I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. Their combos here are awesome! I like their udon noodle soup, sashimi salad bowl(the huge bowl of goodness), sashimi pieces and their spicy tuna roll. Whether you’re ordering to-go, or dining in, you’ll always have little side dishes waiting for you :) That’s why I love Korean food! The side dishes mmm! The lady who works here is very nice and cute. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for affordable and delicious sushi, or if you are looking for a snack after shopping at the supermarket!

This little Korean place is located inside of the Korean market in Garden Grove. Think of it as a tiny food court, if you will. I love getting their kim bap with the miso soup. It is made fresh and it is absolutely delicious. They also sell udom noodle soup, eel sushi(yuck, but my mom likes it) and other sorts of Korean food. The only downside is their service. If you’re not Korean, you pretty much get bad service. I’m half Korean, but to them I must look only Brazilian cos they don’t seem to make an effort to smile or anything. The pro is that the food is made fresh and they bring it to your table. They also have free filtered water. Not tap which is a big plus for me seeing as how I only drink water. There is also limited seating but it is never crowded. The price is very reasonable which is why I find myself going back there every time.
