Tred to double charge me and could not get my medication formulation correct!

Wow, I saw a really bad review on this business, and I couldn’t disagree more.
Last month, realized that it was just too great a distance walking to get into my Doctor’s office, so decided to rent a wheelchair, to see if it would make a difference
I called our local surgical supply store, that I have used in the past, for a walker, and it was a disaster. First of all I needed a slightly wider than average chair, but NOT the really wide bariatric one. the person on the phone didn’t seem to know what I meant. He kept saying there was no such thing, I was a Rehabilitation Nurse for many years, and I knew it DID exist. Then, he finally said that they DID have what I wanted, and it could be picked up the next day. Fortunately I called the next day, because someone else answered, and had no CLUE what I was talking about.
So, I went online. Saw that Wayne’s had a surgical supply business, besides the Pharmacy. We have used Wayne’s in the past, because our dog needed eye drops, and our Vet, Dr Polley uses Wayne’s to fill prescriptions for dogs for meds he doesn’t keep at his Veterinary Practice. They were always very nice.
When I called, the man who answered, knew EXACTLY what I needed, and had one in stock. My husband went right over, and once he was there, the man called me back, went over my needs, and my husband came home with a really nice, lightweight, metal and mesh sporty looking transport chair, that was just right. And it cost $ 40 for the month. $ 10 LESS than the first place.
The month was up today, and I called them, because it is now obvious that the wheelchair DOES make things easier, and asked how much it would cost to buy. I have filled out info for Patients’ for years, so I braced myself for At least $ 400 if not more. but to my happy surprise, it was only $ 300, and they deducted the price of the $ 40 rental fee, too! AND because we had paid for the rental with a credit card, with my permission, they just reran the charge, so my husband didn’t even need to go back. :)
If I have any more durable equipment needs, I will definitely go back to Wayne’s, and other people should too.

Sadly, I concur. He gave me a price quote more than double of another ethical pharmacy and online vendors. When I politely mentioned this he answered, «but I thought u said u couldn’t find this (product) anywhere…» I wanted to be sure I was doing a fair comparison but he was no longer interested in answering questions, «well u do what u want to do.» Then he hung up. Wow.
