Mineola Family Pharmacy

I created a Unilocal account just so I could review this pharmacy. Manny is that AMAZING. I went to the pharmacy on Saturday to pick up prescriptions for a dear friend who has terminal cancer. My friend’s doctor was supposed to call in the prescriptions, but when I got to the pharmacy, I learned that he had not. Long story short, minutes before the pharmacy was supposed to close, I learned that I would need to go pick up the prescriptions from the doctor instead. Manny was very kind about this. He promised me he would stay open, and he did.
Manny stayed open an hour past closing time on a Saturday so that he could fill all the prescriptions and give me directions on how to administer the medicine to my friend. Even though my friend does not have prescription insurance coverage, I was able to get all the medication that she needed at a fraction of what it would cost at a big chain store.
As if he hadn’t done enough, Manny even help to push my car when I got stuck in the snow in front of his store.
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment! My family and I are grateful to Manny. He is a rare gem. Thanks Manny!

This is a wonderful pharmacy, they make you feel so comfortable and they really take their time and talk with you and work with you if you have nah insurance issues.
I was so worried about payment for my sons medication and they have me all the help I needed. I have since only gone to this pharmacy and recommend that everyone does.

I believe in shopping small. In an age of mega stores and chains, Manny is fighting the good fight and keeping personal service alive.

A pharmacy doesn’t get any better than this. The pharmacist here is incredibly knowledgeable, and saved me from a potential negative drug interaction that even my doctor missed. He remembers you by name. And the prescription medication prices are as good as or better than those found in the large chain stores.

The pharmacists are extremely polite, helpful and courteous. The store is located conveniently near Winthrop Hospital and some other medical offices in the area. They deliver your order no matter how large or small-​if you have to drop off a prescription you can choose to have it delivered if you can’t or don’t want to wait (I believe locally). They are a welcome business in the community and I happily switched to them as my pharmacy
