Meh. I’ve given this place a few tries. Not bad but not good either. Just not enough flavor. Similar concept as Chipotle but not executed as well.

From all the moes in Long Island I think this is the best one. The food and salsas tend to be fresh all the time. The staff are friendly.

The restaurant is GREAT, the food is also good. employees are friendly, but the ORDERONLINE feature is TERRIBLE! JUSTAWFUL. Every time I go to use it, it is a problem. Took me almost 30 minutes to order 2 burritos and a nacho plate. We like to choose our ingredients, and just pick up, so in theory, this should work fine, but it doesn’t. I KNOW the place is in Garden City, but when I enter«Moe’s garden City» on their website, it says there is no results! Had to put the MINEOLA zipcode to get the store up. Then, accidently ordered a Jr burrito, and when I tried to delete it, it deleted the whole order, and I had to start again. THEN, when I went to ‘Check out” it had the entire FIRST try, AND the second try! And when you delete each item, you have to wait for a reloading with each separate item. GRRRRRRR Calling via telephone is not a great option here, the place where they answer is very noisy, and they can’t understand what ingredients you want, but the computer ORDERONLINE is so frustrating, I hate to use it. The little rinky dink take out Chinese food place we order from uses«All menus» online service, and it is GREAT. No confusion, easy deletions, etc. But this now big, Corporation can’t make their order on line service user friendly? That said, after the system refused my password, and I had to reset THAT, too. the food was ready on time, and great.

Came to moes for the first time. It’s a standard Americanized Mexican joint. You can order from the wall or create your own burrito(chipotle style). I got the spicy chicken which was actually spicy and pretty good. They have a salsa bar as well. Overall, I prefer chipotle over this place, but if you’re in the mood for Mexican this place can suffice

Good TexMex. If you like Chipotle you’ll love Moe’s. The ingredients are fresh and the selection is varied. Used to bring the kids for free kids meal Tuesday(?) and now they’re older and still enjoy the food. A good place.

Can’t really give it four stars, despite the fact that it’s not the pigsty that the East Meadow location is. Same bland food, and the garbage can is overflowing so badly that if it weren’t for the window the trash would be all over the parking lot.

Nasty I cannot tell you how bad it tastes, It was plain and full of calories, I absolutely did not enjoy it and its also pretty expensive for what you get. The employees were so cheap with the servings and all in all this place is not for me. Taste: Bad, Price: expensive for what you get in terms of both portions and quality, Employees: Some didnt speak english and completely ignored what I was saying.

I love Moe’s! Prices are decent, there are always coupons for discounts, the queso is great, free chips and salsa are awesome. Staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming(unlike Chipotles cold, modern style). Try the«chipotle ranch» sauce on the side. Can’t beat Moe’s!

I love Moes plain and simple. I prefer the flavor, portions over Chipotle!

Welcome to moes, the classic burrito chain. However they offer chips with any order and a variety of salsa on the side. They will put any toppings on anything to make it the flavor you want. A little more variety than chipotle. The line can be intimidating but it moves quickly, and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

I don’t know why I never wrote a review for this place but here it goes! I was always pretty iffy about Moe’s since I’m such a die she’s Chipotle fan but it definitely holds its own. I always get a salad when I come here and the ingredients are always fresh. The workers are always really nice and do their best to keep smiles on their face at any time of the day which is really refreshing. I like coming here for my lunch hour with my sister or coworkers and we always have a good experience. Keep up the good work!

@ Moe’s, what you get is a bit short of the size from Chipotle, and a bit less tasty as Taco Joe’s; less choices at Moe’s than each. I bought just one chicken burrito adding onion(at an additional 99 cents, which is ridiculous) and a drink; the total came to $ 12, quite the outrage in my mind… I had 15 on me and it;s a good thing I didn’t order a simple taco as I desired… They charge more for a spoonful of sour cream as well. I suppose they figure throwing free tortilla chips in the bottom of the bag and then crushing it with what ever else you order makes up for the price… not in my opinion. I rated this place up… but after reviewing it, I’ll have to go back and change my vote… I see no reason to return here when although good and tasty, Chipotle is bigger, and Taco Joe’s has more variety… They all seem to have the flavor factor but why go out of your way for a few crushed tortilla chips.

If you like the sun blinding you definitely go here. Also they don’t turn the ac on so if your looking to eat in and escape the heat, youre beat. Otherwise, the food is good. They should invest in blinds.

The food itself is very good, but the servings they offer are so small! For the amount you spend you should definitely be getting more meat. They have these little metal scoops and they give this tiny portion and have the balls to charge like 3 dollars more for a extra tiny scoop. When I ordered my bowl if I didn’t ask for extra meat I would barely have anything to eat. For 2 people the bill came out to almost 30 dollars. THAT’S CRAZY! Food tastes good, I’m just not gonna go back to be ripped off.

They were pretty lazy at this location. The guys kind of just threw my food together. I understand they’re young and don’t care about their jobs but at least try, you know? Otherwise it was just a Moes.

I love Moes. You can keep your Chipolte and Taco Bell this is the real deal. The food is always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the language barrier was a bit difficult to understand today and my order wasn’t made correctly. All the chips they gave me were broken and crushed too… I ordered a Funk Meister and by the time i sat down the shell was basically mush, BUT its still delicious, next time ill get soft tacos since thats what it turned into. Place was clean i appreciate the fact they have fresh lemons and limes and oh those salsas. They are delicious. All in all a great meal but one helluva a mess to eat. Thank God i was alone and came home and cleaned up.

I love Moe’s…and this one in particular. I’m not a fan of the other«Mexican» options out there. Moes is quick and always fresh, never have a problem with bad food here. I dont really considerate fast food either, its not Chipotle or Taco well. I personally think its better then Chipotle. Employees are generally very pleasant and greet you as you walk in.

Moes Southwest Grill situates its business model somewhere between Chipolte and Taco Bell. Less of a restaurant approach as Chipole, less quality ingredients but heads above Taco Bell in the same categories. The Art Vandalay Jr I ordered was a small vegetarian burrito yet ample in size for a lunch meal. When the burrito assembly man drove the non slotted spoon into the black beans as if to say«how much would you like?» I waved my hand in immediate dismissal. Beans on a burrito? Herecy I tell you! I really did not want the rice in my soft flour tortilla, but I did it anyway. My thinking was(having never been to a Moes before) with the additional options still in waiting, I was going to make up for the no bean, minimal rice decision with other items along the assembly line and plump my burrito up. Double the guacamole helping and pico de Gallo, extra jalapenos please. But what I really enjoyed most was the salsa bar which I rocked. I left with ten containers of wonderful hot sauces and lapped up every last spicy drop.

I’ve always found Moe’s to be better than Chipotle. Go ahead, gasp. I remember when Moe’s had a very basic menu consisting of only quesadillas and HUGE burritos. They now offer Jr. Size burritos(much better for someone like me) and salad bowls. This location is larger than most and always clean and fresh. The employees are very nice and aren’t stingy with the ingredients. I personally love the Homewrecker Jr. with tofu. Yes, they have tofu. Moe’s is a good alternative to other«fast food» options, especially if you want something made in front of you. It can get a bit pricey but everything they sell is larger in size and they have a salsa bar, where you can get as many salsas for your chips as you’d like.

I’m so glad there is a Moe’s in the area. Ever get a craving for a full on burrito? Moe’s makes a STACKED burrito! Here’s a few things to consider when you go to Moe’s: Its expensive. $ 15 lunch with a drink is the average price Its huge! I always need a nap after eating here Fresh ingredients at the Salsa bar make it a great snack They are stingy with the Guac so be aggressive with the server I mean, its a fast food franchise but add the fresh ingredients and Moe’s makes me a happy pappy.
