I love this place! Nicest waitress, best deal on great food. We rented a book on cd(Dead Wake) from another Cracker Barrel and are enjoying it on our roadtrip!

10 am Saturday, crowded but not full. Hostess distracted and uncommunicative. Extremely understaffed with servers — servers friendly and competent but overworked. After we’d been sitting for 5 min or more, the manager(who was doing walk-thrus in the dining room) asked if we’d given our drink order yet. When we told her no, she said she’d find someone to take our order, instead of taking it herself. It still took another 5 min for a server to take our drink order. Food was good.

Ah, Cracker Barrel. I remember when the nearest one to the 35904⁄6 zip code was all the way down in Trussville. I remember when they built this joint, and despite world-hopping with my husband these days? When I go home to visit family, I go here. It ain’t health food. The service staff has, in all those years, never been anything but absolutely fantastic. The kitchen seems to get a little turned around, but they did mention in May that they were training new people. It’s very possible that they’ve had some turnover issues or something back there. The shop’s always in perfect shape and the food’s spot on. What can I say? I remember when that walmart didn’t even exist except for all the way down by the Burton’s much further down the road. Maybe I’m a little nostalgic about this joint since I saw it open. But I think it’s a solid 4.

Waited 50 minutes to get one piece of fish one hamburger patty and maybe 15 pieces of fried okra Three tables that ordered after U.S. Got their meal before we did

Food is good. Help is friendly. Sometimes slow. Takeout order often has errors, maybe our fault. We are labor intensive mostly old people.

Service was very slow to get a table for there not being hardly anyone in the restaurant at 7:00AM. Had to hunt down someone to get a table. Cashier at front said it wasn’t her job, as she walked around the front. Waitresses in dining area kept looking over and did not assist the couple behind me or myself. The guys behind me just grabbed 2 menus and headed to the dining area. Ham and sausage were dry and overcooked. Food tasted like it was sitting out for a little bit. A bit of a shame since I love Cracker Barrel… My hotel is close to here… so I will be heading in at least one more time before I leave the area. I just hope that they step up their service.

Not bad. Friendly staff. Mashed were dry. Low salt I believe. Cornbread worth it. Ate here because the county is dry on Sunday. Otherwise would not have tried it.

Super friendly service and tasty food. Overall I can’t see a reason not to recommend you give it a try.
