I don’t even know where to begin. Awesome food, great drinks and low prices! You have to get the 10th Inning, a grilled ham and crab sandwich, it’s amazing! The Reuben is great and I don’t even like sauerkraut. Fried Green beans that are perfect, not soggy like you’ll get some places, served with an even more incredible sauce made in house. You can’t go wrong with the shrimp salad sandwich on rye toasted, steamers, Last call fries AND they have blue moon on tap! Friday is fried chicken night, half a chicken and two sides! The coleslaw, Mac n Chz and Mashed Potatoes are my favorite sides. We got dinner for two and a few beers for like $ 26. The only downside: every once in a while, some stranger danger will stumble in and hit on your mom or rant about Caitlyn Jenner, Donald Trump & diabetes. For the record, they are closed on Sunday’s :(

The best crab cake I have ever had. Don’t let the looks of this place deceive you! Awesome locally owned place that’s been there for years. Amazing food. From the sweet potato fries to the steak and cheese wrap. Check this place out.

Small locals hang-out with inexpensive beer, excellent soft crab sandwiches and welcoming atmosphere.

A hidden gem in Funkstown. Don’t let looks deceive you– the food and service is great! While visiting the original Washington Monument, we stumbled upon the tavern. Walking in you are greeted by a packed bar of locals and friendly waitresses. There is bar seating and tables in two other rooms. My boyfriend ordered the crab cake sandwich which was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the chicken stripes which were yummy. I ordered the corn fritters and the town famous cheeseburger. The fritters where probably the best I have ever had and the cheeseburger lived up to its title. The sweet tea was fresh and amazingly perfectly sweetened southern style. I am so glad we had the whim to stop and try something new!
