Love this place. Great drinks and food. Well priced. Great internet connection and atmosphere for working or chatting with friends. Support small business! :)

Love this place! The staff is so friendly and they brighten up my morning. The coffee is delicious, and the freezes(like s-bucks frappuccinos) are the best I’ve ever had. The prices are very reasonable too, and they sometimes host cool events like open mic nights. First Cup is definitely a major addition to the Katy/Fulshear area, and I definitely recommend it.

Great breakfast blend and this place has a drive through which is a huge convenience when you have kids in the car and craving some coffee. Inside is cool, modern, & hip.

Great, locally owned spot for coffee, light lunch or a business meeting. Very nice service staff. I ate the turkey sandwich on croissant and my wife had the chicken salad.

I like the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and the lemon raspberry muffin is just amazing. Now my fav muffin ever. The coffee was okay and the service is friendly. I actually mentioned to them that I heard the chicken salad was good so they made up a sample for me to try and that’s how I went back again and again. My daughter loves it too. It’s nothing special but it’s fresh and made to go, it has nice chunks of pecans and grapes in it and it’s the simplicity of it that I think I enjoy overall.

This seems like a great neighborhood gathering place. The inside décor is both cozy and open, but I opted to enjoy a lovely sunny day sitting at one of the many tables outside. The drive-thru seemed to be hoppin’ busy when I was there over lunch mid-week. Service was fantastic. Everyone seemed to be making an effort to give patrons a pleasant, positive experience. While I enjoyed my fancy caramel flan latte, it didn’t seem that the main attraction here is either the food or coffee(I did not eat during this visit) but the community aspect. Many of the patrons that I spoke with during my visit spoke highly of the owners and the business’ impact on the Fulshear community. A lot of people have made this their place to go when they need to get out of their home offices for a change of scenery or camaraderie. I wish First Cup the best as they continue to grow in the area and hope they’ll soon open a location near me in SE Katy!

I wanted to give 3.5 stars but since there is no half option so went with 4. We live in cinco ranch and never really explored southwest side. Recently discovered this place. Been here 3 to 4 times so far. Nice interior and the coffee is good. Tried their pumpkin spice and other lattes. They were tasty yumm. So now the negative part: Coffee I thought is super expensive. Went here after a bike ride and it costed us 17dollars just for two lattes and two croissants. Next when you ask for a latte the cup is usually only ¾ full and the rest is foam… meh I like it full(especially when you are paying so much money). Hope they atleast introduce rewards program. Overall it’s a nice place, good coffee and GREAT service. I love to support local businesses so will be definitely going back more often.

My wife and I happened upon this place after her bike broke down during a ride this past Sunday. We were greeted with a smile, and a great cup of coffee! We also had the the turkey and egg breakfast muffin, and enjoyed that as well. It is a real comfortable place to have a good cup of coffee(or 2). We don’t live in the area, but I know where our little Bike group will be going when our rides take us to Fulshear!

I’m quite sad to write this update to my previous review. When First Cup opened the coffee was great. I’m not sure what’s happened in the last few months but the filter coffee seems to be increasingly watery and the cappuccino is absolutely terrible. My wife used to love the Venti Breakfast Blend but now would rather just make our own at home. A few weeks back I got a cappuccino and it tasted absolutely noxious. I honestly thought some cleaning fluid had got into the cup or coffee. I told them about it later that day and got a profuse apology. A few weeks later I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again. The coffee tasted very similar. Sadly I think that’s the last time I’ll be there. Starbucks is opening on 1463 soon, we are now looking forward to that.

I’m glad I found this place! Super cute in here! Clean and friendly and one of the best latte’s I’ve had since moving here. Price is good too.

My wife and I stopped by there last Saturday. We were welcomed immediately. The establishment was extremely clean, which is something you will never see in a #tarbuc€s. There was a wide variety of drinks and quite a bit of goodies. There was a high definition tv on the wall and the barista gave me the remote, where I turned the channel to watch the Baylor Bears kick some booty. This is a comfortable place. I live in cross creek ranch and welcome this coffee house. Good luck to y’all. I’ll be seeing you again!

It’s a cute spot. The interior is something you’d expect to see from a Katy Homes magazine– high ceilings, wood, stone, and granite counters, plushy couches, and rustic metal decorations. I had the quiche and my mom the apple cinnamon cake. My mom loved her pastry but my quiche was bland with soggy crust. New Orleans has spoiled me, and I found myself wishing for a few drops of Crystal or Cajun Chef. You could tell the food was pre-made. For the price I would have liked to see a little bit more especially since Katy is full of nice little grocery store bakeries. Hot and iced coffee were satisfactory, but for once again what they charge I’d like to see options other than just half/half or packaged creamer at the self serve. My mom also asked for a cup of water but they must not have heard. The employees were friendly. The manager(or was he the owner?) was also there that morning and mingled/chatted with other patrons. A bit of awkwardness ensued when their computer system lost power and glitched. I think this could have been handled better… I was held up at the counter while they tried again and again to get the system to work. I know it’s not their fault and was not looking to get out of paying but by the time things finally got worked out, my mom had finished most of her coffee and the mine had a layer of melted ice water. Overall, it was a pretty forgettable experience. I’ll give this place another try next time I’m in town and see if this was just an unlucky off day. My mom enjoyed it so 3 stars it is.

First cup serves seasonal drinks. Just ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Was coaxed into ordering a pumpkin spice cookie… WOW, glad I did! So yummy, chewy and love the pumpkin spice.

Nice atmosphere and very good customer service. Just wasn’t all that impressed with my breakfast sandwich(just prefab) or the coffee. Although they serve Ft Bend coffee as an option, they also serve Community Coffee … We finally got rid of the free Community Coffee at my office … Sure as heck don’t want to pay the prices for it here. Service and atmosphere is the only reason this gets two stars.

Panera has an apple, chips or a hunk of bread. McDonalds has french fries. Jason’s had fresh fruit or chips. And as for First Cup? Nothing. While I can’t attest to the interior of the restaurant itself, the drive through for First Cup was great. I ordered the chicken salad on croissant and, while it was excellent, without a side I really felt like something was missing. Is it necessary? No. But if I’m going to get a sandwich for over $ 5, I really kind of expect something to be with it, even just a cheap bag of Fritos. Maybe I’m crazy, but with a Wendy’s across the street, it’s hard to justify a similar amount of money with a much smaller meal. My suggestion? Don’t change a thing about the sandwich, it was excellent. But offer a combo choice as well with a water or bottled coke and some chips or fresh fruit. I would love to have meal options in this area that aren’t fast food but are quick and easy, and with a side and a drink, this would certainly fit the bill.

As a recent SF transplant, I’ve been aching for a legit café. Thank you, First Cup! It’s a cozy, homie, locally owned, café with free wifi. The cappuccino is proper and it’s locally owned – have I already mentioned that?
