On January 23rd I had zapata come cater my sons baby shower. They were prompt. Provided excellent service, great food, awesome rice, meets, drinks. I would highly recommend. They are by far one of the best tacos I have eaten. Prices were great.

We used Tacos Zapata for our sons baptism, organising and booking was very easy and they communicated well. We were on a budget and the quote they gave us was inline with what we wanted to spend. They turned up on time and had everything ready as described. Food was great with plenty of food left over, which they packed up and gave us. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Came here to test out the food for a couple getting married in July. We ordered asada and al pastor tacos with rice, beans, and a quesadilla. Everything was bland… Everything. No umami, lackinh salt, salsa was bitter from the chiles being burnt.
Sad because the price and presentation of their catering looked promising.

I hired Tacos Zapata for a birthday party+Halloween party. It was on Halloween night, but they accommodated. They were also happy to work in an unusual outdoor space.
My guests enjoyed the food and the TZ staff (of two) were great. I budgeted for 55 guests. I had about that, but was still the recipient of a lot of leftovers. I would hire TZ again.

We got the chicken, carneasada and carnitas tacos and they were AMAZING! We also didn’t have enough light for all of our guests to see what they were getting at the salsa bar (my party was late at night) and the servers used their own cell phone lights to let them see

They just catered my wife’s 40th birthday party at a park in Buena Park. I would have to say that they were exceptional. The food was great, the service was amazing, and my friends all loved it. Since I had it at a park the county required a vendor that was approved and insured. Sure enough they were both. I would recommend them to anyone at any time.

I hired Tacos Zapata to cater my mother’s 50th birthday and they were great. They arrived on time and had their entire setup ready to go before we were even ready for them to serve! They gave service with a smile despite having to work in ridiculous heat (hopefully they’ll bring a tent in the future). We ordered carne asada, al pastor & chicken tacos. I didn’t taste the chicken — though I heard rave reviews — but the other meats were delish! Rice was fine, beans weren’t as smooth as I like them but they were still tasty. We also had cheese quesadillas for the kids and ordered a large pineapple juice that everyone LOVED! They also boxed up all the leftovers so we were able to eat seconds later that night. Would definitely hire them again if I have another event in the Inland Empire.

Tacos Zapata catered our wedding and let me start by saying that the food is delicious. We ate at their restaurant where the food the yummy and the catering price was just right. The food was fabulous both times and all of our guests were content.
The service is where is dicey. Communication with Edgar is hit or miss. So much so that I was kind of nervous on my wedding day if they would show up or not. Also, the two who cooked and served during the wedding were not friendly. They would not listen to our coordinator, they ended service early, and when they were looking for payment they spoke VERY rudely to my mother and told her they would talk to no one but the groom. So my husband and to leave the dance floor to deal with a matter our family members or coordinator were completely capable of handling. They may have a great product, but I would not use them again because of their manners.

We ordered catering from Tacos Zapata for my rehearsal lunch for my wedding and it was a huge hit! All of my guests kept telling me that the taco cart was by far the best idea they had ever seen for a wedding rehearsal and that the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Even my guests that were from out of town and not used to eating Mexican food really enjoyed it!
My favorite part was that they set up and cooked everything right in front of us, so you knew it was fresh! The food was so good, everyone went up for seconds. And it was a lot more affordable than doing a catered rehearsal dinner at a restaurant (around $ 9 per person). We ordered the carne asada, chicken, and carnitas. My favorite was the carnitas, but they were all fantastic.
We just had our rehearsal lunch outside in a park, and it was perfect! I would highly recommend Tacos Zapata to anyone looking for a delicious and unique caterer for their event.

Tacos Zapada catered my son’s baby shower and now they are back for my son’s first birthday! I couldn’t be happier to work with them again! Edgar is still extremely responsive and very quick at answering questions!
Staff are professional and food is great as always! We’ve had our fair share of tacos catering and this is hands down one of the best! I’ve seen the prices for the competitor and they are ridiculous! I am happy to pay a reasonable price for good food and great service!
I still would recommend them to anyone interested in tacos catering! This is my second time around so it only means they are doing something right!

On 10/​18/​2014 Tacos Zapata catered my brothers Jamaican themed 40Th birthday party, (I know its a bit late, but better late then never.) I just wanted to take the time to let you know that your taco catering service is phenomenal!!! My friends and family really enjoyed the food and drinks. The two caterers that ran the taco show, where on time, friendly, helpful and professional.
Trust in the fact that Taco Zapata will definitely be the first call I make when planning another event. I will also be more than happy to refer Tacos Zapata to all of my friends and family (and maybe an occasional stranger.) any time they have an event that requires BOMB ASS TACOS!!! Thanks again!

Holy Moly– best taco man ever! Everyone at my grad party raved about the food! We’ve had a few different taco catering companies before but this was the best. The tacos were great but the beans, rice, and quesadillas were awesome! Wish I would have thought to take a photo because they had a nice setup but everyone at my party was asking for business cards.
You won’t regret choosing them :)

These guys are awesome! We had them cater our company lunch and everyone raved about how great the food was. We chose carne asada, chicken, and carnitas for the tacos, and all of them were delicious! The chips, rice, beans, salsas, and horchata were amazing as well. I especially love that they don’t use lard in their beans. HUGE bonus points!
We ended up having a bunch of food left over and these guys packed everything up in boxes for us to take home. My co-​worker and I were splitting the leftovers, and they were nice enough to divide everything up for us.

We have started having monthly lunches at work, so I had to figure out how to feed 150 people in a short amount of time. Looked up TZ on Unilocal and their reviews were so good I gave them a call. We were not disappointed. My questions were answered quickly and succinctly. They arrived on time and were completely ready to serve on time. They brought their own tables and tablecloths, which impressed me, and the food was marvelous; carne asada, carnitas and chicken tacos, cheese quesadillas, all the toppings, chips, rice and beans, plates, napkins, utensils. I supplied botted H2O. The servers were courteous and friendly, and they packed up extra food in my kitchen stuff. I highly recommend. As another point, I thought they were also a very good value, very affordable.
As we rotate through some other catering services for our lunches, Tacos Zapata will be on my «approved» list. Great job, guys.

I was at an event today where Tacos Zapata were serving the food. The food was fabulous. The servers Laura and Luis we’re very professional and courteous.
I have been to quite a few events where on site taco catering took place and I have to tell you, the food was delicious and there was a nice supply of salsas and condiments to go with your tacos. I have to say I’ll be using this company for an upcoming event.
Just had my event this weekend and my guests were very impressed. The service, the display of food and the kind hearts of Luis and Laura. We had the chicken, carne asada and carnitas and added a few orders of taquitos to the mix. There was a great array of salsas from mild to spicy hot.
If you want a great taco company, this is the one for you. I will definitely be using them again.
