Las Palmas

First off, let me just say how picky I am with my living situations, which makes Las Palmas that much more impressive. I have had 2 separate apartments in the complex (as I moved to LA for a year and then right back to Las Palmas). I have a one bedroom with a loft and NEVER hear any of my neighbors. Everyone in the leasing office is more than helpful and kind. Maintenance staff is very kind and always fix any kind of issue the same day. The layout is spacious with vaulted ceilings. They recently started a dry cleaning service that comes Tuesday/​Thursday and is about the same price as taking it somewhere yourself. Food trucks come now and then and there are holiday gatherings. The landscaping is ALWAYS maintained and impressive, as well as the pool/​jacuzzis. I wish I didn’t have to relocate for work, because I’ve seriously been spoiled by this place.

There are times in life when you feel lost and need a place you can call home. It was only for a little over 2 months that I stayed at Las Palmas in from September 2015. I couldn’t beleive how friendly and cooperative the people were in leasing office. This was a like a needed change to establish faith in humanity after a nightmarish experience at Pinnacle in downtown Fullerton.
They even offer drinks everytime you visit the office which includes a wide range of beers

I hate to write this, because except for this one thing, everything at Las Palms is off the charts good. This one thing happens to bother me a lot, though. Before I talk about that, know:
1. It’s an expensive area. Las Palmas is, I don’t know, maybe 15−17% more expensive than a lot of places here. The extra cost is worth it, because:
2. Gated, safe, most tenants are older/​professional, doesn’t seem like there are any students, quiet and peaceful and stable place.
3. Grounds and landscaping are amazing. Like living in a park (except you aren’t homeless). Pool is like a hotel pool. Gym is as good as it gets for an apartment gym.
4. Very good staff. Professional and friendly and customer service is frankly incredible. I have never gone in to the leasing office without being offered a beverage and what appears to be genuine concern for my well-​being. They’ll do stuff like drop packages off to you, too. Maintenance staff is equally friendly and professional.
Why I’m giving it two stars:
I live on a ground floor unit. First month or so here, there were tenants above us, but they weren’t loud. It was like they weren’t there. Then there were a few months without anyone above us. A few months ago, someone moved in. Over the last month or two, things have gotten pretty noisy. Turns out the floors are pretty thin, which is something I never read on any other reviews of this place. Las Palmas is dog friendly, but the person upstairs happens to have a very large dog, and it runs around, and it sounds like a child running around. It howls for a few minutes, several times a day, it’s like having a wolf in my apartment. Please don’t feel I am exaggerating when I say, it’s like someone is stomping around (the tenant), plus a child running around (the dog), for probably 25−30% of the time that I am in the apartment. I am in something of a «work from home» situation and I have to put headphones on during the daytime sometimes, because of this. Last night, the tenant apparently had some guests over, I would estimate 3 – 4 people, at least 1 – 2 females, yes, I could hear that well. It was noisy enough that around 10:30 pm I popped some sleeping pills, otherwise, it would have kept me awake.
Now how this plays out going forward might restore my love of Las Palmas. I have made a few complaints to management, not the tenant himself (because I don’t think I can do it in a non-​confrontational way) and apparently those were relayed by management to the tenant. No change yet. One thing that did irk me was, management said to me, «we could think about putting you in a different unit.» Without going in to too many details, I can tell you, I get to «take off» about one Saturday a month. I don’t have time to change units. And I got here first, and I’m not the one disturbing someone else. Why should I have to move?
Had I known this would happen, as it is right now, I would not have accepted a ground floor unit. If an upper floor unit had not been available, I likely would have gone somewhere else.
If you are considering accepting a ground floor unit here, while you probably can’t predict what type of behavior the tenant above you will display, at least ask if they have a large dog. If they do, prepare to hear it running around, all the time.
If this gets worked out in some way favorable to me, I would totally rate this place 5 stars.

I’ve been living at Las Palmas for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it here! I feel like I’m living at a resort. The grounds are IMMACULATE and really beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, and there are always people working tirelessly to keep the grounds looking perfect. The staff is also fantastic. Everyone I have dealt with in the office (Josh, Crystal, ?Claire?) has been extremely nice and helpful. Maintenance is also great. On two separate occasions I sent a long list of requested repairs (5 – 10 items each time, I’m picky!) and they were all addressed in less than 24 hours (actually, less than 12 hours!).
My closet is HUGE. That’s awesome. Big bedroom, big bathroom, decent balcony. Lots of storage: balcony storage closet, linen cabinet, small coat closet, storage cabinet in the garage, etc. Oh and the GARAGE… I LOVEEEEE having my own private garage!
To be fair, I could complain about a few things. What people have said about the parking does appear to be true. It doesn’t personally impact me because I just park in my garage, but I do see people parked illegally every single night. Also, certain features of the apartment should definitely be of higher quality for what we pay. The cabinets are crap and the countertops aren’t even real counters they’re just spray painted to look like stone. It’s basically dorm-​quality fixtures. I was expecting much better quality. The laundry machines are pretty old (but seem to work well) and don’t have timers on them. Overall though, the pros far outweigh the cons and I am so happy to be living here!

My wife and I have been living here for about a month now and absolutely love it. It’s very quiet, safe and family friendly complex. The way the units are set up keeps the noise between units to a minimum. Our unit, as with most, came with a garage which is also has a very very large hanging cabinet in the back for extra storage. Just about anything you can think of is within a mile or two in any direction you choose to travel. That includes the Brea mall, the DMV, to Home Depot, to several outdoor parks, to numerous grocery stores all within a few miles of Las Palmes. The maintenance staff is very friendly and they are always out side improving and tending to the complex keeping it very clean including the parking lot area. Lots of plants and trees give a more natural landscape that your average apartment complex. We had to move in a very short amount of time and the front office staff, Claire McCracken in particular, we’re all very helpful and honest. We got the apartment size we needed within the price range we needed. No hidden fees or any of that during our final paperwork. We are definitely considering renewing our lease when the time comes next year.

Words cannot express how awesome it is to be a resident of Las Palmas in Fullerton! It is the GREATEST apartment home complex I have ever lived in and I was thrilled to renew my lease in June!
So what’s so great about Las Palmas? Their fantastic Resident Team is absolutely outstanding!!! Crystal and Josh are the most professional, attentive, personable, resident-​centric and friendly team ever!!! They go beyond the call of duty in ensuring myself and surely all other residents are happy and experience Beverly Hills-​style living.
I actually feel pampered living here! Not only do I love the gorgeous layout which offers lots palm trees, exotic flowers and privacy, I adore my spacious, vaulted ceiling apartment home! The amenities (gym, pool, laundry facility, barbeque area, et al) are beyond exceptional! And, the facility is the cleanest I have ever lived in. In fact, it’s always clean-​clean-​clean, green and well-​maintained.
Speaking of maintenance, their extraordinary maintenance team are exceptional, highly skilled, super-​reliable and friendly! Juan, Rogelio and Brian are simply fabulous!!!
I’m so thrilled to be a resident at Las Palmas in Fullerton and I anticipate remaining a resident for a very long time!

I’ve lived at Las Palmas for close to a year now. I love it!
The environment is always peaceful and welcoming. The staff is amazing, and always ready to help with an unbeatable attitude. Crystal has been a real sweetheart, always willing to go out of her way to attend the resident’s questions. I feel blessed to live here!

If you’re looking for a nice and safe place to live this is the place for you. I’ve lived here for almost 5 years this August and I’ve never had any problems. The maintenance staff especially Juan are very helpful. They are attentive and prompt. The cleanliness of this place is awesome. Feels like you own your own condo. This is by far the best apartment complex in Fullerton! All the shops nearby make it even better.

We have lived here for a year now. It is so convenient for us since my wife goes to school at Southern California College of Optometry. I love the fact that it is a safe area and it is close to her school. I feel like the location is great. It is close to the freeway but it doesn’t sound close. I cant hear the cars but I can get on the freeway pretty quickly. We are central to all the shops in the area. There is the Brea Mall, 2 Targets, and many restaurants within a 5 mile radius.
Now with the actual apartment itself. Ill start with the premises, then our apartment.
Las Palmas offers a pool, Jacuzzi, gym, and barbecue grills. There is even Laundry facility on site and a business center. The landscaping always looks great because the staff is always very good about the cleanliness of the complex. The only real problem is parking on the weekends. Everyone is home and extra parking is hard to come by since we are only assigned one space.
Our apartment is great! There are washer/​dryer hookups in our patio storage room so we can have our own laundry in our unit. I love our layout and space. Also, whenever we have a problem in the home for maintenance, the staff always gets it fixed. AC, bathroom, kitchen, etc. We have never had an issue they haven’t addressed.
Finally the staff and management. Crystal is absolutely amazing. She has always helped us in whatever we needed with regards to our stay in Las Palmas. They were able to work with us and our situation and made sure we were happy. Their service is above and beyond. The whole management staff is like that. Whether its a small as picking up a package, to something with your apartment. They are always so willing to help.

They have social events here to really make it a community. They have events with regards to the seasons and holidays. My favorite is Taco Thursday. Burritos are amazing.
Highly recommend.

I am sorry for everyone but I will say the truth. I have been in Las Palmas for 20 months until now and I don’t think %1 to change this amazing place. You look like in resort with safty. I didn’t see any police car in the complex except the security who take care about the close pool at 10:00pm every night.
When my family visiting every year I rent in this complex by third part. They feel in the las palmas better than the hotels with same price.
When you need the services for maintenance just ask and they will with you as soon as possible and they are 24 hours for emergency case.
I didn’t have the pets also I don’t hear any sound in all the day from it.
All the neighbor are friendly and give you the privacy.

My wife and I moved into the Las Palmas apartments last year in December. From day one, we felt comfortable and Crystal was sweet and helpful. The grounds are clean and well-​maintained and the community is so friendly! The management team and the maintenance workers go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. This is a dog friendly community and all the dogs here are sweet and well behaved. Thanks las palmas!

Great environment, great people and great workers. Calm, relaxing and well maintained community. Great location, everything you need is right down the street. Overall I love this place.

I’ve been a tenant here for a little over a year now. We’ve moved from a house in Placentia to these apartments to let the housing market stabilize a bit. Can’t make any predictions about the economy but this place is amazing.
A. The pool/​association is INCREDIBLE. It’s like your own private resort
B. The people of the front office are all very cool and extremely helpful
C. Excellent community and very safe

This is a great place to live. My boyfriend and I have lived here for two years and never had any problems. Since the first day I walked into the leasing office, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Anytime I had to call maintenance, they were there within the hour. Maintenance staff is very friendly as well and fix anything you need.
I go to school at CSUF and it was so close I could ride my bike every day, which was very nice and convenient. Not only that, but it’s close to the Brea Mall, Downtown Brea, and Downtown Fullerton– if you like going out. This complex is perfectly placed and I loved it because it just felt right in the middle of everything.
The gym is always clean, and usually empty, the pool– always clean and even heated in the off season :) How awesome is that?
The only thing is that rent is just a little pricey for an apartment, however considering the spacious rooms, garages, courtesy patrol, gated community and amenities– you get what you pay for. Living here, I never had to worry about my safety or my home or car getting broken into– which I think is the most important thing when choosing a home. Neighbors are cool and quiet (no noisy/​drunk college kids) and I never saw anyone shady hanging around outside.
I only moved out recently because I purchased a home, but I loved living here and still would. Management is awesome and very professional. This is a perfect apartment complex and you won’t be disappointed.

Lived here for two years, never really had any issues minus the parking. They don’t enforce it, people park in front of mail boxes, in handicap spaces when not handicapped as well as in fire lanes. People do not park in their garage or car ports but use them as visitor parking for their friends or as extra storage.
but other then parking the maintainace guys are very helpful and any issues are taken care of quickly. The office people come an go ALOT so don’t think the person that showed you your apartment will be there in a few weeks. this really is not a problem because everyone in the office at least tries to make your stay there pleasant.
The pool can be an issue because during the hot summers, non residents come to the property and use the pool. This is not enforced either which claims parking spots.
Would I move back yeah more then likely. its close to a lot of shopping and entertainment, plus they are great with having larger pets.

We haven’t moved in just yet, but Daniellea gave us such amazing customer service that we are already confident in the Las Palmas management team. Daniellea really went the extra mile to help us out! I’ll update once I move in!

If you want to pay an arm and a leg for a normal apartment and rude management come here. They are not the nicest people. They are not understanding at all and have ridiculous expectations when it comes to moving out. They are incredibly nasty when it comes to you moving out, their true colors come out that’s for sure. I agree everyone who is giving fantastic reviews must be employees themselves or friends and family. I have never has as much trouble at an apartment as I do here. And to everyone saying they fix things right away that is not the truth at all I had something broken for two weeks because they didn’t know how to fix it.

I feel Vic the manager does not address the needs of the tenants. He lied directly to me on the phone. When I confronted him about it, he simply did not know what to say. He could not address the issue. He kept going over it and over it with a different lie each time. Then when I called to speak to Rita about it, she was more understanding at first. Then when I wouldn’t comply to her time frame of the next «24 hours» she could no longer help me. I told her first thing Monday because if I don’t work, I don’t feed my family. She said… too bad. These good reviews must be from friends or family members, because I’m not the only unhappy camper over here. Trust me.

Very nice place to live. Management is proffessional and accomodating. They are very quick to address your needs and problems. Whenever Ive had a problem and put in for a work order, it is usually fixed same day. The grounds are clean and well maintained and everyone is very friendly. Kitchens are very spacious and the patios/​balconies allow room for full size washers and dryers.
I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a great apartment!
