We needed to put new flooring into our house. Our schedule was not flexible and my wife found Tony through Unilocal.I was in favor of hardwood until I had a long and serious chat with Tony about the advantages and disadvantages of hardwood vs. laminate. Tony is very knowledgeable and patiently listened to us and showed us tons of samples. Together we decided on a high-​end laminate. He gave us a great price and managed to get all the job done. His workers were amazing. They’re very hardworking with great craftsmanship. We had some minor issues after we moved in but they came back promptly and fixed everything. Now more than a year later our floor is wonderful and we’re extremely happy with it. Plus, Tony is just a really nice, honest guy, the kind of person it’s actually a pleasure to do business with. If you’re looking for any kind of flooring, your search is over!

I found J.R. Flooring Concepts by accident. I was heading to another store to look for wood floors, and saw their sign. I had previously been to many vendors looking for flooring. It was a happy accident that I discovered J.R. Flooring Concepts, since they don’t do a lot of advertising.
J.R. Flooring replaced my sixteen year old glued down maple flooring with engineered hickory flooring. The project was was for about 1,000 square feet of flooring in my kitchen, family room, hallways, entry, dining room and living room. The crew also replaced my baseboards. They came in after renovations were finished in my kitchen and before my painting crew.
Tony and his employees are amazing. They worked efficiently with a great deal of attention to detail. They were respectful of my house, animals, and possessions and genuinely seemed to want me to be happy with the work that they performed. They were very flexible about scheduling the job, since we weren’t sure when my kitchen renovations would actually be complete. They left my house clean each day, and were very prompt in the morning.
My floors are absolutely gorgeous.
One of my neighbors, who worked in the construction industry came to my house after the wood floors were installed. He guessed that I paid three times as much as I did for my floors because of the quality of the flooring and the artistry involved in the installation.
I will definitely be back. Because of their prices and level of service, J.R. Flooring Concepts is the best place to buy floors in Orange County.

We had some water damage to our laminate floor and rushed to JR Flooring to see if we could find some flooring and have it installed ASAP. Tony was wonderful! He showed us a huge selection of laminate flooring and guided us on what he thought would be best for our family as far as durability with 2 kids running around. He came over that same afternoon to do the measurements and by the end of that week, our floors were installed! The whole process was seamless and outstanding! We are so pleased with Tony and his team, we’ll definitely be back to JR Flooring to do the rest of our house.

We recently had wood floors installed in a house that we just purchased to replace old floors and hired Tony and his team. The floors look outstanding! I told Tony the color scheme I was looking for and he showed me a gorgeous hard wood that I ended up with. I couldn’t be happier. The floor is so pretty. We were on a tight timeline and Tony worked with me to make sure it was done before we moved in. In fact, his team even showed up a day earlier! I would definitely hire him again. It was a terrific experience and our house looks beautiful.

This place is the best shop around for anything that has to do with flooring. Excellent service and everyone is always willing to help! Fantastic place if anyone is considering a floor remodel.

My new carpet is beautiful! I love the color and the padding us so thick and comfortable. Tony and his crew did a great job. Things I love about Tony at J&R Flooring…
1) He really listens. I showed up 20 minutes before closing on a Friday. I had just found out that I needed new carpet in two bedrooms of a house I was listing for sale the following Monday.
2) He understands design, and he knows his product. I am an interior designer for very high end clients in L.A., and I was exhausted when I arrived at J&R. Frankly, I don’t know much about products for projects with tight budgets, and being tired made me indecisive. He helped me pick out a great type /​color of carpet for a good price.
3) He truly cares about customers. There was no time for him to go out to measure, and I didn’t have a check with me for a deposit, but he trusted me, and finalized the order with the warehouse, just minutes before they closed.
4) Excellent installers. Tony arranged to have his installer pick up the just ordered carpet, and be at my house at 8am Monday. They arrived on time, got to work, and in short order the carpet was beautifully installed.
I definitely look forward to working with him on future projects!

I went here to get baseboards done and I was highly satisfied. The owner tony is very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. It’s very hard to find companies these days that really care about their customers. He defiantly goes the extra miles for his customers, which really means a lot to me. I’m very happy and would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for flooring. Prices great and customer service top notch!!!

Toni at JR flooring was very professional and timely. He come over my house gave my wife and I an estimate and time when our hardwood floors will finish and what they would look like. Jr Flooring Concepts is owned by Tony and has been around for years! They have worked on both my old house in Huntington Beach and my new (and bigger lol) house in Fountain Valley. They have done carpeting and hardwood floors for me and everytime they have done a great job! Once I had a problem and Tony made sure it got fixed! I ordered carpet for my business here I was impressed with JR Flooring from beginning to end. Tony is everything you are looking for when you are unsure what you need.
