I had to do it. I handed a 5 stars to a coffee place. But this place deserves it! Read on to unravel the mystery that you’re now dying to know… First of all, let me quote KP, one of the reviewers below me: «Now, don’t get me wrong, I am in no way a biker chick, or rock music aficionado. But, trust me, you do not have to be in any way to appreciate Coffee and Chrome.» That sums it up. Well, it would be kind of scary if I was a biker chick, the sex change would cost more than the ride, but let’s move on. The owner here is EXTREMELY nice and cares alot about the customers. If you are unhappy in any way, or unsure what you want, she’ll talk to you and make sure you are happy when you walk out. This is so important for a coffee place nowadays. in the hustle and bustle of todays Starbucks and coffee chains, it’s so rare to have this. The coffee itself is great as well, and very affordable.3 dollars will get you a medium sized anything hot or cold, and the tax is still only 7.75% as they have sucked in the hit of the CA tax increase in the interest of everyday people. Kudos. I usually get a capuccino or mocha, but once in awhile I’ll take something real strong like the triple expresso-triple chocolate boss hog. They have food here too, which I haven’t tried yet :) Super plus: they will sub in soy milk for no added charge. NICE.

This place is definitely worth checking out(unless you like the burned expensive taste of Starbutts). I love their coffee drinks. A varied menu with great flavors such as Mexican Hot Chocolate as well as usual Mochas, Lattes, etc. I love the independent feel of the place. And their breakfast burritos are to die for. It’s worth checking it out. Look for the Subway sign as to not miss the parking lot.

Super great coffee joint. The décor is «chrome» and caters to bikers but the coffee and pastries are delicious and everyone would love it. The owner is super friendly and they make great coffee! It’s in the back corner of the plaza — and you will definitely see the Subway and Sex Shop first, but it’s a great stop to make. The design is beautiful, furnishing are comfortable, and the artwork is one of a kind!

Coffee and Chrome is SO awesome! It is most definitely the type of place that should have replaced the evil chain coffee places that suck the life-blood out of me! Now, don’t get me wrong, I am in no way a biker chick, or rock music aficionado. But, trust me, you do not have to be in any way to appreciate Coffee and Chrome. Despite the hardcore décor, and the neighboring sex shop(TOTALLYAWESOME!) Chris, the owner makes the place feel homey and very warm. I loved every single thing I had there, including the service. When she accidently made our drinks hot instead of cold, Chris was more upset that I would ever be and handed us the hot drinks to sip on while she made the cold ones over again. This brings me to the fact that what she made me… was actually better than what I ordered. The drink I ordered was called the«Hog Boss», or something to that effect, and it was amazing! Double espresso and double mocha. A-MAZ-ING!!! Better hot than cold!!! The rest of the drinks also bore biker related names and very interesting and delicious sounding combos! Of course, regular joe and espresso is also brewed fresh. Another thing I loved was the paninis that they have. Actually made with tortillas, the breakfast variety is like a huge, pressed, delicious quesidilla. As my J. Boo pointed out – it is like a panini, but MUCH less heavy! What else can I say, interesting art, a huge flat screen(Law&Order at the time! My favorite!) makes me SO grateful that Coffee and Chrome is close to school(CSUF)! If you’re in the area… definitely forgoe that Starbucks run and head down to Coffee and Chrome!

A HIDDENGEM! its in a small parking lot next to a subway, erogenous zone, a skate shop and tattoo shot. its SOOO good. very modern. they have art shows with paints from Chris Garver from Miami Ink. I recommend the«Good life» coffee or the chocolate banana and Chocolate covered strawberry. SOOYUMMY. The Coffees range from $ 3.50−5 but well worth it!!! They also have live bands. really punk rock!!!
