Denny’s

Let me start this by saying I can’t stand people who write nasty reviews, I’ve been serving in all types of places for years and i understand that things happen, a lot. Crappy people say bad things, but this is ABSOLUTELY NOT one of those reviews. I’m not a drunk party animal that dines here after the bar. I’m just a hungry sober person.
I visit this Denny’s maybe once or twice a week. I am getting sick of the terrible service for my 30−35% tips I leave all servers (or the manager when she is the one waiting on me) when you don’t deserve it. Even on my Togo orders. Seriously! Your servers sit in front of us and complain rudely about their tables. Please shut up!!! The manager, Ryan, and 2 other women are normally there when we visit. I’m sure anyone who works night shift will recognize me, that’s how often I visit. Last night I called to see if I could get a to go order. NOPE. They’re too busy. That’s fine, my restaurant does that too. (When were on a 1+ hour wait.) So I decided to go INTO the restaurant because I really just wanted some blueberry chocolate pancakes. I live close by… Nowhere else has them at 1 am. So we go inside. We are rudely greeted by the one woman who basically yells at us saying «It’s going to be a while before we can take you.» That’s fine, I’m cool with waiting, I get it. I told her we will wait. Mind you, I have manners.
Then the woman proceeds to walk out the door we just walked in, to go smoke a cigarette with the other employee, yelling to their group of friends about crappy customers who didn’t tip. Right in front of us. Right after she hollered that she’s too busy to seat us. Now I’m getting pissed because there’s 6 tables dining in the restaurant, and 2 people standing outside smoking who are too busy to go and bus a table. Really? Pissed me off. My friend and I sat waiting for 25 minutes while the employees walked inside, ignoring us, and went to complain about their crappy customers to the manager some more. This whole time they’re ignoring us because the lady who told us to wait obviously forgot about us anyway. 2 other customers come in. They tell them to wait a minute. In this time I go outside to call and see if asiagos is open yet, and they seat the other 2 people. Really lady? We left. The manager appeared to walk out after us after the girl saw us leaving and said something finally. Screw that I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for nothing just to hear a bunch of drama that no customer should have to listen to. This one instance happened around midnight of Thursday June ²⁄₃^rd. All 4 employees there should be able to verify this with you. You guys really need some serving etiquette.
Sadly I will be returning to receive more crappy service because I like the food they serve at Denny’s. But someone needed to say something, so I did.

Typically find myself here late at night/​very early morning when I’ve been out late or simply have a midnight craving.
The service is always poor. Servers and cooks using foul + negative language about their shifts or towards each other, shakes take over 25 minutes, orders are wrong, etc…
This has all happened multiple times, when the place was not busy at all. We have decided we are not returning.

Where do I start… The place is filthy, the wait time for our breakfast food was 40 minutes, there was smeared lipstick on our water glass, our order was wrong, the cook picked his nose while cooking, and the list goes on and on! I have no idea how this place is not shut down by public health! They are filthy filthy filthy!!! Even on free food days I wouldn’t send a homeless person there!

Nasty! I went in tonight to surprise my wife at work and overheard one of the tables talking to their waiter about a roach that was crawling on a wall out from the kitchen! If they are that bad, can you imagine what is on the food.

By far the worst place in town. Went for a late night meal (10pm) there were only two tables including us. There were multiple employees there but not one was actually working. We ordered and when we got the food half was missing. We told the server and he yelled to the cook to make it. When our missing food was done it just sat in the window. Multiple times our server walked past the food in the window completely oblivious. He was much to busy talking to his girl coworkers. While eating, someone came in to pick up a to go order and they were missing half of their food as well. The entire staff argued with them to just wait and they’d remake their food but at that point the people just wanted to leave with whatever was ready. We finished what food we had received and went to the counter to pay. Our personal server was there to cash us out and literally had to ask us who our server was and what table we were sitting at. There was only us and one other table! Directly besides the cash register and he had just served us for 45 minutes! When he tried to charge us for the items we never received we simply just pointed to all the food still sitting in the window behind them. The manager just replied, «oh damn.» While we were attempting to pay the entire staff just stood at the register and argued about missing smoke breaks. While checking out our server pointed to my fiancés hair and said, «oh you’re military?» When my fiancé said yes the server said «well what about me?!» Confused, my fiancé said nothing and just signed his receipt. We will absolutely never be back. It was a horrid experience. I am fully convinced that the entire staff is using drugs. Something needs to be done about this location!

Does the owner care? Does he ever go in this place?
Corporate Denny’s needs to shut this place down. Dirty, cooks and servers act like their busy even if two tables are full.
Never again.

Been here twice, once years ago and now. Both times the service was horrible. Not even sure who our waitress even was this time. Food was on par for a Dennys but the staff was completely confused about who was doing what and which way is up. I will avoid this Dennys in the future.

Worst experience I have ever had at a Denny’s. Food was poorly cooked hash browns were covered in Grease. Waited 29 min after being seated to get waited on. I would never come here again if it was place on earth to eat.

Disgustingly filthy. I can’t believe corporate Denny’s allows this place to stay open. The building is run down, who knows the last time the floors and equipment has been cleaned. Go somewhere else.

Food was good! the service very slow — the floor is not clean the table is wiped not clean and the bathrooms disgusting. bring your own «germ-​ex»

The place is dirty. The staff is disorganized, and some were wearing dirty clothes. The food was marginal. Skip this place and go to Joe & Eddie’s just down the street.

I wasn’t expecting much eating here but it was a Sunday night and pretty much everything else was closed.
We were seated fairly quickly and the service was very friendly. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner and I would say that my meal was pretty good. I know that these type of places will average anywhere between 2 and 4 stars but on this particular night I had a 4 star experience.
