Simple service and a good sandwich. I don’t normally review chain restaurants, but this firehouse stood out from any other that I’ve been to. They greet you upon entering and leaving, they bring the food to you, buss your table and even call you by name. The atmosphere did not feel like one of those other sandwich places. Good job on the management team and the team members.

Yes the welcome to firehouse choir seems forced. Why can’t business understand people love authencity. Food is excellent and the wide selection of hot sauce is a great feature. The meatball sub is out of this world.

They are always so nice and make everything perfect to order. Always accommodate picky orders. Went a few days ago to another sandwich place and ended up leaving due to a rude employee and driving the extra few miles to firehouse. Keep up the awesome work!

Their 500 calorie menu is very good. Love the Datil Pepper Chicken. Spicy but not crazy. The«welcome to Firehouse» chorus when you walk in is annoying. One welcome is fine. Half a dozen is silly — not that the staff has any choice I’m sure. :-) Overall a really good sandwich place.

I ordered the large veggie sub. I would definitely recommend this place for all veggie lovers. The good was tasty and juicy. Really loved it.

Glad I got medium sa which instead of large. Serving sizes are very generous. Definitely get sandwich heated. With the heated subs, you have a massive combination of flavor. Coke machine has multitude of flavors and combinations. Great stuff. Friendly staff.

Never knew a great sub till i stumbled upon Firehouse. Great sub choices, piled meats, fresh bread without that gummy make you belch chemical feel when you eat Subway bread. Extremely fresh lettuce and tomato. Anyone else feel like a mistake after eating Subway? Good prices too. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to serve and to bus despite it being DIY joint. Don’t think I’ll ever eat Subway again. Hope to be back soon to try other options.

Firehouse Subs is the best. Great cuts of meat, no gristle or mystery textures, delicious! Managers are chipper and engage with the customers, love it! I eat here at least once a week. Bonus: You don’t smell like a funky sub place after visiting here. You got your ears on, Subway? Ha!

This place is fantastic! The people who work here are so friendly, and service is wondeful. Delicious sandwhiches, and a little more expensive than Subway, but quality of the food makes the price seem less important. Love the cheeder brisket sandwhich.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve eaten at firehouse id be a rich guy. Love this place. Hasn’t gotten old. I frequent the frisco Preston road, and have been a regular at north frisco, and lewisville as well based on where I’ve worked. All great service, all great food! There is not one in denton and every time I have to go to subway(near work) it just depresses and angers me. Keep doing what your doing firehouse. lastly– If you call ahead it will be ready in under 5 minutes which is also nice! 10 stars!

Tom and his team go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your visit. I get the same thing every time and appreciate the consistency in the food. The place is always clean and if a sports junkie, this is a great place to catch a game.

This is my hubby’s favorite sandwich place. I’m more of a Potbelly gal, but I do like firehouse. Likes: lots o’meat; staff always welcoming(and the teenager staff are pretty entertaining goofing around, joking with each other); fresh product; Cool story; and the barbeque sauce is sick, I think I could drink it, its that good. Dis-likes: sometimes the brisket is too fatty; we have approximately 8 minutes to get home, otherwise the sandwich gets soggy and I can’t handle that, it grosses me out; Sometimes I want a cold sandwich, and it seems more a hot sandwich place; and its super fattening, I blow my whole cheat day on this sandwich day… Overall, if I had to pick a sandwich place and my #1favorite wasn’t an option, this place would be next. Oh, and p. s. Yes its more than Subway, but its also better quality. Not only in freshness, but the meat doesn’t look like something that came from a machine… You get what you pay for people.

I love this place… I was initially drawn to Firehouse to try the Coke machine that has like 100 flavor combinations but I keep coming back because of the quality food and great service. The Frisco location is our favorite. The owner is often there and is very friendly and attentive. We have tried several of the sandwiches. My favorite is the club, my friend likes the Steamer and the Meatball sub. I am not sure what makes their particular version of bread, meat and cheese soo good but it is delicious. Compared to other sandwich shops Firehouse is just better. The subs are hot, the bread is toasted and the flavor combinations, If you are in the mood for a good sub give this place a try– I don’t think that you be disappointed.

Awesome subs and fantastic service. I was greeted with the standard«Welcome to Firehouse!» by just about every member of the staff on duty right as I entered. The Hook and Ladder sub is my favorite, by far. The service was excellent with a speedy order(no wait), sub delivered by an enthusiastic employee that followed up with asking how my sandwich was and proceeded to pickup my tray just seconds after finishing my meal. 5 stars for these guys!

I really like this location and Firehouse subs in general. I see a lot of people compare Firehouse to Subway but I don’t get that at all. They both make subs — but that’s really the end of it, isn’t it? Subway is a sterile yellow environment where you can have your cold sub toasted by a disinterested and unhappy employee. Then there is Firehouse. Anytime I enter a Firehouse Subs I’m greeted by someone yelling«Welcome to Firehouse» to me. Great, love the enthusiasm. The person taking my order is always happy to recommend a sandwich or hot sauce, etc … the sandwiches are delicious as well. Once you’ve placed your order, you and your friends can grab your drinks and sit down and they will bring you your food. Again, much different experience than Subway. Firehouse is doing its own thing — completely different than Subway, and they do it well which is why I keep going back.

I love me some Firehouse Subs. The subs do cost more than Subway but the quality of food is MUCH better. If you’re not STARVING I would recommend chowing down on a kids sandwich. It’s the perfect size. One of the best parts about Firehouse is their awesome coke machines. It offers over 120 different variations of Coke. You can seriously make the best suicide drink EVER there. Give it a shot!

3÷19÷2011 Returned from out of town wanting something to eat. It was 8:55 pm and I had no idea what I wanted. Saw the Firehouse Subs and decided to give it a try. I went in 5 minutes before closing time. They had mopped the floors and I almost fell on my ass going in. Their menu is a bit complicated and I wasn’t sure if they would customize the sandwiches. I wasn’t sure if it was closing time or if the servers just weren’t in the mood for my questions, but I was severely rushed to place my order. I ordered a turkey and roast beef sandwich. I don’t remember the real name. I did not ask them to do any customization to my sandwich but needless to say, it was just okay. Nothing wonderfully delicious. I am hoping it is because they were closing but not sure. I will give them another try just to be sure my assessment was proper.

— Limited sandwich variety. Do you want meat or meat with extra meat? — Choice of white or wheat bread. The wheat was good. — It is $ 6 just for a sandwich. To get chips and a drink it will cost you $ 8. — Option to get it fully loaded: onions, lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, with a pickle spear on the side. — Sandwiches are served toasted and delivered to your table if you choose to dine in. — About 20 hot sauces to choose from in a little condiment rack. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy my sandwich. It’s that it was nothing special at twice the price of Subway or Quiznos. You can actually choose what you want or to build your own at other places. And they think offering a bunch of different hot sauce deems them worthy of being called Firehouse? There’s not even Tabasco! It didn’t even feel that clean in the restaurant to boot. Just did not enjoy sitting in there.
