If you are a credit card user stay away, they are 30 cents higher per gallon then the rest of town. Gift card prices are in line with town

This is the first place where I really got to understand the whole ‘Cash Card’ thing. You can get gas here cheap, cheap. With cash, you buy a cash card — like a gift card; a mag card with money stored on it. With the cash card, you buy gas for even cheaper than a straight cash price.
I assume this is some dodge around the laws /​agreements around credit cards that prohibit them for charging less for cash than for credit/​debit. Anyways, it’s cheap gas, although you end up paying for it some with the rigamarole of standing in line to charge the card.
However, saleswoman Crystal was lovely and gracious and funny and explained most of it to me, and now I’m a fan.
