Open 24 hours but intentionally treats customers poorly to discourage them from coming so the employees can sit around and milk the clock. I can not believe how rude these girls were. If you aren’t happy with what you do, don’t work here. Poor owner is paying to have a business open 24 hrs on Fresno’s busiest street and his disgruntled employees are intentionally chasing away customers. Maybe if you go during the day you can receive better customer service. I’ll update my review if I ever get to try the food. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try it because the employee was pretending she couldn’t hear my order.

Robertito’s recently closed their other location down the street on the corner across from the Costco Gas station. I liked that location more because it was bigger, had more seating, parking and a self serve soda machine. I didn’t understand why they opened this second location when they had the other one, but this place has a drive-thru. Seems like they finally realized it was silly to have two locations in the same area. This place is pretty small. There’s adequate indoor seating and more outside(too cold for that now). The counter is pretty small and tucked away a bit in the corner. Their soda machine is behind the counter so they get your drinks. My food on my last visit, Chicken Taco Salad, was good and spicy(spiciness always varies and they don’t advertise it as spicy). Was relieved it wasn’t all watery or oily on the bottom the taco shell because consistency seems to be a problem with them(probably cause I always see them with help wanted signs for cooks). They actually had decent napkins and not those tissue thin 1-ply kind that are worthless. Although they’re stingy with napkins since they only gave enough for 1 per person and their food isn’t exactly mess free to eat in my opinion. Overall it’s just personal preference but I just don’t like the way this place is set up inside and I just find it kind of awkward. Not a whole lot of parking either.

I love this place but there are a few things they can improve on. I feel like they put way too much tortilla on their burritos which I end up ripping off later. Their sauces are not great at all. The inside is not very clean or attractive. I always go drive thru. I’ve sat inside a few times and I always find some creeps and perverts at a certain time. Just go drive thru… And lastly, I love their vegetarian burrito so much. Their rice and beans are on point. Their chicken tacos are also good.

OMG where do I even start, Mexican fast food on steroids ! that is a good way to start describing Robertitos after experiencing their drive thru service at this location. Their drive thru service was fast, convenient, friendly, and most importantly delivering delicious fresh Mexican food(not-gourmet or madre quality for sure, yet good tasting, not crappy like taco bell) and its 24 hours… seriously? Plus they make their tortillas from scratch? What? this can’t be real I told myself as I chummed my way through my meal. Their prices was also a steal, sure they aren’t dirt cheap, but for the portion of serving size, this place is a better choice than eating at other fast food places, heck I would had spent more money at ‘In and Out’ with just burger and fries, in comparison to what I can get here, a full wholesome meal. Im just surprised and amazed to be honest, I initially thought Robertitos was serving cheap bland americanized Mexican food like at Taco Bell or Del Taco, or at least that was my initial impression, but after tasting their food today, I have to admit the food here is actually above average and tasty, and actually made from scratch, its not some pre-packaged crap teared open and warmed up like at most fast food places. I would go as far to even say, they make better Mexican food than some brick and mortar Mexican food restaurants in Fresno and Clovis. For my quick dinner I tried their Chili Verde Plate for $ 9.99. This wholesome platter came with Mexican rice, a generous portion of chili verde with chunks of pork shoulder bathing in a delicious spicy green chili sauce, refried beans, salad, guacamole, and served with a side of home made tortillas, yes I repeat home made tortillas. The taste itself was actually great, I was assuming a fast food taste, but the actual result turned out to be almost home made taste Mexican food. The chili verde was a delicious kick of spicy flavors from the well grounded tomatillo and jalapeño, the pork shoulder was very tender, while the home made tortillas tasted really great, almost reminded me of the indian chapati. The refried beans was smooth with slight chunks of bean, just the way I like it, while the rice was perfect flavored. This unassuming Mexican drive thru takeout and casual dine-in restaurant is absolutely amazing for a quick, cheap, delicious, fast and tasty Mexican food. Sure it would not be the best Mexican food in the world and the best in Fresno, but there are times when the cravings sets in, and convenience is the pleasurable way to go. Definitely impressed so far a would be my 24 hours fix for good Mexican food when Im hungry.

Meh. I came here today around 4 pm craving Mexican food, holding dear that sweet anticipation that comes with the feeling of going to get Mexican food.(I love Mexican food) It was empty when I walked in, but every single table was dirty and had crumbs, sauce, or other unmentionables littering the surface. Luckily my boyfriend found a small semi-hygienic table near the side wall. My boyfriend ordered carne asada tacos, and although I was craving tacos as well, at over $ 2 a piece(some $ 3 a piece) I quickly realized it wasn’t worth it. I opted for a burrito. Little did I know, the regular $ 4 chicken burrito comes with literally CHICKEN only. No rice, no beans, no cilantro, no flavor. So I went with the«Power» burrito, a $ 7.99 burrito that came with the works, but was ultimately lacking in flavor and satisfaction. First off, I cannot believe that someone I hold dear actually paid $ 8 for that burrito for me. What a ridiculous concept of quality/price this place has. It’s almost insulting that they charge what they do. It was still pretty bland despite its variety of contents, and I figured it was probably because this place uses low quality, barely edible ingredients. I noticed the chicken was grey and the tortilla seemed doughy and barely cooked. I hadn’t been to Robertito’s in years, but now I’m glad that I at least know not to go back. I don’t know how to accurately describe my disappointment in words right now, so let me just make a few points: 1) I think there’s actually like, a law or something that customers are supposed to have at least ONE clean seating option. Minus one star. 2) When the cashier makes a mistake, she should not respond by rolling her eyes and making a grudging stare at ME. Minus one more. 3) An $ 8 burrito that comes in paper wrapping and on a plastic tray better cure cancer. An $ 8 burrito of this statute better come with fireworks, dolphins, and Ellen DeGeneres. Do not kid yourself, Robertito, your sub-par food makes Taco Bell cringe. The reason they are getting ONE more star than the one necessary to place a review, is because they’re open 24 hours, which may come in handy sometime when you’ve had a long night of drinking and cannot taste anything anyways.

This is highly underrated place. I love coming here after a night shift at the hospital. The breakfast burritos and the carne asada fries are so satisfying. I love how the tortillas are freshly grilled. You can tell that the tortillas are the real deal when you can just smell how good it is. The drive thru is also very convenient.

Dirty tables. They don’t have a self serve soda fountain so if you get a [small] cup of water you’ll be asking for a refill every few minutes. Bland food. Won’t be eating here again; Taco Bell is better.

The breakfast burritos hit the spot the next morning/afternoon after a long night o’ drinkin. We always get the number 1 and the number 3. Greasy and good. Think the number 3 is the better of the two but I can’t remember.

I enjoy this place in particular the carne asada fries! It is the closest to how the places I go in San Diego make it I would recommend going between 6pm and 10pm.

expensive and not very good. i gave it chance 3 times(because 24 hours so i go late) and then realized its not worth it. carnitas are bland and greasy the asada is bland. they do not make good food period. places like Zamoras Carnitas are 1,000,000,000,000,000 times better.

I am giving this place one star just because the it’s «ok» but the service is the worse service ever people are rude I asked for a Chile Verde taco and they couldn’t sell me or make a Chile Verde taco just because is not on the menu even tho they sell tacos. My order took over 40 minutes I asked to speak to the manager and there was no manager on duty and the cashier name Vanessa couldn’t do anything about my complains she was rude and she left me talking to myself(ignoring me). I don’t recommend anyone going to this place … too bad it looks nice from the outside but with a service like that not worth it giving them another try. To the owners: If you care for your business please make sure you guys hired people that are willing to treat people with respect and with a good attitude and overall to have a smile when they are taking ur order we are going to buy not to get free food.

This place is a joke ! I went here today for a quick burrito case I had the kids in the car whAt a mistake that was I ordered a burrito and what I got was day old asada that was reheated ! At least it’s cheap here right? Wrong 0ver 7.00 bucks for a no flavor reheated burrito not sure how this company even is in business. And for the bonus I ask the girl for a small handful of chips and she tried to charge me 3.25 for a side of chips ! Of course I passed. U want a real burrito go to Papis mex grill and pay a buck more and get a 10 times better burrito …

No Bueno!!! Worse Mexican food ever. The tortillas were cold and taste bad. The chicken and carne azada does not have flavor at all. This is not Mexican food. I will never back again.

Something fast something ok, a lil dive but a lil flavor. I’m not totally knocking this place as I’ve ate at every single 1 in fresno BUT, it’s simple to the point and quick. And u can occasionally here a Mexican dude in the back singing songs from his main land now how can u argue with that? Some quick grub and a serenade. I say yes :) try the CARNEASADA nachos but be a lil intoxicated they taste better that way.
