My husband and I came here for a quick bite to eat, and the employees were very friendly. Everyone was pretty talkative. It was a little dirty in here, but nothing too horrendous. We ordered a small pizza, which came in about 15 minutes. That was the given time, so that was a good start. The pizza was very good, I haven’t had me and eds in years and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! I loved the old time feel in here, it was a blast from the past! We will return.

Who doesn’t love pizza? Being raised in Fresno I think most can say me n eds is our favorite pizza place! This is my local shop, unfortunately the quality is a little bit or miss. The Italiano is hands down the best but I only get it with extra sauce! There pizza is always very dry tasting without extra sauce, we live the cinna treats and just discovered the thick crust pizza and helps with the dryness factor!

Ordered a pizza an hour and 20 mins ago. Called was told driver left 15 – 20 mins ago with pizza to call back in 15 mins if he hasn’t shown. I called back 15 mins later mind you 30 mins later since driver left still no pizza. Call back the guy who answer was«umm he should be there you know what I mean?» I said can you check on driver? He said«um he just left I said now you said 15 mins ago he left I called back 15 mins later you said he just left again. Horrible service! We live down the street!

My husband and I have come to this pizzeria for years. Unfortunately, this restaurant is getting dirtier and dirtier. The bathrooms are disgusting and we found a dead cockroach on the booth seat. We will not be coming back here anymore. Going to Herndon and West now.

So sad this place isn’t what it use to be. Use to visit here frequently when I lived in Fresno. In town for the holidays and staying just down the street so we decided to stop in. First night– food took longer than estimated but it was busy and we understood that, no problem, until the girl at the front answering phones and taking orders decided to give us uncalled for attitude. Rude is an understatement! She definitely does not understand customer service and obviously hates her job. We were in town for a week and later decided to give the place one more try, since it might have just been bad service that night. Placed an order and the guy that rang us up accidentally messed up somehow when entering our tender choice– manager stepped in and gave HIM terrible attitude for his mistake. She had to enter everything all over and apparently made a mistake herself because when our order was up it was wrong. Again, she gave the guy that took our order attitude and blamed him for the mistake. It was a pretty prolonged and public criticizing. He apologized to us for the mistake but we reassured him that he wasn’t his fault. He was actually very helpful and friendly as was the older gentleman that suggested he could remake our pizza. Bottom line– the service was terrible the first time and when management is lacking basic people skills, how can employees learn and grow?! This place needs to reconsider the management and some staff.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE. Long story short I called to place an order for pick up and the woman who answered the phone was SORUDE. She hung up on me 4 times so I had my boyfriend call and she hung up on him 3 times. Honestly Herndon and West is worth the few extra seconds it’s nice and clean and the employees are so so so nice even when they are swamped unlike Bullard and west. I will NEVER go back to that one ever

Took my daughter to lunch on a Saturday at 11:50am. They hadn’t been open long and only two other patrons in the restaurant. The ladies room was filthy and out of paper. Every booth was covered in crumbs. Four employees working and mostly leaning against the counter and talking. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the food prep area. Very disappointing. Either the night crew failed to clean from the night prior or the morning crew needs to step up their game

Pizza is pretty good. Much Better fresh. They need to put more toppings on.

I tried to order 2 pizzas from here tonight. I was told they were open until 10:00pm, I called at 8:15PM to place an order for a 9:30 delivery. I was told that«it was kinda slow tonight, so [they’d] probably be closed early, so [they] stopped taking orders.» Crappy service. Your hours are posted. Honor your posted hours. I tried calling another Me n Eds near me, but got the same story. You just lost a 3 year customer because your lazy workers decided to quit early one night. Maybe you should fire them and hire people who actually want to be there.

So this was one of my worst dining experiences ever, definitely the worst at any of the dozens of Me N Ed’s locations I have been to. We ended up here because it’s the closest location to my Grandma’s house. We all met up here around 730 on a Thursday night. When we got there, there were a few tables of people eating in, and lots of dirty tables. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 2 pitchers of beer to eat in. We finally found a table that was cleanish. We sat and started drinking, and trying to talk over the really loud music and waited for our food, the restaurant slowly thinned out to the point that we were the only table there. After 45 minutes of waiting for our pizza my dad went up to the counter. Well turns out our pizza had been ready for about 20 minutes, and they had supposedly called out our number. Hmm… well, we can’t hear anything over your loud conversations and the music. Since we were the only table there, and the food was for here, how hard would it have been to bring it to us? There was no apology, nothing just a «oh, well we called out your number». So we ate our cold pizza, and since its Me N Ed’s the pizza was still good, but while eating we just enjoyed the amusing show that was the complete lack of professionalism of every single person working there. All the tables just sat dirty, all the employees just sat and talked to each other, they had their cell phones out in plain view. It was disgusting, and pathetic. It seems like the laziness and complete lack of care about their jobs is a problem at this location. It might be acceptable if you are getting your pizza to go, or delivered, but definitely don’t eat here. Oh, I also found an empty bottle of liquor under a table. Nice.

I love Me N Eds, but I’ll stick with the one on Herndon/West. This Me N Eds SUCKS!!! It’s dirty, the employees never look like they’re doing anything, they’re rude, lazy, and just plain bad! They always mess up my order… every. single. time. It never fails. One time my boyfriend and I got pizza and breadsticks, and our order number was 14. Well the guy calls out something that sounds like 14, so we go up, show him our receipt, and he says«yup order 14 here you go.» So we’re just about to drive away when the guy comes running out to my car, bangs on the passenger window, and says we «stole» someone else’s order. Um excuse me? For one, I should have broken your fucking hand for laying it on my car, and two we didn’t «steal» someone else’s order, we showed you our receipt before we took it! We handed him the«wrong order» and he said, «yeah sorry to get your hopes up but this wasn’t your order.» …Yeah I got that you stupid fuck. He comes out with our order and then says«sorry about the confusion.» How about you say«sorry for being such a rude little bitch and hitting your car window» but I guess that was too much to ask. This was my worst and LAST experience at this Me N Eds. I will never go back. I wish I knew this guys name so I could call him out, but he’s the heavier nerdy looking guy with bownish/redish curly hair with glasses. Like I said before… I love Me N Eds pizza, and will probably always go here, but NOT to this location. Stick to the Herndon/West location if you’re in this area, it’s worth the extra five minute drive to get excellent service from nice people.

Had a large pepperoni and blackolive pizza deilvered from this location and enjoyed it. They putthe right amount of cheese, toppings and sauce on their unique crust. Another thing I lked about it was that it wasn’t a greasy pizza. I’ll definitely order from Me-n-Ed’s again when I’mback in Fresno!

I’m a regular customer at this location, ordering pizza here roughly once a month. However, I was very unhappy with their service this time around. I ordered for delivery, wasn’t asked how we would be paying, so I guess they assumed I would pay with cash… Which I didn’t have. They delivered the pizza in the very last minute of the 45 minutes to an hour window they promised. I had to pay by check but had to hunt around the house for several minutes to find my checkbook because honestly, who pays for anything with checks anymore? Very inconvenient and disappointing

I usually do take out from this location because it is close to my house. But I had family come in this last weekend for my daughter’s graduation and thought that it would be great to go here because they could accomodate a large crowd. There were about 20 of us and the staff was extra helpful in getting us an area to sit in. I love the pizza, and I almost forgot how great it is when it goes hot from the oven directly to the table. Some of my family is from out of town and they commented on the pizza was just as great as they remembered it. If I had closed my eyes, I could have sworn it was the same family get-together from twenty years ago. Thanks ME-N-ED’s for letting me continue a family tradition and not be disappointed. You guys rock.

Hands down the best pizza in Fresno. It’s on my way home from work so I pick up dinner from here two or three times a month. It’s always ready on time, warm and tastes great. If you like vegis try the Valley Vegi. If you’re a meat lover try the All Meat with BBQ sauce instead of red sauce… and writing this review has made me crave Me N Ed’s. Awesome. Pros: Delish, fresh tasting, not greasy, food is ready quickly Cons: They charge for ranch and jalapenos
Me-n-Ed’s is great in general. The Shaw and Peach(ish) location and the Blackstone location(Yes, I said Blackstone) are great to visit. I hate the new style and the victory grill locations though. This location seemed reminiscent of the old style, so I decided to try it out. This is no joke, I had to clean my own table to sit down. One of the 3 employees I saw was watching TV in a booth(also dirty) the others were BS’ing behind the counter. They had not ONE clean table, and I was the ONLY customer there. Forget the taste, quality, etc. every table being dirty, and me being the only customer? Lazy employees. Period. If they cant clean a simple table, how clean do you think their cooking utensils are?

We used to be weekly regulars and the family loves Me N ed’s pizza, but somewhere in the last year the quality has dropped. We have had to return pizza because the bottom was completely burned black. How can they serve this? Stopped going to Bullard and West, and drove another ½ mile to Herndon. Never had a bad pizza at the location.

I’ll always be a fan of Me-n-Ed’s in general, but my order from this particular location was just okay. Me-n-Ed’s has always prided themselves on using fresh ingredients and they say so on their 50th anniversary take-out boxes. When I opened up the box containing my medium combination pie with an original crust, I took a look at it and thought that it didn’t look fresh. The mushrooms had a ‘sliced and canned’ pallor to me. That said, I took a big bite and it tasted okay especially the signature corn meal cracker crust. If it wasn’t for the crust, I’d be disappointed with the pie. However if cost is taken into account, okay pizza can be had for a lot less money. Hopefully this was an isolated event because I tout Me-n-Ed’s as my favorite pizza chain. Someday, I will be back.

It’s been a while since I have been to Me-N-Ed’s. Ordered a pizza to go and after getting home found out that we were very disappointed. The crust was not much better than corrugated cardboard. It seems like they must have changed the way they make them or the recipe. The crust was hard, flat and burnt. Sure took away the taste of a good topping. Hard to swallow after paying a hefty price.
