One of the best hole in the wall places in Fresno… Friendly service and reasonable prices. Large portions and delicious. My favorite is combo B.

The best thing about this place is that their servings are ridiculously huge. Order one of their specials and it’s enough food to feed 3 – 4 people! But the taste is barely ok. I wouldn’t come back here for its taste.

Once again another place in Fresno I declare underground restaurant. The special they have is a breast and reasonable price, could feed four people.

DISGUSTING! The place is dirty, the service sucks and I’ve found a fly in my food while dining in one time. That was the last time!

My family has eaten here for 20 years. We recently moved out of state and came back for a visit. They take cash only and today when my husband paid the waitress accused him of not paying the bill. He gave her a 20 and a 5 to leave her a nice tip… won’t be going back

Yes, the dump hasn’t seen a dime’s worth of improvement since I’ve been going there in 1964, and don’t pay no nevermind to the fact one must wear galoshes while eating in the jernt, but I must say, no place can beat the Plate Lunch or Plate Dinner combinations anywhere, not even in San Francisco! Left Fresno since 1982, but every time heading to LA or elsewhere, always stop on the return home in the Bay Area to enjoy Lum’s! Their dry-wet chow mein noodles are the best as is their pork fried rice!!!

This place is disgusting, looks like a turd inside and out, the crazy dragon lady is rude and answered the phone while in the bathroom when she isn’t nickel and diming paying customers for a fortune cookie! Don’t waste your time or money going here.

This is a hidden gem in Fresno I recently just started coming back here and am happy I did. The Sup Gum is amazing not sure what it is but sure taste good! And the waitress has to be the best in Fresno. «Can I have some water?» No She brought water and I was still laughing. I’m not kidden this place is amazing.

It’s good Chinese food. Doesn’t standout from all the other Chinese food places in the valley. Why I go is the price, you can’t beat the amount of food you get for the price. The combo meals are good to feed 4 relatively hungry people and have a little left over.

Very good with lots of options. The place from a perspective view does not do this estblishment justice. Lots of food for your buck. The noodles are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Top it all off with there sweet tea.

Ok, so when you drive by this place you will find yourself thinking that there is no possible way they serve food in there, but you are in for a huge surprise. Ordering is a little tricky due to menu options but once you have it down you are good to go. Some of the best beef and broccoli and chicken broccoli I’ve had to date. The portions are gigantic so there will be leftovers. This place can rival food in San Francisco’s Chinatown any day. Oh and did I mention the spring rolls, absolutely huge! I’ve only done take out but every time I’ve been there the place is full.

First time to visit and I was happily impressed. The Darrel’s special was enough for two of us during our business lunch and still left some on the table. The food was not greasy or oily and was cooked perfect. I recommend that you give this place a try if you are visiting downtown Fresno and looking for a inexpensive alternative. Small, quite and the service was the best.

My parents have been eating at lums since the early 90’s! I’ve grown up eating it and I still continue to drive way across town just for the great food and service and the price. It’s not in the best area and doesn’t look the best but trust me its worth it!

Downtown Fresno doesn’t have much places to eat for dinner. So I took my butt a few blocks away off the deserted downtown area and find a Chinese diner. When I first walked in, this place is small with a few counter tables. Operated by a Chinese family, the diner was also playing Country Music. You don’t see that at many Chinese restaurants. Looking at the menu, the prices for each noodle and rice plates starting from $ 7.50. I had the Chicken and(American) Broccoli over Chow Mein. For $ 7.50, I get a mountain-size noodle plate with the thick noodle was pan-fried and a heaping serving of chicken and broccoli. The size of my noodle plate was huge with the food was passable. Fresno’s Chinese food is not the same food that I’m accustomed to eating when I’m back home. My meal: I also got free hot tea with my meal. Fountain drinks are also serve. Cash only. Despite being Chinese, the family-members are a bit hard-nosed with strict in-house dining rules. I’m not much of a Country-music listener and must accept the music while eating there.
