Hands down the best ice cream I have ever tasted in Fresno California. The taste, the freshness, the flavor is real and genuine, and the quality is absolutely par excellence. I had my first experience at the gazebo gardens ordering their Oreo junior cup for $ 3. The experience was splendid, the person who took my order was friendly and filled with smiles. The moment i tasted the ice cream, I was just in heaven, and bring the church bells and choir in too, it was that good. The creaminess is just tip top perfect, you can taste the milk, furthermore the taste is not overly sweet, and the texture is soft yet dense like a gelato. It was so good I even compared its similarity to ICECREAMLAB located in Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills Hollywood. All I can say this ice cream is really the best I have tasted, and was worth every calorie. On a different note, the color of their truck and their handwritten chalk board is also very modern chic, and ads an extra value to purchasing from this amazing food truck. I would definitely be returning and recommending this ice cream to everyone.

I saw the ice cream truck driving home one night and wanted to try it, so I looked it up and they are rarely out selling ice cream. But, because of that, I found out about Gazebo Gardens’ weekend events with live music and food trucks. I had a triple scoop: strawberry, chocolate and Oreo for $ 6. It was a good sized portion in comparison to Thriftys, Baskin Robbins and such. The chocolate was good and had a special flavor to it. The strawberry had chunks of frozen strawberries in it, but was the least successful of the three. The Oreo was pretty darn amazing. Overall very good, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for an ice cream truck that isn’t convenient. Either they should be coming to you or should have a storefront to charge that much. However it is possibly priced perfectly since I will have no issues paying for it again.

Awesome ice cream flavors. This place has really creative and delicious ice cream flavors. They are a bit pricey but about the same as any chain ice cream store. The reason for the four stars is because of the store hours. They mostly sell off a food truck so you have to track them down using Twitter or food truck website. I wish they had a store with regular hours but I still track them down for some delicious ice cream.

Jays Specialty Ice cream was awesome enough to come out to our wedding and serve our guests right out of the truck, Janel was so easy to work with and let us come try flavors prior to our big day to customize it just for us! We got to choose 8 flavors and they were all so Good! Plus she even custom made a flavor for my husband. So happy we chose Jays! all our guests loved it! This ice cream will not disappoint! Would recommend to anyone!

Awesome ice cream! Finally got to try their ice cream last night. The Oreo Delight tastes almost exactly like the Oreo ice cream from back in the 80’s. It is so good. Their banana ice cream had chunks of fresh banana in it which made it taste so fresh. It’s nice to taste some ice cream that’s actual ice cream… not a bunch of chemicals and oils. So, so good!

Really nice high-quality ice cream. Flavors I have never seen anywhere before. On top of it, Janelle and her crew are really nice people. Absolutely worth a try.

This place is definitely the best ice cream place I’ve been to in the Fresno area. Their flavors are unique and they try new things frequently, plus it’s worth every penny you pay. It’s only $ 4 for a waffle cone with a single scoop, and a single scoop is all you need. Personally I’m a fan of the English toffee and the coconut almond joy flavors. Also the girl working there is super sweet. :)

After hearing raving reviews from my coworkers for several months now, I tried Jay’s for the first time today. I had the Coconut Almond Joy(can’t remember if that’s the exact name) and it was AMAZING!!! I got the single scoop and was surprised on the size that I got. It was more than reasonalbly priced, especially since it was a huge scoop in my opinion. This will definately be a new weekly guilty pleasure of mine!

I had the Creamsicle Gelato. It was AMazing! I tried keylime, raspberry banana, and Oreo delight as well. The best icecream I’ve had in Fresno. Sweetness is just right. So excited to have found this little spot. It’s kind of hidden but it’s well worth looking for! They have very unique flavors and you get to try as many as you want! And everyone is super friendly. It’s heaven in a cone.

UPDATE: Received this lovely comment from the owner via UnilocalMessege: ” You obviously don’t know Ice Cream. You must have been tasting your own snot in your mouth. Your mama never taught you that if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all. I can’t believe your most popular rating you give is a 2. Have a nice day!“ ________________________________________________________ I tried this new brand and found it really disgusting. If you like the texture of snot in your mouth… this is it.
