If you are looking for Recruiting office that has recruiters that are knowledgable and that care, these are your guys. Im a veteran of 17 years and recently my wife, an Army reservist, was have problems with her reserve unit in getting her into MOSQ school. She was dealing with a very rare situation where she went to basic but never went to AIT due to an agreement with ROTC that had slowly fallen through over a several year period. My wife’s unit administrator was a bit confused and resistant to helping as she had never encountered such a situation. We were at out wits end and were having no luck at her unit. While at lunch it occurred to us that there must be some Army Regulation covering this situation and that a Army recruiter must be able to point is in the right direction.
We knew the closest recruiter office to us and decided to just show up and sake for help for a fellow soldier. When we got to the Army Recruiting office we explained our problem and asked if they could help, what happened next surprised me. Her issue was one that they never heard of before, but instead of saying that they couldn’t help, or that this wasn’t their issue (I mean helping my wife was no benefit to them she was already enlisted) they rallied around her, looking up regulations, making calls to people they knew that might have experience with this situation. After 30 minuets they had found the correct regulation and given us several solutions to the problem.
The point is, they were able to help my wife with no benefit to them. In addition they did it enthusiastically. This is the kind of attitude you want from someone helping. Get you in the military. Basically these are great! If you need a recruiter that will help you, this is the place.
