If you get an invite to a Park Lane Event from a friend– do NOT go. Lie if you have to– but come up with a reason not to attend. The«family owned and operated» business sells high-priced crap– that comes with a nice«Made in China» tag. I felt guilty because a friend did not have many people at her party and so I ordered 2 necklaces. One of which was $ 100+ retail for silver-plated silver. But wait, the second item is only $ 12!(Do you get the sales pitch now?). So I figured $ 126 for two costume jewelry pieces… a little high, but again with guilt. The silver necklace has many decorative loops/circles– and you can see on each and every loop where the silver was crimped together to form the loop. And because this created a «divit» in the circle– the necklace doesn’t lay right. Honestly if I had seen this necklace in a store for $ 25 I wouldn’t have bought it. And I don’t want to return it because I don’t want to create issues for the hostess. Waste of time and money.

I was invited to a party and it was nice, no high-pressure sales pitch. Lady just displayed the jewelry… very nice, very elegant, not cheap dimestore looking stuff like some other party plan companies sell. I got my order and was very impressed. That was several months ago and the jewelry, although worn on a daily basis, has stood up very well. Loved it and will have my own show sometime after school starts this fall. I would definitely recommend their products. To those cheap people that say it is overpriced… you get what you pay for.

Dawn Sommers is a friend of my friend whom my friend met at the dog park here in Fremont… where coincidentally I met my friend. Still with me? OK good. Dawn invited my friend over for drinks and dessert, and my friend called me to see if I wanted to go too – you know, meet some new people kind of thing. So I said sure. We arrived at Dawn’s house and met her dogs, all three of them… oh and the cat. Her dogs are very well behaved and do some cool tricks too! So, we opened some wine and chatted a bit, then Dawn brought out the sparkly stuff, and I’m not talking champagne… I’m talking jewelry! I had no intention of buying anything really, but after trying on some rings and necklaces, I left spending just under $ 200(with tax and shipping) and getting over $ 500 in jewelry! Yes, ladies, you can get jewelry for free! And this is good quality stuff – Swarovski and other austrian crystal, Russian cubic zirconia(very high quality)…and more. You get expensive designer looks at reasonable prices. Dawn’s style is no pressure… she really wants you to get the most for your money. The best part, though, is when she told us the return policy — if you, say lose one earring, just send back the one you still have with your receipt and they will send you a brand new pair of earrings!!! If anything happens to the pieces, just return it with your reciept and they will replace it, how cool is that? So give Dawn a call and say, your dog park friends referred me!
