got 2 teeth extracted this morning in preparation for implants in the future. thanks to doctor Jim Chen my old high school friend. he’s madly skilled/​trained and extremely gentle. easily the best dentist i’ve personally seen. i’ve seen about a dozen different dentists in Taiwan, California, and Hawaii in my life time. i highly recommend him to be your dentist if you are in the Fremont and San Jose EverGreen area. he has two practices. :-)
disclaimer: Jim did give me friends and family discount but i still paid some. but Jim is seriously good. =) super steady hands when he injected the stuff that numbs you. i also over heard his interaction with other patients so he treats everybody the same. he also takes his time and doesn’t rush you like Taiwan dentists who packs hella patients in like a mad house. give Jim a shot! he is a gentle mellow nice guy.

Really nice and funny guy. I don’t like going to the dentist, but he’s good at what he does so it makes the visit (s) a lot less painful. I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and am just dreading the day he tells me I have to get my wisdom teeth out…

I have been going to Jim for the past 4 years now, and I gotta say this guy is awesome. He is really friendly and funny too
He removed my wisdom teeth (i called him a bastard when he jabbed me with the tool and said i shouldnt feel it, but i did) and I go there regularly for a cleaning
The office is kinda small, 3 rooms, but the whole staff is extremely friendly and I like going there!
He is the main dentist, has 1 aid, and 1 hygienist all who are very receptive and helpful.
He is an odd fellow, works in Fremont Tues-​Thursday. He works from his San Jose office Mon and Fri since he is from there.
The hygienist works tues-​thurs as well, so schedule accordingly!
