Dr. Barakzoy was very thorough and gentle. I was afraid of dentist before I went to dr. Barakzoy. Not anymore. He is awesome.

Today was the second time I’ve visited this office, and hopefully my last. I was referred here by Tri City Health Center, so I shouldn’t have expected anything less. I went in for an exam on a few teeth that had been bothering me, when I got there the lady at the front desk told me I could only get one side of my mouth checked and for anything else I’d have to come back. So I picked the worse of the two sides of my mouth and the dental assistant came in to do some x-rays. She was really nice and I wish I remembered her name, she asked me questions, explained things about my exam to me, and made me feel comfortable. The dentist Barakzoy came in, took one look at the x-ray and asked me if I did any type of amphetamine. Not the most welcoming greeting to choose when you first meet another human but okay, I answered no because obviously I don’t do any type of drug and he basically scoffed at me. He told me that I needed to take antibiotics. I let him know of my health issues and that I can only take amoxicillin in its liquid form. He looked at me like I was stupid when I told him my problems. I told him that dentists have been telling me that I have weak enamel since I was a little kid. He didn’t believe that either. I made an appointment to have three fillings he told me I needed immediately before they turned into root canals. The soonest appointment I could get was a month later. So today I went in and paid to have white fillings as apposed to silver that were cheaper. I was the last appointment of the day at 4pm. I had the nice dental assistant again. I asked Barakzoy if my brother could sit in with me since I have anxiety and have never done well at a dentist, he told me that«only little kids who need their moms could have people back there so no» and had me sit down. He numbed my mouth and left the room. The entire time he was drilling on my teeth he was complaining to the assistant that my gums were bleeding, or «why did we schedule three fillings on a friday night?», or «I can’t believe she’s on my schedule we haven’t even done a full mouth exam.» While I sat there crying, he made me feel worse. He was also upset that I chose white fillings because they’re more complicated and time consuming than silver. He rushed through all three, even messing one up and having to re do it completely. Afterwards he let me know that the fillings wouldn’t last and basically my teeth suck no matter what I do.
