Applebee’s

Very disappointed and poor service. About once or twice a month we come in on a sunday night with group of around ten. The hostess always acts overwhelmed and like its near closing time which it isnt snd not even that busy. But writing a review because we always order several the chips/​salsa. My son asked for refill if chips and waitress snapped at us loudly «just so you know we only do one refill on chips/​salsa!» We said menu says unlimited and every applebees we go to offers that. Then she quickly snapped well its our decision and each district can decide. Which makes no sense when menu we were given says that. We said we could understand if thats all we hot but we were all getting meals and drinks. She just shrugged her shoulders. We could of argued about the size of salsa cup. If we only get one refill then salsa cup should be all the same and we had few so tiny that couldnt even fit a chip in it. (As pictured) rest of food was acerage but smaller than normal portions. Friends dip was only about half full etc. Dont seem worried about keeping customers happy if what to stay in business.

The wait on busy nights is horrible, for a small town. And everytime I order steak it’s always too rare then back on the grill then it’s burnt, and I had steam veggies and they were frozen twice. So otherwise I hate coming here!

This is the absolute worst place in Fremont!!! I went there abt 3 months ago and i was grossed out by all the flys there and left before ordering. Well i just went back there to give them another shot… Well there seemed to be less flys… until i ordered my iced tea. Yea there were 3 dead flies IN MY ICED TEA!!! I was so disgusted we left before getting my meal!!!

The food seemed mocrowaved, the service is rarely good, and we’ve had our food messed almost every time we’ve gone there. It could easily be better… :/

It’s Applebee’s so you know what kind of food your getting so it was no surprise to me that it was mediocre at best… What I really struggle with is the wait and bar staff… When in town on work we ate here 4 times in 2 weeks, we sat at the bar 2 times and in the bar area the other 2 times. The bartender (which in my eyes should be the happiest person in the bar) was very blah and not connected or engaged with any of the bar patrons (being a bartender myself for over 5 years the bartender is the one position that you have to be cheery and engaging). And the 2 times we were seated the service was just plain bad like they didn’t care if you were there or not…

They used to be one of the places in town to eat. Now it’s one of the worst. The last several times were disappointing. The waitresses are as awful as the food. No one had asked how the meals were. My last meal was a chicken fried steak which was cooked to perfection on one side the other side was burnt, I scraped the burnt side off. When the waitress brought my bill o pointed it out to her and got a half hearted apology. I will never go here again.

Great when they first opened but downhill from there. Their fish and chips were great. Two years later the fish and chips were greasy batter and chips. Continued
to go back there several times but the last visit was our last. I had a grilled sandwich that the grease was rancid, we had to call a water over to clean the table. The manager showed up with a dirty smelly rag and made an attempt that was pointless. I wanted to take a shower when we got home. I really don’t even want to put a single star.

I just feel the service isn’t the best. I also feel that it’s not staffed with the brightest people… I love Applebee’s but visiting here made me realize my Applebee’s I live by is so much better staffed and managed…

I have low expectations when I step foot into an Applebee’s and my experience was much worse than my low expectations. Food was not good and servers seemed confused at every interaction.

Terrible service and the order is all wrong. Tried this place about a month ago and same terrible service. Nothing ever changes here.

Free WiFi does not work. Just installed new WiFi nearby and I can see why it’s not working in chanalyzer. Manager never bothered to come see or help?

The worst service we have had at any restaurant in years. 15 minute wait before anyone took a drink order. Another 20 minutes to get our check. Another 15 minutes before the waitress retuned back with our credit card after we paid. 90 minutes for dinner at 430pm is just ridiculous.

Maybe it was the lady with the blonde Marge Simpson hairdo. Maybe it was the old folks talking politics in the next booth. Maybe it was the food. Whatever it was it was all good enough.

Told the waitress we would like our soup and salad before the main course of ribs (obviously) and they brought it all out together. They fixed it though, cooked us up a new set of ribs after we had our soup and salad, and they did not charge us for the main course. Excellent service from Manager Rydel, which we greatly appreciated and if not for him we would not even think of coming back here. This bad experience was all the fault of the waitress, she was not personable what so ever. She was like a robot who stopped at the table and hit the Play button. Other people had to tend to us because she was slacking. Overall the food was pretty good, only wish Fremont had more non-​chain options.

Staggeringly slow service. Took 30 minutes for the wrong dish to arrive (hot wings), and another 10 for the correct dish to arrive (apple walnut chicken salad). This poor service was dished-​up on a nothing-​special Monday evening at 10:30 pm. when they were not THAT busy.
Oh, and this Applebees plays a disastrous soundtrack of really loud heavy metal music. ‘Cherry Pie’ by Warrant is not appropriate music in what I thought was supposed to be a family restaurant.
But the salad was tasty…
