Walking into the door at Villa Texas will quickly transport you to Italy. Darlene Marwitz, shop owner, has hand selected every amazing item in this lovely specialty boutique. It is a not to be missed stop when you visit Fredricksburg.
The Bagallini bags carried in the boutique are designed by two flight attendants who saw the need for attractive travel gear. I have purchased numerous wonderful scented Italian soaps, candles, pottery, live lavender plants, dried lavender and kitchen tools from Villa Texas. Plus Darlene’s book, Italy Fever, because I, too, have had the fever since visiting Italy.
Villa Texas participates in the annual Lavender Trail each year with fresh lavender plants picked from their field and lovely lavender products. Visitors are invited to hand select their own lavender and picnic in the fields.
