I want to compliment the new owners of this franchise of the national chain. Evidently, they have had the business for two years. I went in to redeem a Groupon for a sandwich, and when I wanted to redeem two Groupons since my husband was with me, I was initially denied and then told if I made each sandwich a combo, I could redeem both. We declined, waited for my sandwich, and looked around at the boxed mixes, frozen pies, soup mixes, etc. available for sale. At that time, the owner came out, asked if this was our first time, and when we said we hadn’t been there in many years, he said he would let us redeem both sandwich coupons since we were new to his franchise. We thought that was extremely accommodating and very kind. While the turkey and ham are unquestionably top notch and deliciously flavorful, the sandwiches are a bit pricey($ 6.50−8). They did not skimp on the meat. The turkey sandwich on a bun is small whereas the turkey/ham combo was larger on served on a much more tasty whole grain sandwich bread. Making each a combo costs an additional $ 2.69 and gets you a small side, or a bag of chips, and a soda. Thank you for your kindness and letting us redeem both coupons! We will be back.

No question the ham here is a quality product and always reliably delicious, and we’re very glad to have this store in Frederick. We purchase a spiral cut ham at Honeybaked for special occasions a few times a year… for the holidays, a week at the beach or other family get-togethers. The staff is nice about trying to find a ham in the price range I’m looking for… which is appreciated… since prices are high, in my opinion, with the smaller half ham prices starting at about $ 50 and going(way) up from there. There was a time when this store sold frozen ham bones(resulting since some hams are sold boneless) at very reasonable prices(in the range of $ 5 or $ 6, if I am remembering correctly)…which made wonderful soup during the fall and winter months. I stopped in this week to pick up a few, and found, to my dismay, that prices had risen… to $ 11.99 for a FROZENHAMBONEWITHHAMSCRAPSATTACHED, with a «free» small package of dried beans added. Thanks…but no thanks. Whereas I might have stopped in a few more times this autumn to pick up my soup fixin’s(and maybe grab a sandwich and some specialty mustard too), … now I won’t be back for a good long time. Somehow I found the price of that frozen ham bone so ridiculous(maybe its just me!) that I’m unsure if I’ll ever go back.

Awesome food. This national chain is shockenly not well known around here. They do most of their business in catering, which is why this store along with most nationwide has some what limited hours. Their sandwiches are extremely tasty, and they have pretty good lunch box meals. Go for the sandwhiches, and be prepared to buy other things to take home, such as ribs, salsa, and pie. The owner is also pleasant, and provides great customer serivce.
