We had a great experience with Craig from UltraSound Home Inspections. He really took the time to investigate the house thoroughly, then explain to us what he found and what it meant. He didn’t rush us, and gave us plenty of time for questions. It felt like we had a really knowledgeable friend helping us check out our new home, and we couldn’t ask for anything better. They send(electronically) a full report, and then a summary report(which is pretty thorough itself). Fantastic experience!

We’ve used Ultra Sound Home Inspections(USHI) for our last two home sales /purchases and, while we had a good experience the first time, we did not have a positive experience the second time around. When we purchased our old home, USHI performed an inspection and found typical issues with a 15-year-old home: Some wood rot, a few doors that didn’t latch quite right, a loose hand rail, etc. When we sold that home 6-years later the purchasers used USHI again. This is where things got very interesting. Multiple semi-major issues were noted, items that we have photographic evidence were there when we purchased the house but were NOT noted. When we confronted the owner about this, he basically shrugged his shoulders and made it be known that it was not really his problem. Needless to say, we were upset and our Realtor, who has worked with USHI for years and recommended them to us was even more upset. I will not use USHI again and cannot recommend them. Human error occurs all the time – especially when most of the decisions are based on personal judgement – but having such variance(and from the same inspector) is unacceptable as was the owner’s attitude about the situation.
