I think they had a lot of Kawai’s to my recollection. The salesman was typical, didn’t leave much time for molesting piano keys. If you can fend him off, I’m sure you can find something decent in here if you are into that particular brand. They have some really neat antique pianos that are always cycling through the store.

Very happy with how they set up my son to start playing the trombone. Very friendly. They also do the servicing of instruments. We elected for the $ 5 per month maintenance since a 6th grade boy is not always careful.

What an awesome place! These folks are all about the customer. They stay open until 7pm most evenings and they have loaner instruments available, for pennies, for those that are in a bind without an instrument. I recommend this shop to anyone whether you are just looking, looking for lessons, or anything dealing with music!

I’ve been going to Shuff’s for seven years now, and whether it’s a new violin for my daughter or just to get a guitar re-​strung, this is the best music store in the Nashville area. I’m most impressed with the fact that on several occassions, they’ve actually pointed me in the direction of less expensive instruments than the ones that I’ve been interested in. In the case of my daughter (who quit playing violin after six months) this advice was right on the money (so to speak). She still plays guitar and piano, though, so I’m still in that store when I need something. The people are all musicians themselves, which makes a big difference, also. Highly recommended!
