Carothers Parkway General Dentistry

I had been going to the same dentist on the North side of town for years. He always did a good job, but when I moved out to Cool Springs about two years ago, I started looking for a dentist out this way. I have been to two others dentists in the Franklin/​Brentwood area, and when I left there, I knew that my next appointment would not be there again. I look for a friendly staff, and a genuine dentist that cares about the health of his patients, yet accommodates affordable rates. I saw Dr. Lawyer and DeAnna (hygienist, sorry if the spelling is not correct!) today for my first cleaning, and to make a long story short, I left there so excited that I found a new dental office to call home. The ladies at the front desk were also very friendly and efficient in checking my insurance to make sure that my coverage was going to work with what I needed to have done as far as procedures are concerned. I am so excited to finally be getting a crown taken care of in a place where I feel that the doctors and staff truly care about their patients. I know you are thinking, «Excited about having a crown?!», but yes, I am so excited I have found a place to service the health of my gums and teeth. It’s the little things in life :-)

They have a friendly staff and the dentist is very knowledgeable and personable. He isn’t going to push you to have 5 cavities filled at your first appointment. He is very honest and accommodating. Melody, my hygienist is the best! I have referred many of my friends and co-​workers and they have been pleased. Book your appointment today. They usually have a full schedule.

I scheduled an appointment with Carothers Parkway General Dentistry thanks to a co-​workers recommendation. I had to wait about a month before they had a availability.
I arrived for my late afternoon appointment, checked in, filled out paperwork, and then sat for about five minutes. After that I was taken back and my teeth were cleaned. The office was really nice. It was a shot gun room that had several cleaning stations divided by shelving units. Each space had a TV so the client could watch trashy afternoon talk shows while their teeth were cleaned. Dr. Oz certainly helped the appointment fly by.
The dental hygienist was quick and efficient. Afterwards the dentist came in for a consultation. He was very professional and offered some practical advice to solve my heavy handed brushing habits. He could have successfully pushed me into getting x-​rays taken but choose not. He honestly didn’t think I needed them. I really appreciated his professional honestly.
I came in over my lunch hour. I made it back only a couple minutes late. I only work a few minutes away. Their honestly and efficiently will definitely bring me back in six months.
