I had one of my worst fast food experiences at the Taco Bell in Franklin Square 3177. I went there back on Nov 11, 2015 because I had a craving for a Doritos Nacho Cheesy Gordita Crunch. I was a tad bit hungry, so I ordered a Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch Big Box. The $ 5 Box comes with a Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Burrito Supreme, Crunchy Taco, and medium drink. It took about five minutes from the time I ordered to get my food to go. That’s faster than my previous visits lately. When I got home, I was dumbfounded that they did not give me the Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch taco, it was just a regular Doritos Nacho Locos Taco, just meat, lettuce and cheese. The one thing I went to the restaurant to get wasn’t in the box. How could they have forgotten the Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch in a Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch Big Box!!! I was so upset that I called the store. The female employee that answered the phone kept repeating everything I was saying to the manager on duty and was very amused by my complaint. I was only told to come back to get my taco. I didn’t have time to go back so I told them to get the orders right and I wouldn’t have to come back then hung up. Not getting the satisfaction I was looking for I called the number on the receipt to complain. The operator took my complaint and offered to send me a coupon for free food. Two weeks later the coupon showed up in the mail. The coupon said I could get«2FREEMENUITEMSOFYOURCHOICE.» I went back to the Franklin Square Taco Bell a few days later and ordered 2 Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch tacos, figuring I would get the EXACT menu items I was jipped the last time I was there. The employee at the register didn’t know what to do with the coupon and asked the manager what to do. I thought something was fishy and added a Mexi Melt with my order anyway. When they handed me the bag I immediately opened up the food right on the counter and behold I was given 2 regular crunchy tacos and NOT the 2 Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch I asked for. I was very upset. I argued with the employee who got the attention of the manager. The manager got the coupon and pointed out that there was a picture of 2 regular tacos on the coupon therefore that was all that I could get. I said«NO!» The coupon says in print«2FREEMENUITEMSOFYOURCHOICE» MYCHOICE, NOTHERCHOICE I told her. I went on to try to explain that I got this coupon because of the mistake on my order the last time I visited the restaurant but she didn’t care and tried to stand her ground. The employee that took my order saw that I wasn’t going to back down and that I was determined to leave with 2 Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch so she convinced the manager to give me what I wanted instead of the manager taking the initiative to satisfy a customer. The manager was very stubborn over a few dollars worth of tacos. I got what I wanted after a unprovoked verbal battle with the manager. When I got home I called the complaint 800 number again. I explained that the manager at the Franklin Square location was rude, stubborn and did not want to honor the coupon. Employees need to know that when they see these coupons it means something went wrong on the customers last visit and this was Taco Bell’s way of making it up to the customers. The operator that took my complaint apologized. She said the manager’s behavior and the way I was treated was«unacceptable» so she would be emailing my complaint to a corporate manager and I should be receiving a call in the next 3 business days. Well, 3 days went by, no call. Then 3 weeks went by and then 2 months and still no call. Obviously none of the employees at the Franklin Square Taco Bell care anything about customer service and neither does anyone at Taco Bell corporate. I have not been back since this incident happened and I will not be going back any time soon. WORST. .CUSTOMER …SERVICE …EVER!

I come here all the time. They have a nice bathroom– a hundred times nicer and cleaner than the sh*t hole next door at Wendy’s. I prefer to order inside because the drive thru takes absolutely forever. I mean I’ve seen glaciers move faster than these people.

The food was fine when I went here, but the drive-thru was one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had at a Taco Bell. I waited almost 20 minutes(perhaps more!) for TWO chicken grillers. When I got to the window, I didn’t even get an apology. Another time when I went here, I got the wrong soda altogether. They really need to get their act together!

I used to work here and I have to say the manager Roy is on top of having everything cleaned and everyone doing their work. They have a great focus on running a good joint and make sure company policy is followed on every matter, very friendly and reliable. You can be sure the food is done right and nothing fishy goes on behind register and the back is cleaned and always managed to the best.

Went in and there was nobody up front to take my order. When I FINNALLY did get to place an order I decided to try the cool ranch Doritos taco and I must say that it was finger licking good. But inbetween when I went to find a seat there really wasn’t any suitable place to sit. Just about every table was littered with filth. Juice stains, bags, napkins it was as if a tornado struck. And the bathroom was gross white stains on the mirror, the trash looked like it was building an impenetrable fortress of dirty paper, and the floors looked like somebody sprinkled a little crack cocaine on it right next to the toilet. Not a good memory of my first ranch taco tasting indeed.

My friend and I visit this particular drive-thru(3177)roughly 1 – 2 times per week since moving to the Franklin Square area 6 months ago. I have yet to have a pleasant experience. The employees do not seem to be too familiar with the restaurants menu. The order screen has yet to be correct. I am on a very strict diet and cannot eat red beef due to an allergy and Taco Bell is one of the few fast food restaurants that I can eat from. My order is usually customized, which seems to be to an inconvenience to the cashiers at this particular location. At times I have spent five minutes trying to order as little as two items. On this visit, my request to omit cheese and sour cream and substitute beans for beef on my taco salad annoyed the employee on duty, Vanessa, who loudly sighed on the microphone. This visit I had ordered a total of 11 items, after receiving the order, my friend had made sure to check the order before we pulled away. Due to prior issues with receiving incorrect or missing items, we make sure to check the bag before pulling away. There were two items missing out of the bag. While my friend was trying to figure out which items were missing out of the bag, I was trying to get Vanessa’s attention who at the time was not taking any orders. She did not acknowledge me with words, just staring and looking annoyed, instead of asking if she can help us with our issue. Questioning us for«miscounting» our order, I handed her the bag so she can see that we were not trying to scam the restaurant of two $ 2.00 burritos. We had ordered approximately $ 25 worth of food that was being brought back to our home for us and our family members, there is no reason why anyone should have to not eat because the employees could not be bothered. Upon driving away, we did not receive an apology or even a have a good evening. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years. The employees at this Taco Bell seem to have an issue giving customers their services. I have had an issue with Vanessa, on more than one occasion, but have never went as far to call up or complain about my experience. I understand that mistakes happen, but if every time I visit I have either an incorrect order, missing food, or am receiving an attitude, I can’t imagine that it’s coincidental and that a lot of customers are dealing with these issues as well. After getting home, I had called up the store to speak with a manger to explain my concerns with the service I had received. I had spoken with the manager, Kathy, who did nothing but reply to everything I was telling her with an «okay». She too seemed unconcerned. I had asked her what if she was going to do anything about this and she replied” I will talk to Vanessa. Unsatisfied, I felt the need to bring this to corporates attention. I will not be going to this location anytime in the near future or even the Taco Bell establishment. to bring this to corporates attention. I will not be going to this location anytime in the near future. ***UPDATE***…One month later. Really wanted Taco Bell, thought I’d give this location one more shot despite my vow never to visit this location ever again, so I would not have to drive out of my way. Pulled up. My friend asked for 2 chicken burritos, one grilled one shredded. Confused employee yet again. Does not understand our request blah blah blah. Finally see something pop up on screen. Look at screen see 1 shredded chicken burrito and 1XXL grande supreme chicken something. US-” No that is incorrect.” Get a loud sigh. EMPLOYEE-” There are a lot of chicken burritos.” US-«yes but only one called grilled/shredded chicken burrito. Can you please restart the order?»(Repeated himself 3 or 4 times) Flustered EMP-” There are a lot of chicken burritos, sir.” I just drove off before I punched the order screen. Yet another 5 minutes of my life wasted trying to order something from this drive-thru. Jesus, I know from experience that the customer isn’t always right, but seriously. Such a disappointment, but every single time. Going inside does not make much difference either. Thanks for nothing, T-Bell. Negative 5 stars. 1 given so I could post this.

You’re driving around all night, hungry, tired, bored. There’s nothing to do. No one is around. Then, you see it, the giant illuminated bell. You’ve come home. This is where you should have been all along. They have what you want, the friendly people who ask«How are YOU?» before taking your order. The smiles they give, making you feel welcome, that anything you order will be made just for you! Tacos? Hell yes! Crunchy? Soft? Doritos? Cool Ranch? Regulare or Supreme? Oh, the decisions! You want burritos? You’ve got em! Cantina, 7-layer, crunchy beefy? Yes, yes, 1000 times yes! Gorditas, chalupas, salad bowls, nachos, the oft underrated Mexican Pizza! It was this that you were craving all along. You needed to be here. Then it happens, you take that first bite. The crunch of the taco shell releasing the fresh juicy chunks of tomato, the refreshing crispy lettuce, the tasty cheese, the tang of the sour cream and, the best part of all, the juicy meat. There is something magical about that meat! It takes you back to when you were a child. A simpler time. With the meat and its spices cooked to juicy perfection, you cant help but to smile. What are you craving right now? A trip to the border. Go on, you deserve it! Live Más VIVALATACOBELL!

Their new shrimp taco is pretty good. The 89 cent 5-layer burrito is ddong no matter how many times they play that damn commercial with that creepy white guy asking for Denise. I’ve never seen semi-attractive white girls working at Taco Bell. I once went through the drive thru and read a sign that said if they don’t ask me if I want a drink then I can get a free one. That happened and I asked for it. I don’t think anyone has ever called them out on this because the Taco Bell worker didn’t even know what I was talking about. More than coughing up my hard earned $ 1.79 for a large Cherry Coke, it was the principle. Like Mr. Belding. However, every time after, they always ask if I want a drink now. Lesson learned. I think I’m still the only person who goes to this Taco Bell.
