I had a family ring that I knew little about, and so based on the BBB rating, I brought it to Jaques Jewelers to find out more about the stone. Since it was in a bezel setting, it was hard to estimate the size and quality, but they were able to quickly file the setting down, remove the diamond, clean it, and measure it for me. Since it was less than 0.75 carats, they did not do a formal appraisal, but told me the approximate details about the diamond (CT, color, clarity, etc). I am very grateful they took the time to help me with my diamond! They are very professional. I will definitely return in the future for any appraisals I need.
